Everything was great. Mortgage experience was mediocre

Pulte is an overall excellent builder which is why we’ve built twice with them. This home we built recently dipped slightly in the quality and workmanship and I believe it was due to the real estate industry in general being so overwhelmed. The contractors seemed rushed and in some cases appeared to not be a thorough. Several items on back order that we are still waiting on we’ll after we closed. This would not deter us from building with pulte again as their overall process and quality is excellent.

Site manager didn’t provide any photos of the house during the build process. Was “extra” helpful when we signed for the house because of a survey. Gave him a bad survey, so he quit taking our calls, emails, and text messages. If it wasn’t for the site manager, I would rate Pulte much, much higher!

It was an easy process, from the building to the mortgage everyone was responsive and helpful.

The build was on time and complete. Quality of workmanship was not perfect as revealed by my independent inspector. If the original workmen took as much pride in their work as the repair teams did, we would not have had to deal with so many repairs. But my home will be perfect in another few days. Thank you to my field manager for his follow-up and attention to detail.

Quality of work is okay, not great. Sloppy, no pride in workmanship. 50/50 on materials. Many were very cheap for the price we paid. Quality Control was basically none. Terrible. Responsiveness to issues, basically we got "ghosted". At 2 months from move-in, still many issues were not addressed. Word of trust to take care of things, doesn't exist. The only positive portion of this experience was the Loan Processing. Basically smooth, though communication was lacking, it was better than the rest of the process. At this point, we would not purchase another Pulte Home or recommend them. Too many issues that we personally should never had to have been part of. This house was by far "Ready to Move-In". Electrical, plumbing, and flooring issues were supposed to be fixed prior to closing on our home. We were assured everything was completed and ready for us to move in. We are having major electrical problems and plumbing issues since we moved in and they have not been addressed yet. We also have structural issues that have not been addressed. Garage company has yet to fix our garage doors. We closed in the beginning of January and as of March 3rd, nothing has been fixed. We have tried to reach out to our Field Manager and no response. The price/value of the home does not equal the price. We felt rushed to go to design before we were even sure about getting a mortgage. As the building process progressed, it would have been nice to change a few things. Design should go through options better. Products used are definitely lower quality and pride of workmanship lacking.

Great process and people from the sales side all the way to the construction!

Buyer beware - production building means you give up your rights for a quality built house!! Sub contractors used are at the bottom of the barrel because Pulte pays them so poorly so they can make more profits. Do your research before buying from Pulte.

Overall we had good experience. What we did not enjoy was the options we got to select in design center. Pulte definitely add more options as it gives way less to choose as compared to any other builder of this scale.

All the Pulte people I worked with were very helpful throughout the process. The homes are some of the best designed and well thought out of all the builders you can choose from in the Phoenix area.

Robert Really went above and beyond to remove all doubts we had in addition to any fixes/minor touch ups that were needed during the move in. That speaks volumes about the company's focus on customer expereince.

Working with our construction manager, Robert was great. He was kind and helpful. Once you are moved in, it seems that it takes a bit longer to get things addressed, but they get done.

Pulte Homes has good Customer Service after the home is completed. The people from the sales department to the design center made it an easy process. The few issues we had with the new home were taken care of in a timely manner. Upgrade offers made it an even better home!

Just not what I would have expected from a national builder. The house keeps us dry but that’s about all I can say about it. Very strange building techniques and materials. Very loud with outside noise. Cold and hot spots throughout. Exposed wires, etc. Just very poor effort overall. I would never recommend a Pulte home to anyone.

Overall happy with the home I purchased. The Pulte realtor was excellent. Moved in a little over a month ago and am constantly having Pulte come out to fix things. Feels as if they rushed through the building process. Definitely inspect the home multiple times before your warranty expires. Considering getting a professional inspection as well. Would buy again if the price was right.

The communication between the builders and the buyer was very poor! Simple problems could have been resolved with honest communication. I felt I was deceived many times throughout the building process. My issues were resolved, but only through a long and drawn out process. Very frustrating!
