Pulte Homes Reviews in Phoenix Mesa, AZ

There were 6 square feet of shingles missing, irrigation system leak, AC air leak in the attic, and wiring issues in the ceiling fan and pendant light prewires. So I can't help but wonder if there are hidden issues elsewhere in the house. I understand that building a house is a very involved operation, and requires a lot of different crews to coordinate together. So some problems are expected. But I can't give 5 stars to something with these types of problems. Otherwise, the house SEEMS to be well built. But hire a good home inspector to make sure everything is like it should be.

I have had two other brand new house build. The only complaint I have are the windows. All of them are cut on the frame and the edges are rough. That to me is just not right. It’s like you made them fit instead of purchasing them to fit. I have spoke with Lane a nice gentlemen for sure. But that truly bothers me! I recently sold my 4300 sq ft house in Goodyear my husband passed away to much house. I had looked at several homes. Always wanted a home builder by your company. Pulte has been a great experience so far. I was also apprehensive about various builders and the whole ordeal of buying a house. But, right from the start it was an easy experience with Pulte, may be my sales consultant Jeff and Construction Manager Keith made it easy or I was lucky to have them. Both of them went above and beyond answering calls or text out of business hours and keeping me updated on the progress of the build. Understood we ran in to extended times due to materials arriving late due to COVID supply chain issue etc. I was surprised to see how easy it is If you are prepared with few things like Loan Pre-approval, your own docs ready it is not a big deal to buy a house as I thought. Great Mortgage experience, great construction team, especially Jennifer, our overseer of construction. I wasn't able to come to see the home as it was being built due to my husband being disabled, so Jennifer kept me posted all the way with Photos!

Disappointment with lack of response to post closing issues that are still outstanding with no promise to address

Overall I had a good pleasant experience dealing with Pulte team. All the representatives from various departments were helpful and prompt. I received regular updates during construction time with photos. Loan process was also pretty smooth. I feel that in the end things were rushed to deliver the home. Tiles were not cleaned properly and some other minor things that should have been taken care.

Great home for my first home purchase

Overall gr8 experience. Regular weekly updates on the progress until closure helped us to plan better. Towards the closing, there was a huge rush to complete all the pending task, however did their best with some minor things pending to fix which happens in most of the closing. Kudos to their field Manager Andrey, who did his best to give the house in better shape with all the rush toward the closing to meet the timeliness. He is just few months old with Pulte and doing his best..I still have some minor things to take care, but I am sure they will take care. I completely recommend Pulte builders!! ... More

Everything has been good and we are enjoying our new home. We have a few things that we need to have fixed. One item in our house that I feel is not very good quality is the stainless steel sink in the kitchen. It wasn’t cheap to upgrade and the quality is not good. Seems very thin and scratches easily. Seems more like a builder grade and not an upgrade.

Overall the buying experience was great. We have been in the home since mid November and still waiting on some things to be taken care of. I understand with the holidays and covid its not easy but these things should've been taken xare of. Over all we love our home and can't wait to get it all organized and backyard done.

Very unhappy since I've moved in. Every one just dissappeared. Where is the construction manager??? I have emailed him at least 5x and I get no response. His name is James, did he get fired??? I called my sales person, Samantha and I get no response. I emailed John at the sales office also, no response from all three of these people!!! Who do I get in touch with for repairs. I have been trying to get in touch with James for at least 7 weeks now. I have a cabinet that has not been replaced since August!! Who do I call please!!!!!

The process of buying and building the home was very easy. The building supervisors kept me informed on the progress of my home during construction. All minor repairs were noted and repaired when we did the walk through.

I do not know how to answer the last question. JBHunt did not install the stove correctly, and the Corvid 19 has stopped repairs.

Pulte morgage got me into my home fast, really fast. They are great but some small thing like laundry door doesn't close and my linen and coat closet doors stick. They said the will fix them though which bring it back up in my mind anyways

More than Satisfied

Go over the floor plan layout with a fine tooth comb before you go to the design center. Sit with your sales rep to go over every single detail. Do not assume anything. The model may not exactly represent every feature of the home you are having built. .

Construction manager was incredibly involved in the construction process and always available to discuss open issues and their resolution. Couldn’t ask for a better intermediary throughout the process. Morten, on the front end, was also very responsive and professional. Great experience overall.

Some of the paint work outside of the home requires touch ups. The front yard rock is patchy and sparse.

Attention to detail was lacking in a number of areas. Expected a better ‘initial’ condition of the house. Things took longer than expected to resolve.

Please note I had not Responded to any of the reviews you asked for the review for the completion of the home. Because I'm still waiting for the list of items I still need corrected! or adjusted it's been 3 weeks we provide a list of 5 item's. Since then I have 2 additional item's need fixing. I realize Pulte is working on completely all these new home on my track and the field manager's have dead lines. These might be small matters to Pulte but to a new home owner it matters.
