We had an excellent experience building with Pacesetter homes. Our salesperson Teri was great to work with, made sure we were informed about the process during design, construction, and closing. She provided timely and knowledgeable updates as our home was constructed. Steve the Pacesetter builder was always prepared, diligent in the execution of the build, and delivered a really great home for our family. We would not change a thing about the process or our beautiful home. Great company and great product.

We had look at Pacesetter home a year and half before we purchased. We purchased a motorhome and traveled the US highways. When it was time to buy a new home we only looked at Pacesetter. We had had a number of new build homes in the past and new good builders from great builders. Pacesetter is a great choice for new home purchas.

To make sure they check the size of the kitchen. Drawers are scarce and storage can be challenging. Stove is not practical. Cannot fit four pans at a time. .definitely pay for an upgrade for stove/oven. Rooms are small. A foot or two bigger would make a huge the difference.

My wife and I had a wonderful home buying experience with pacesetters homes. Teri was very knowledgeable in the home buying process and was able to walk us through the process with ease. Also, she gave us great ideas and helped us to get things done before we moved into our home. The builder Steve was also a great person to work with. Steve, did what he said he was going to do and followed through to make sure it was done before and after we moved in. If we went through this process again we would definitely consider a pacesetter home.

Tony (Sales Rep.) and Bart (Builder) were always very professional and helpful making the buying and building experience painless. I used the Contingency Program that was in place and that worked out great. I was able to move straight from the home that I sold into my new home seamlessly.

The process was great the only negative is we are starting to see some flaws in the workmanship. Several door hinges are missing screws all throughout the whole house. Drawers fronts are coming loose.

Overall, a great experience. They were helpful and responsive and did things for us that other builders likely would not have. My complaints below are not very different from the complaints I had the last time I used a new home builder. At the pre-construction meeting, the representative did not explain the options very well. For example, our floor plan came with a number of network drops but he sat there listening to my wife and I argue about how many drops we wanted without telling us that. In another instance, an option we chose included an additional light switch. After we moved in, we realized that and felt that another switch should have been added as well. A discussion of the first switch would've led us to add the second one. Finally, there was no discussion about where on the lot the house would be positioned. By the time I remembered it from my previous home building experience, the forms had already been built. Fortunately, they put it where I would have put it but it disturbed me that they made that call without asking me. All their subcontractors did a top-notch job except the electrician. Not only did he not appear to be following the blueprints, but he didn't even exercise common sense. In the most glaring example, Pacesetter was kind enough to have agreed to move a door from one wall to another in a particular room. The electrician walked into that room and even though he installs light switches next to doors all day long every day, he ran the switches in that room onto the wall where the door used to be. Unbelievable! Fortunately, I know just enough about electric wiring that I was able to alert the construction manager to his mistakes and get them fixed. I'm confident Pacesetter would've found those eventually but I'm glad I didn't have to take that chance. Lastly, Pacesetter outsources the warranty on your home. If there's anything wrong, you have to call that other company. That company requires you to register your appliances so you get a manufacturer's warranty and thus if the problem you're having involves an appliance, you have to contact the manufacturer. It all ends up the same but you have to do all the legwork. For example, my oven would turn on but not heat. I had to call Whirlpool and it took more than a week for them to send a repairman. He discovered that the problem was with the home's wiring. So I had to go back to the warranty company who then sent someone out to fix the wiring. It took nearly a month to get it fixed. ... More

Nice home. Not too willing to work with you on changes but I think that is the way with all production builders. Quality of house is good and have been very responsive to any problems I had after I moved in.

Sales Manager Barbara is very experienced, kind, helpful and very responsive. Exactly know what a buyer wants and helps them through out the buying process. She is a great employee, highly recommend her for new buyers

I had a overall wonderful experience with Roger, Jared and rest of pacesetter team.

I had some issues within a week of moving but no answer. Window leaking air inside. pro home never responded our 30 days request.

Construction quality is below par. paint on exterior had orange peel. AC vents were crooked. Switches were mounted crooked. Exhaust Vent wasn't mounted until weeks after moving. Overall very low quality of build

Our experience was a long 18 months Mt waiting but at the end it was worth the wait. The quality of the build and the constant communication and updates from our home specialist made it easier. They did an excellent job and we couldn’t be happier!

My experience with pay center homes was great. From day one Stephanie was. Full of great information. Sherri was also great. And my loan officer was also great. All the ladies were very, very professional. And very on top of what they were doing to get me in my home. Overall, I had a great experience buying my homes.

The staff was exceptional. Everyone was very attentive and timely. Unfortunately, this caused me to overlook some of the home's aesthetics. Many areas just seem to have been forgotten. Between Trim on the flooring not lining up properly, wholes near fixtures where they cut out too much drywall, and the backyard having cut wires, drywall, and roof shingles, there were a lot of areas that just didn't get the level of care and detail that you would expect from a new home. Overall, I am happy to have a place to call my own, and will take my time to make the improvements I care to put in.

Salesman Bob very responsive, helpful and available. Nice architectural features. Nice floor plans and curb appeal. Very poor selection of interior finishes (cabinets, counters, tile etc).

While we didn't go the normal approach of picking a lot and starting the building process from scratch, we had a pleasant experience during the purchasing process with Pacesetter. 3 months into our home and I would say that everything is going great. The only knock I would have would be that the quality of some materials such as paint, fixtures, etc. are adequate and wouldn't consider high quality. In addition the workmanship was definitely not 100%. I would say the team got the basics completed but couldn't get that last 10% of quality into their build.

It took over a year to have my home built, even though other homes that started the building process after mine closed before me. I closed 11/23/21 and still have outstanding issues which have yet to be addressed. A date was set on 2/16/22 for ALL issues to be resolved and 4 have yet to be completed. One of which is a hole in the siding outside above my garage. I’ve had numerous electrical issues with breakers tripping that is a huge concern. The most recent being the microwave which has been submitted to the Pro Home folks. Stay tuned…

The builders and office support staff communicate regularly.

We bought home from pace setter and closed with in one month. It was almost ready built and some one backed out seems. the closing experience was great and quality of construction also good and however builder manager failed to educate us and address minor issue found in third party inspection. The response was not so great , may be I am not little Patient. But I waited almost couple of weeks.
