Tony (Sales Rep.) and Bart (Builder) were always very professional and helpful making the buying and building experience painless. I used the Contingency Program that was in place and that worked out great. I was able to move straight from the home that I sold into my new home seamlessly.

I had a great experience with the building process. Building a home was stressful due to market trends, delays, and other things outside of Pacesetters control. Despite that I was never left in the dark. Information was communicated to me clearly and regularly. I really appreciate that since this is my first time buying a home, much less building one! I am grateful for Tina and Sergio’s professionalism throughout the process and even to this day, just checking in every once in a while to make sure I’m happy in my home. Overall, a great experience. They were helpful and responsive and did things for us that other builders likely would not have. My complaints below are not very different from the complaints I had the last time I used a new home builder. At the pre-construction meeting, the representative did not explain the options very well. For example, our floor plan came with a number of network drops but he sat there listening to my wife and I argue about how many drops we wanted without telling us that. In another instance, an option we chose included an additional light switch. After we moved in, we realized that and felt that another switch should have been added as well. A discussion of the first switch would've led us to add the second one. Finally, there was no discussion about where on the lot the house would be positioned. By the time I remembered it from my previous home building experience, the forms had already been built. Fortunately, they put it where I would have put it but it disturbed me that they made that call without asking me. All their subcontractors did a top-notch job except the electrician. Not only did he not appear to be following the blueprints, but he didn't even exercise common sense. In the most glaring example, Pacesetter was kind enough to have agreed to move a door from one wall to another in a particular room. The electrician walked into that room and even though he installs light switches next to doors all day long every day, he ran the switches in that room onto the wall where the door used to be. Unbelievable! Fortunately, I know just enough about electric wiring that I was able to alert the construction manager to his mistakes and get them fixed. I'm confident Pacesetter would've found those eventually but I'm glad I didn't have to take that chance. Lastly, Pacesetter outsources the warranty on your home. If there's anything wrong, you have to call that other company. That company requires you to register your appliances so you get a manufacturer's warranty and thus if the problem you're having involves an appliance, you have to contact the manufacturer. It all ends up the same but you have to do all the legwork. For example, my oven would turn on but not heat. I had to call Whirlpool and it took more than a week for them to send a repairman. He discovered that the problem was with the home's wiring. So I had to go back to the warranty company who then sent someone out to fix the wiring. It took nearly a month to get it fixed. ... More

Nice home. Not too willing to work with you on changes but I think that is the way with all production builders. Quality of house is good and have been very responsive to any problems I had after I moved in.

DJ (sales rep) and Anthony (construction manager) were great to work with- professional, knowledgeable, reliable. Overall my experience was very positive and would recommend Pacesetter. High integrity company and will work to fix any problems that arise.

Pacesetter (through onsite agent and construction lead) keeps their customers up to date with the construction progress. I really look forward to the weekly progress update call.

Have a plan book for the owner. Outline task, provide doc with selections . Listen to hone owner.

The process was great the only negative is we are starting to see some flaws in the workmanship. Several door hinges are missing screws all throughout the whole house. Drawers fronts are coming loose.

Tina and Rueben helped me with entire home buying process with Paceseetter and made it easy. Tina was always available to answer questions and address any concerns with Reuben if needed, I appreciate their professionalism throughout the entire process.

As a first time homebuyer pays sitter made a real easy for me too buy a home. My sales rep was really informational knew the area and was very responsive for when I bought a home that he was still there tell me out in anyway shape or form and has made it my number option, thank you. PS they also made a real easy for a military member to find his first home.

I had a overall wonderful experience with Roger, Jared and rest of pacesetter team.

We are happy to choose Saddelcreek as our developer for our primary residence. There were many back-and-forth situations regarding the quality of the home but finally, we managed to close it. If I have to give one recommendation, then it would be to carefully choose GC who has not only total control over quality but also commitment to deliver as per the agreement.

I had some issues within a week of moving but no answer. Window leaking air inside. pro home never responded our 30 days request.

A bunch of stuff was wrong or missing when I moved in months ago. Promises to fix it were not followed through.

Construction quality is below par. paint on exterior had orange peel. AC vents were crooked. Switches were mounted crooked. Exhaust Vent wasn't mounted until weeks after moving. Overall very low quality of build

This was my first home purchase and Greg and Gabe did an excellent job representing everyone that had a hand in building my home. They were extremely responsive, both in time and thoroughness, to all concerns I brought up, which really boosts my confidence in the final state and integrity of my house.

I purchased the home as finished by the builder. It's nice, and I'm happy with my purchase. Just a few things could have made it more perfect ... like putting ceiling fans in all the bedrooms; putting soft close hinges on the cabinets; using a windowed front door to illuminate the foyer; noting where two roof eves came together and putting a gutter in that area to prevent what became a river from the roof during rainstorms. Also finishing out the patio to match the end of the house wouldn't have cost that much more to do if done at the same time as pouring the rest of the patio. These are things that were noticed shortly upon moving in, and were remedied but at a cost to me that was certainly above what would have cost the builder. My only other issue, and this is entirely my error in reviewing the sales information, is that the community does not include a pool. Comparing the cost of the HOA dues to other houses I considered, I certainly don't see the benefit of the higher HOA dues if there are no community amenities. Not much I can do about that now and frankly, I may not have chosen this community if I had paid attention. I will make the best of it however. Perhaps it sounds like I'm griping, but that is not my intent. The house is just the right size for us, and we are happy here. In time I hope to get to know more of my neighbors and enjoy the community. ... More

My experience with pay center homes was great. From day one Stephanie was. Full of great information. Sherri was also great. And my loan officer was also great. All the ladies were very, very professional. And very on top of what they were doing to get me in my home. Overall, I had a great experience buying my homes.

The staff was exceptional. Everyone was very attentive and timely. Unfortunately, this caused me to overlook some of the home's aesthetics. Many areas just seem to have been forgotten. Between Trim on the flooring not lining up properly, wholes near fixtures where they cut out too much drywall, and the backyard having cut wires, drywall, and roof shingles, there were a lot of areas that just didn't get the level of care and detail that you would expect from a new home. Overall, I am happy to have a place to call my own, and will take my time to make the improvements I care to put in.

Salesman Bob very responsive, helpful and available. Nice architectural features. Nice floor plans and curb appeal. Very poor selection of interior finishes (cabinets, counters, tile etc).

Working with Garrett again was great! The buying process as a whole went pretty smooth. We worked with Anthony and Jay and both were great with helping with issues that came up. The quality of the build left a lot to be desired though. Specifically in certain areas it seems things were rushed and not taken care of in the best way possible. Overall we are pleased, but we wish much of the workmanship was better.
