There are lot of issues which was reported before the closing during the final walkthrough. It is almost one and half month and all issues are still not resolved. Basic Fixture which every builders provides (Towel rail in bath, Outside bell...) are not part of LGI homes fixture which is very strange.

The sales persons was on point and very open and communicated on time ....the mortgage team was on point and very helpfull.....

Beautiful homes, builder needs to use better wood for fence, first day both side fences poorly put together. I found myself redoing fences second day. But the house itself is a Gem.

There were quite a lot of issues found during the 3rd party inspection that I paid for just before the final walk through. The builder was very responsive and fixed most of the issues. Just on the day of the closing, builder found issue with condensation of the refrigerator and water puddles in the front porch due to the slope of the concrete walk way not being away from the house (foundation). Builder had to relay the concrete after closing and get the refrigerator issue fixed. A lot of co-ordination was required to get this done (especially after closing and for a remote buyer).

Our salesman “Bo” did a great job keeping us updated on the progress of the build. We could text him and he would answer any questions or concerns we had.

I love the layout of our house but the experience hasn’t been the best and the construction is sloppy. To start off, our closing date was delayed multiple times and each time we were notified days before the date scheduled. Each time being told they want our house to be “perfect.” We were then given our house and off the bat were told the trim quality wouldn’t be the best, our stove was damaged and we didn’t have gutters yet. As we moved in we started finding more issues and noticed how sloppy of a job was done. There are dents and what looks like covered holes throughout. The walls have chunks of plaster I think that weren’t smoothed out and paint all over the floors and carpets. All minor stuff that can be fixed, but super disappointing I’m going to have to fix it myself when this is brand new construction. I submitted work orders for bigger issues found, it’s been almost a month and I’ve only heard from the person I assume manages the work orders just checking in and no one else. Who knows when or if this stuff will get fixed, fingers crossed. Also, still don’t have gutters and still have a damaged stove, never heard back on that either. Experience was rough but my Agent was awesome. He helped me through the long and demanding process.

Great location and well organized

The process of buying the house was some what simple. I did have an issue with my realtor getting her share but everything got resolved. Once I did my walk through I did notice that did builders did a sloppy work and everything look like it was rush. When I was coming to see the house before it was done I noticed on the ceiling outside there was a whole and I brought it up to the attention of my salesman but later on when I did the walk through the whole was still there. The fix it with caulking. Which I’m not satisfied about it. Also noticed two crack on my ceiling in my living room going across the house. They came and fix it in a week but only fix one. Two weeks later the came and fix the rest. Also when doing the walk through I could tell the guy from LGI was getting annoyed of all the things that I was pointing out but painting and Sheetrock was sloppy work. After all this it took over a months to get everything fix and painted. That is also including a whole on my bathtub that had to get patch. Now that it have been a month of living there my water heater has gone out and I do not have hot water. It’s been hard to get in touch with people to talk to things get things done. Even to log in to the warranty page I still have not been able to do that. I’ve followed the instructions on the page but nothing seems to work I’ve email and talk to the manager and project manager and still can’t get in. The overall build of the home is good. It’s the sales team that you need to be aware of. They will tell you what you want to hear to get you to buy the house. So make sure that whatever they tell you is in writing. If it’s not don’t believe them.

PROs Angie went above and beyond what I would have expected ANY agent to do. I would recommend her to my grandmother. Raymond was extremely fast and very responsive to all issues that came up during the closing process to ensure we were able to close on time. CONs To start they zoned the lot and house we originally bought for the wrong house and could not change it, in an attempt to fix the issue they offered us a different lot for same price but closing would be pushed back 6 months. We scheduled our closing and 3 days before closing they informed us they moved the closing date because they don’t do closings for the first 3 days of the months. For the last month before closing nothing was done to fix issues on the house which lead to work being done while we were moving in our belongings. In the first week after closing we had the master bathtub clogged because there were nails and plumbers putty stuck in the drain and there was a broken wire in the wall which caused half the lights in the master bedroom not to work. ... We had an overall positive experience with purchasing our first home. It was a good learning experience. LGI was great to work with and answered questions quickly.

Over all experience good but little bit more transparency and communication could have been better..

Rates are changing so rapidly even after we agreed for a rate verbally.

Sinking front yard. Peeling roof. Doors that don’t latc shut. A stained carpet. Chipped back patio concrete. Wood floors that click because the foundation underneath is not level. I could go on and on. The worst part is just getting ahold of someone. We’ve been here two months. Can’t wait to move.

Start to closing LGI was great. The LGI team did everything possible to get us in our new home

Sales experience was great! Alot of work in the house was sloppy and the sheet rock on the walls are already cracking only been there a month not kool!

Don't purchase a home from LGI we/ others has had some many problems...go to TRUE Homes i will not recommend no body to LGI

Everything about LGI homes are bad. Buyer beware. I am aware that I bought a $200k home and not a $400k home but this is more of a $100k home. I have seen newt model modular homes built with better quality materials than my new construction LGI home. After 1 month in my new home, I am preparing to sale by the end of this year. I will never buy another LGI home.
