This is our 4th new build home and unfortunately this experience did not live up to our standards or what we have experienced in the past. You can blame Covid-19 on this as well. From having to bid on a lot and not getting straight answers that would better equip us on the bidding wars to the very end where we ended up doing our own cleaning of our stove vent. This could’ve been better in so many ways. Sadly we did not get the house we wanted, nonetheless we will be happy with our home.

The overall experience from beginning and during the process was good and continuous two-way communication.

We chose Pulte because of its reputation as a top-notch homebuilder and they didn't disappoint. From the design and sales team to the field construction team the process has been amazingly detailed. Everything has turned just how we pictured it if not even better. The Pulte team really cares that you are happy and satisfied with the finished product. Our construction field supervisor Tony has gone above and beyond to provide the best home buying experience especially as we got closer and closer to closing. He did a couple of walkthroughs in the field with us and made sure we understood everything that was being done during construction and what was coming up along with time-frames. Our house was the last one set to close in 2021 and we needed to be out of our current living situation by the 31st of Dec. Even with material shortages with the supply chain and a few rainy days that slowed things down, Tony still pulled everything together to make sure we closed before the end of the year. He also continues to help us with any minor issues that have come up since we've moved in to make sure we're happy with every aspect of our purchase. The home is built quality.

We do love our home, but since moving in we have noticed numerous examples of poor workmanship. We have found drywall with tape over holes and painted/textured over. Chips in our 30k tile floor, debris on windows. We have been patiently waiting for replacement cabinet doors on a few that were scuffed/damaged or not stained properly. We have been patiently waiting for the refrigerator we have ordered. Paint missing on the exterior in a few places. Overall- the purchase/design/finance and construction of our home was good- delays aside which appeared normal given the current market. But to walk into a home, not completely finished or cleaned was a little upsetting considering the additional wait for close. We understand the market being hectic and continue to be as patient and positive as we can, but with so many small issues or obvious coverups of drywall, Mis- alignment of ceiling rafters just being dry walled over.. it is hard to not be disappointed. ... The initial part of the build process with Pulte was enjoyable and low stress. Our sales and design consultants, as well as our construction field manager were friendly, professional, good communicators and efficient. However, at about the 6 month mark of the build process things started to change. The excuses (mostly blamed on COVID) piled on regarding delays and towards the end we felt like the home was being rushed to completion so that upper management could fill their end of year sales quotas and get their bonuses. Our home was closed incomplete... no screens, missing shelves, hardware and paint as well as lots of cosmetic defects. Some homes on our street are still missing mirrors, counter tops etc. Our field manager tried his hardest to push things back, but his supervisor wouldn't allow or just didn't care. A month after close, things are slowly being addressed and repaired that should have been taken care of prior to closing. But this shouldn't be the case with a new build. I bought a model. I realize my home was not under warranty or that they werent going to do anything major to fix issues. However, even something basic- for example, as you go up the stairs, there is a big chunk out of the wall. How hard would it have been to fix it? Our fireplace doesn't work. A simple visit from the super would probably take care of it but no one would respond. Very disappointing. The toilet flushes can be heard downstairs like someone is hitting a sledgehammer. The sales office reps were great. That's why they get a better rating.

Construction managers are in trustworthy and the warranty department denies everything. No help. We have a half a million in an investment and was sold a Home that was incomplete with no working heater. Granite cracks and damaged shower and cabinets in the kitchen. We need someone who cares to make this right.

The house looks great but the built quality was really disappointing. It’s been almost three months and every week something is discovered broken, damage or not done properly. Whenever I get work crew scheduled they don’t bring the right tools because they weren’t told of the issues correctly which leads to several rescheduling. Carpets constantly comes apart all over the house, certain light fixtures don’t work at all. I can go on and on about issues I have been having after purchasing this new build. Unfortunately we moved it without things being complete. If we didn’t close we could have been pushed out of our home buying due to the equity in the new build that was so high due to the 13 month build time. We are left with appliances that were not selected, tile that is way uneven, no cabinet door, no screen doors, no grout in the pantry, grout in the kitchen that was stained during build by trades, carpet not secure, door hardware not complete or installed incorrectly, windows that were not cleaned and covered in materials, and the list continues. Waiting on a Michelle to call to start setting up times and dates to get it all corrected at this point. ... More

Very easy to work with from the purchase, design, construction and closing. I'm also finding the home is very energy efficient compared to my previous home. The also delivered on schedule despite all of the delays caused by the pandemic.

Great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Pulte Homes.

Not happy with the quality issues with plumbing and electrical. I feel for the price I paid I should enjoy my new house with no issues from the start.

We have been in the house for two months now and no one has come to fix the 15 issues we have sent to home warranty

The house has been great. If there is an issue Scott or the CAC have been quick to respond and come to a solution.

He was super communitive and informed us without fault

Could have been better in the mortgage application. Need to communicate effectively re temporary use of range hood. Different brand as specified on the contract.

One of the worst new home purchases maybe because of Covid-19? I went with Pulte because of the name. We are hoping our Pulte home will be a good one for our Family. Worst thing about this purchase was lack in communication from the builder and feeling pressure for us to meet deadlines Pulte imposed on us.Luckily Nick our contractor smoothed all our worries away helping every step of the way! He was capable, friendly and payed attention to detail. We were also fortunate to have a great team at Pulte mortgage. Sarah and Matt were always polite and professional. They really know their stuff. The design center was awesome too, never felt rushed or pushed into anything. Pulte doesn’t offer a lot of standard upgrades, so it can be very easy to spend a fortune.Our home turned out beautiful with the exceptional help of our design team, Finally , Bridget at PGP title was calm and helpful at such a high stress close. She went out of her way to make sure our signing of documents was simply. Thank you to all of you. As far as Pulte, they lacked in communication with us and the employees. When our closing date was postponed, the sales person nor Nick knew and were eagerly waiting to give us our keys.We were promised August- October closing, but didn’t till December. I felt like they were trying to sell the home out from under us. They had so many demands placed on us to close yet they could say and do whatever they wanted. It was stressful not knowing when to close on our old house. Lack of communication. Once moved in we noticed the agenda was to get the close and not deliver a perfect new home. One example is the garage door. It’s painted 2 different colors and I have to live like that until I have the time to request the paint team to come back. The blinds I paid extra for, had tiny holes in them and our kitchen cabinets, which were upgraded were hung wrong. You can see the dishes through the front cracks. If our lease wasn't up in our apartment we would not have signed to close. 2 months after the final walk through, we are still missing an electrical plate, we still have 1 wrong outlet in the laundry room that we need to plug in the freezer, a floor tile still has the color and brand printed on it, the bottom trim still has the color of the grout all over the trim and we still don't have the right thermostat in the house. I had such high hopes with the Pulte reputation.

The Pulte team was always very accommodating and helpful. Even in the midst of crazy shortages and higher than normal markets.

House closed on time.

The Pulte Team was exceptional and very responsive to questions. They listen and genuinely want home buyers to be excited and thrilled with their new home.

Pulte is very responsive up until they get your money. Poor workmanship and terrible customer service after closing. They are not responsive to the needs of their buyers. Need to go over the house with a fine-tooth comb and demand everything, no matter how small be repaired.

Field supervisor Lane was amazing! I was a first time home buyer and he really made all my stress go away. Kept me informed, very communicative through the entire process. It was a great first time home buying experience.
