I highly recommend any buyer hire their own home inspector prior to closing- I’ve experienced issues from the start, from the HVAC but installed correctly, electrical issues, hardware coming out of the dry wall, irrigation took weeks to repair, fiber optics were not installed prior to closing so it took 3 weeks after moving in to get Wi-Fi and still after over 5 weeks , I still can’t get cable, clogs in drains for toilet and shower, windows and slider doors are not sealed properly so I have bugs coming in my new home constantly , paint is already chipping on my patio floor and exterior, screens missing, etc- I’m a realtor and buying my first home has not been a pleasant experience to say the least! I don’t have time to call warranty companies as a single mother working around the clock while moving in the first 30 days after closing-these are issues that SHOULD have been addressed at the builders inspection- not a happy new home owner of a new construction build and neither are my neighbors! ... Awesome experience buying home really made easy just time to touch up and fix problems been very patient

very disappointed in the contractors who built this home. poor workmanship and dont bother to cleanup after working. found several nails and debris in front and back yard. they dont take pride in what they build

Poor quality, wish I could turn back the clock wouldn't buy this from house. The floors upstairs are horrible, the paint job is like a 4 year old did it. Ect,Ect

It was a good experience working with LGI Homes, they were updating me every week with the progress of the construction till the moment of closing. I'm giving them a four star overall because of the time it took to finish the house due to the lack of materials because of covid.

The process is easy; there is some delay/communication issues that could be fixed, however everything transitioned very smoothly from renting to owning. Just had to make sure I stayed on it.

One year waiting but it was worthy.

From beginning to closing day the process was simple. We're first time buyers with maybe average credit and I don't think it could've went any smoother. The sales team works to get you approved. I highly recommend especially to first time buyers.

We had an overall positive experience with purchasing our first home. It was a good learning experience. LGI was great to work with and answered questions quickly.

Over all experience good but little bit more transparency and communication could have been better..

The house has some issues

I’ve been in the house for over a month now. I like the place and location. Everyone is nice. My only issue is I have been missing a kick plate for my dishwasher, and my back door does not lock. Still waiting for those issues to be addressed.

The home was done two weeks before it was scheduled to be done.

Love it so far

Overall LGI was good to work with. However, there are some things I wish/hope this developer would do. For example, Saddle Brook will have 88 homes when it's finished but there are absolutely ZERO streetlights here. That's not good. Also, as of this writing, there is no signage indicating the name of the property. Not sure if they will. It would make it easier for guests and delivery drivers to find us. I hope LGI will think about these things in the future. Also, apparently they once had a security guard but have since gotten rid of them. Lastly, use semi-gloss paint throughout.

A very quick and efficient manner selecting the home. The staff was great to work with. However, the materials to build the home are not the highest. For instance, the paint is the lowest quality I have seen in a home. You brush up against it and it automatically puts a mark on the wall. You can't even clean the walls without paint coming off. There are a lot of dry wall mistakes that you can see through the paint as well. The carpet is a low grade and I can already see areas that are showing signs of coming apart. Lastly, the landscaping was rushed and my yard looks like rolling hills.

My experience with LGI has been okay. There were many delays with completion and confusion at closing with amount due. I am not sure if this is typical as this was first home purchase. Once I moved in there were many items overlooked like garage door opener not install, trim not nailed or painted, However with the minor issues I encountered everyone from the sales office staff to groundskeeper to construction manager has been very responsive and helpful in resolving any concerns.

Great neighborhood, easy buying process and quick move in. Love my new home.
