Pulte Homes Reviews in Phoenix Mesa, AZ

After moving in we noticed the Drywall texturing on our home was extremely bad. You can see lines, holes, defects, and areas that was not finished or sanded, etc. To date, workers have spent 5 days of re-texturing and sanding. And now, 3 days so far, of painting our home and probably another 2 ti 3 days to finish painting Then, they need to send cleaning crew to clean as well as cleaning the air ducts due to ALL the dust that have accumulated. Pulte's Quality control should have caught this issues prior to move.

Covid has delayed everything in my experience with Pulte (is what I'm told) this year. I've lived in my home for 3 months & still have several workmanship issues that were notified by my overworked field manager & still haven't received notice from another rep whose supposed to schedule our appts to get these items fixed. It's caused significant delay in being able to unpack & things which need fixed after getting worse.

I would definitely buy and recommend Pulte to friends and family

We bought a Pulte home in 2007. Loved it and still own it. We just bought this new house and the quality difference is abismal. Cheap paint, cheap toilet seats, cheap electrical craftsmanship, cheap roofing attention to detail, ceiling fan bracket recessed over an inch in the ceiling keeping us from hanging the fan properly, cheap stucco, house was delivered dirty, rusting back view fence upon delivery, over tightened light switch plates keeping the switches from operating freely, bathroom door rubs on door frame, etc... for a house that we paid 352k on a 232k base model. The Pulte staffers are excellent however the workmanship is way below par.

This is our second new home through Pulte. So far, we have been happy with our purchase. Pulte does a good job building. The finish has left a few flaws, but we are certain Pulte will handle. My only concern is that the neighborhood should only have so many rentals, but have noticed that atleast six rentals surrounding my home. This should not have been allowed.

Overall a great experience; the sales staff kept us informed and let us know when the exact model was available on the lot size we’d been hoping for. Construction was completed on time and call backs for follow up items were prompt and/or reasonable.

Jon the builder told us if we have any issues to call him directly. Everytime we get a survey we miraculously hear from him. We had a variety of issues the first 3 days and not only did he not return our phone calls but he referred us to the customer service line and they told us he needs to fix the plumbing and contact him. My wife is 7 months pregnant and imagine our surprise when we couldn't shower or use the bathroom because the plumbing wasn't working and there wasn't any hot water. He had explicitly told us to contact him directly and we were ignored. We had previously purchased a brand new KB home and never had any of these issues for the 3 years we lived there. Makes us think not only was this house not built correctly, but it also wasn't inspected properly. We keep hearing the covid-19 excuse but what does that have to do with a properly built home. The whole process was top notch compared to other builders I have bought from.

We bought the Parklane home and the buying process was easy. The home came out beautifully and we couldn't be more happier. Our project manager was always available to answer any questions or concerns.

Customers service beyond expectations. OUTSTANDING

The pulte superintendent Ron took care of everything. We never even met him once until the house was done as my schedule was too busy and I placed my trust in him to get it done which he did but he kept us well-informed of the progress.

Ron was wonderful as our project manager. Great communication!!!

My wife and I love our new house. The build was very good and our filed contractor, Ron, was very easy to work with and answered any questions we had. We do have some items that we need corrected (30 day) and understand with all going on there may be a delay.

Have found lots of paint spots on tile floors and carpet. Painters need to work cleaner especially in a finished house. Also we were told professional cleaners would get house spotless. They need to look for this type of stuff new home owners shouldn't have to do this.

The process of buying and building the home was very easy. The building supervisors kept me informed on the progress of my home during construction. All minor repairs were noted and repaired when we did the walk through.

Attention to detail by the finishing trades needs huge improvement.

Kitchen cabinet for the waterfall island was misplaced. When i asked why, i was told that's the way the vendor made it..which didn't make sense. A week after moving in, i noticed the island wasn't done properly. I reached out to the field manager. Was told that's the way they did it. This wasn't true as that wasn't the case for another home i saw. Till date the issue has not be fixed. I gave a 3 star overall cos other aspect of the home was average.

Love the community and our new home!

We lived out of AZ during much of the construction and were kept apprised of progress weekly by a great Project Mgr. And he continued when we got to AZ.

All in all great experience

Pulte is a great builder!
