Poor Experience

Poor communication, long delays, bad workmanship, not taking responsibility/ownership of the work done, not responsive, not taking action/being pro active of fixing mistakes. Good sales company but not standing behind their words.

Worst experience ever

Pacesetter has been the worst with communication and follow up. Nothing was repaired from the walk throughs. We had little communication during the build process and the communication we did get was all lies. The home was always filthy during the build and they showed little pride in the quality of their work. After close we contracted the Build Manager over the area and did our 30 day walk through with him. Was told he would take care of scheduling all repairs and ensured a 3 week turnaround at most. It has been 5 weeks and we have reached out to him and our ProHome Manager. Only the ProHome ...

Grateful for the home, very difficult experience getting here.

The home has turned out very beautifully, though there are lots of little things that clearly were not paid close attention to-- pieces of trim not painted, spots where wall patching was very clearly patched, etc. But, the most difficult part of the process was the waiting. COVID and shipping delays likely played a role, but we were put off for 8 months while other builders were keeping up, were told it was all the fault of different third parties, received no clarification on timing, and when I asked for more frequent and thorough updates, I was told I was "one of many." Not a great look ...

we bought 2 houses with pacesetter. 3 days after moving we found out we had water leak. so we had to go our old house and stay for 3 days because the plumbing company wouldn't work on the weekend. we start to beg the plumbing company just to come and fix the water leak. finally after digging all my front yard and destroying the sod. they fixed it. we kept calling prohomes to get the sod fixed and guess what, after 1 month they came in and patched it up. it was a horrible job. even Prohomes (warranty company) said that wasn't a good job. Luckily i had another house to go to when the ...

Jorge and Jason(no longer with company) we’re very professional and great to work with. Once Jason left the new superintendent was a total nightmare.

My experience with was great until Jason was replaced by the new superintendent. I would love for someone to contact me concerning this matter. Jorge and Jason were great to work with and ultimately helped me with moving with pacesetters

Pacesetter Homes Texas - Home took 7 months longer than expected.

Home took 7 months longer than expected. We went through 3 different builders since we started building. We had to have the binder go back and fix a lot of things in final walk through because it was poorly done in the first place IE. back splash, a lot of calking, cabinets, trim ect. The communication was lacking through the whole process. There are still things needing to be fixed even after we closed.

So many issues

Home was not finished when we closed and since closing getting them to come back is dependent upon their home warranty company. Pro home representative is very difficult to get a response from. We’ve been calling and emailing them for over 2 weeks just to get on the schedule. We’ve had more issues with this house in 3 months than we did with our last one in 20 years. We love the neighborhood and the layout of the house but their follow through is not good.

The worst experience I’ve ever had

If I would have known a year and a half ago what I would have gone through building this house with Pacesetter I would have run for the hills. Communication was abysmal throughout the entire process. We were given so much lip service and gauge information before our home was finally closed on. We had multiple issues after we closed that was promised to be taken care of. It took multiple angry phone calls to multiple people in order to get things fixed because we were blown off each time we asked about when the repairs would be done. For a brand new expensive home the semi finished product was ...
