Overall happy. However, some disappointments. Wire in Master not grounded which was very scary, used some cheap materials to do things especially for a homeowner who upgraded most everything.

Overall it was great experience. Everyone in Pulte from sales , construction manager, mortgage etc was very helpful. However I could see some minor issues in new built and customer service is also slow to respond.

This entire experience has been horrible and I wish I never purchased my home from Pulte. Not only was there delay after delay, The sales person was disappointing, I went through three construction managers and I am fighting to get items fixed. I’m passed from person to person, don’t get correct information, trades don’t show, the wrong trades come, and documentation is not submitted correctly. I do have a very complicated schedule as I travel and the one positive has been that if I had to travel and trades were scheduled, they did reschedule quickly. I am very upset at what happened at closing. Up to this point had a great experience with everyone that we had encountered. WE did the walkthrough and labeled A LOT of things with blue tape. Supervisor asked us not to take the survey until he had a chance to fix the things that were tagged. Went to sign paperwork and came back to check on the status of the repairs. Nothing had been worked on but all of the tape was off. Called our realtor and she called the supervisor who told her that he was in the house while repairs were made, and it clearly was not. He also told her that the rest would be done the next day. We got our keys and had a painter lined up so we can paint the colors we wanted and start moving in. Painter refused to work because the quality of what was left was horrible. I was extremely upset so I called the emergency number and spoke to a very nice lady that emailed the supervisor and his boss also about all of the issues. I also sent her many pictures to show her what I was dealing with. Miraculously all of a sudden contractors were brought to the house to complete work that should have been done in the 5 days between the first walkthrough and the signing of the documents. The supervisor reached out to me again and asked me not to take the survey until all repairs were made the correct way. His only concern was the survey, and I was left wondering if that is his concern why didn't the items get taken care of the first time around? ... More

Was very easy for us as everything fell into place perfectly.

The home we bought was to be completed between Jan. and April with Feb as their goal. We closed June 12th. The interior of our brand new home was really dirty. We found shoddy workmanship everywhere we looked. There are holes in cabinets that expose the insulation. A week before our close we were at the property and heard a bulldozer hit our AC Unit. It knocked it off it's foundation and slammed it against the house. It was dented all over. We called and complained and we were told they would take care of everything. All they did was replace the dented exterior. The unit turns on with a very loud BANG!! We have complained and requested service but we have not been contacted yet? Our $26,000. tile floor that we couldn't wait to see had adhesive tape glue that was left from the painter's throughout the entire house. We were told over and over that they were going to do an acid cleaning before we took possession. There was no cleaning! I spent 4 days on my hands and knees cleaning it with Goo Gone and I'm 66 years old! It's starting to re-appear as we walk on it. This is our forever house. Our Retirement house. Our last house. We decided to purchase a home from Pulte due to its great quality and design. We are glad and proud to be a Pulte home owner!

Several outstanding items during closing were not taken care of. Paint splatter everywhere, chunks of caulking on base boards that were painted over. Missed caulking areas. Even the homes to both sides of us still had blue tape on them after closing. Do not buy from here if you are looking for quality.

After two months since COE, some items are still not addressed or fixed. The appointments have been re-scheduled for 2 or 3 times.

Working with Keith, construction manager, made the full process easier. He communicated well through the full process.

Things are great until you get the keys, then you start finding issues which will take them forever to resolve. Maake sure to resolve all issues BEFORE you take possession. You have been warned.

Brian was very thorough and detailed at all of our walk throughs. He was on time, explained all warranties and made us feel welcomed. Our overall experience was great and Brian made it even better!

They deleted my original review because I used a fitting expletive to accurately describe this company, and I’m not going to retype it. The short version is that dishonest, scumbag practice pervaded the entire experience of purchasing from Pulte, and there are plenty of better builders to get a house from. Pulte’s people will outright lie to your face about costs and fees, so you’re blinded sided with thousands of dollars in surprise fees two days before the close date, when you can’t back out without losing the earnest payment. This company simply cannot be trusted.

The compartment for the fridge is smaller than standard size at 35 inches instead of 39 inches. Several of the home buyers have had to remove baseboard to make it fit. Pulte does not seem to care. The drywall taping and texture are horrible. You can see joints in the drywall and texture patterns vary throughout the house. Some texture looks like poorly done patches. Skilled trades are extinct these days. Other neighbors have it much worse.

The home itself is a quality build with great attention to detail. Slab, framing and roof are just about perfect. Besides a circuit breaker tripping repeatedly, electrical works flawlessly. AC unit is state of the art and cools perfectly. Our salesperson was wonderful guiding us along every step of the way. We were texted pictures at important milestones and even went to great lengths to suggest extras that we are glad were included. But when it came to the final details inside, things seemed rushed. Doors not fitting correctly and some were swelled from getting wet. A switch in cabinet vendors last minute created scratched doors, misaligned drawers and missing shelves. Perhaps product shortages created this situation but should not have occurred. Our warranty covers these issues and some are expected but many were just poor attention to the final details. Minor repairs seem to take forever but they are being completed as promised. All things considered a very pleasant experience with the important components of our home being a quality build. Would we build with them again? Yes, but we would be more picky about the details inside the home. ... More

Too many issues with poor workmanship to give Pulte a good review. Many issues easily avoidable, but grossly mismanaged. The trades working for Pulte have questionable experience and skill.

The house is great, the construction process of having 4 inspectors ( city, third party, contractors ( pulte and independent) have to check off on all the major and minor details made a difference. We also got to take photos and visited the home site often enough to make sure no major mistakes were done and none was found, but a few minor mistakes were noticed and the pulte contractor had already identified them. Pulte is family. They pride themselves on making sure you are a little sis or brother. Taking care of every need even if that means finding answers to any question in this entire process. We love Pulte. Pulte for Life!

Sloppy work/ poor craftsmanship. It feels and looks very rushed. There are holes in walls that we are finding in random places that were missed during walk through, globs of paint everywhere on the walls even after pointing out and fixing over 50 during walk through, uneven cabinets etc. They also have an awful warranty. Flooring isn't even covered! We have only been in our home 2 months and the floor is already coming up and they are saying it’s not covered under warranty.

We had a very short time frame to find our new home and that came true at Copperleaf with Pulte Homes. While we bought a spec and knew we would not be able to customize completely, because of Pulte's quality and already incredible quality, "out-of-the-box" was 95% of where we wanted to be. We also had a deadline to move and while not promised, our construction manager, salesperson and the Pulte team made it happen. Since moving in, the team has continued to support and respond quickly to any questions or issues (very few) we have had. I received good discount and incentives for purchasing this property. I was not going to be in-town for the final closing. Pulte worked with me to provide options.

From start to finish, the process was awesome. Always available to answer any questions or concerns. Most important, excited for you and to walk you thru the process. Just awesome!!

Too many delays. Bad trades and poor workmanship. Too unresponsive and slow in getting issues fixed after move in that should have been taken care of BEFORE move in.

Overall the finished house is well done. The construction manager was very helpful. A lot of work was initially done poorly (i.e. framing), but the construction manager was on top of things and got the issues quickly fixed. Unfortunately there is a significant design issue ... cabinet doors ability to open was not considered in framing design. Over half the cabinet doors will bang into a wall without fully opening. Not enough space was allowed to open fully. The worst is on our french door refrigerator one door can only be opened to just under 90 degrees. Since closing, working with the service department to get the minor things fixed has been challenging. For example, today a person was scheduled to come fix some of the issues. No time was provided. I have been at the house all day waiting. No one showed up. I called to check. Was told person would be here in an hour. That was 3 hours ago. This is our 3rd new Pulte house purchased over the past 40 years. Pulte still provides good value, however, it appears some quality has been sacrificed to keep the price down. ... More
