LGI Homes - There are several things that need to be fixed, if not fixed

There are several things that need to be fixed, if not fixed then replaced. There are several places that need paint touch up and all were noted when we did our walk through and as if today, Jan 5, 2021, the only thing replaced were the 4 fence boards.

The speed to close in spite of issues.

Do not close on the house if there are known issues. On the walk-through, I was promised that the issues will be addressed before the closing. Unfortunately not. And severely lacking in response to my repeated requests to fix known issues.

When we visited LGI they were huge in talking about their workmanship and how they build quality. Let me tell you that is not the case they have poor workmanship and the quality of work is poor and when you ask for it to get fixed they say that is the way it’s suppose to be. Make sure to take the time to do your walk thru as the home has so many issues before you get there. Then do it again because they don’t fix them. When they do they have a bad attitude like you have issues. I do love my home but we decide next time we will not buy LGI

Poor construction quality, too many issues in the houses, poor systems to track and close defects

In Texas, LGI has been building and selling homes at a breakneck pace. The quality control is poor. The home was handed over to me when the work was not complete. There have been over 15 issues that I reported, including a couple of significant defects found by the home inspector that I hired. After a month. some of these have not been addressed yet. The staff onsite is very nice but they have been placed in a situation where too many homes have too many issues for them to track and fix.

New house with a lot issues

Unfortunately the dream of my family was to buy a new house to prevent problems for a long time, but the quality of the material and the quality of the work that the builders did is super bad, parts are shutting many holes in the walls that are appearing out of nowhere, the patio is not even with many holes because they did not level it properly, and there are many more and I am still waiting for an answer to correct them,The door that connects the kitchen to the garage was peeling off the hinge and more

We waited for 4 1/2 hours to sign paperwork because they had wrong information; their fault not ours. Repairs needed on the inside of the house, no communication and people don’t keep their appointments and don’t have the courtesy to contact us to say they are running late or not showing up at all!! I will not recommend LGI homes. Leaving messages with LGI contact go unanswered! VERY disappointed! Like a car salesman, they sell you the car then forget you.
