As a new homeowner I felt completely overwhelmed in searching for a home. The chaos of that experience ended with walking into LGI homes. My sales person kept me in the loop on every single thing and even answered my off the wall questions with ease and understanding. He called me every Thursday with an update whether it was good news or bad news on the process of the build. This was so necessary for my peace of mind as I was in a lease before closing in my home. From beginning to closing day the process was simple. We're first time buyers with maybe average credit and I don't think it could've went any smoother. The sales team works to get you approved. I highly recommend especially to first time buyers.

I was so excited to move into my new home; however, the craftsmanship is noticeably subpar. The paint job has been the biggest eyesore (missing paint as well as dripping paint in spots). There were also issues with a hole in one shower that was pitifully patched in an effort to hide it from the buyer which was very disconcerting and missing trim work that needed to be addressed during the final walk through. The house will hopefully be what I thought it would be, but not without my efforts to fix things that shouldn’t have been a problem from the get go.

The entrance of the urbanization is in poor condition the common area is ugly. And we found some problems in the painting of the house.

Sinking front yard. Peeling roof. Doors that don’t latc shut. A stained carpet. Chipped back patio concrete. Wood floors that click because the foundation underneath is not level. I could go on and on. The worst part is just getting ahold of someone. We’ve been here two months. Can’t wait to move.

Chris, our sales rep was awful and untruthful throughout the buying process. It really made me question or decision to buy an LGI home. Our lender Dora was unresponsive and hard to get answers from. We were pretty much in the dark for most of the home buying process.

Bad quality on house.

Horrible experience. Was told we would for sure close in may but never happened as they informed me they could not connect power to house and it would take another 2 weeks. I called the superintendent of the electric company and they had power the next day. Once moved in the painter they hired did some of the worst job I have seen. I have family that own painting companies and they inspected it and informed me that this was shotty work. Paint spots on floor in bathrooms and you can see the drywall tape splitting in some areas. The home is great. The problem is that there were things wrong with the home and when I ask when these things will be fixed I get " we will get it taken care of." then nothing. no call back no email saying this is where we are at and this will be resolved. NOTHING. Been going on for a month now...
