Excellent Service

First, we love the location and the house as a whole. The layout is great and the house has plenty of storage compared to our last home. We are completely satisfied with the products used to build the home such as the appliances, flooring, faucets, etc. That being said, we have had problems with the details of the finished product. Primarily details in craftsmanship such as flawed cabinets being installed and left as finished, cracked granite counter top, return flex duct in the attic not properly attached and sucking in hot attic air, just to name a few. All avoidable with attention to detail from the trades and construction managers but this seems to be a theme after to talking to several neighbors. Initially, responsiveness to issues was a problem but with our new construction manager the process has seemed to smooth out. In an overt effort to mass produce moderate-quality homes, the builder is absolutely rigid in making changes that would save them costs of materials yet they are overtly willing to guide you toward upgrades with 600% markup margins. The only smart move with builders such as this is to purchase the home at near base price, do diligent homework on acquiring upgrade estimates outside of closing and then decide how to proceed with the builder. For us, those moves were an as-build base kitchen, base carpet, base tiles, base paints and no structural wire upgrades. Builder wanted nearly $200k for a home we desired but we were able to achieve that after close for $45k and a little extra dust. Lane, the field manager has made this experience so easy. I do want to say that the home is built very well but some of the detailed things seemed a bit rushed and could of been done a little better. That being said we are very happy with our beautiful new home.

I do not know how to answer the last question. JBHunt did not install the stove correctly, and the Corvid 19 has stopped repairs.

Complete excellent service from beginning to end. Very professional staff from the sales office through home design, and building superintendent who provided updates and progress reports on the buildout.

I was very happy with the initial delivery and construction of the home, but afterwards I have not been able to get significant issues resolved. This is partly due to Covid-19 , but we have issues in the home that should have been caught before we moved in that we have had to live with for the last 1.5 months and counting. I am concerned that I wont be able to get them fixed after the crisis ends.

The overall build of the home was good. The issue was in the response times to minor repairs. There was often a delay of a week or more for simple repairs like drywall fixes, painting touch-ups, etc. What REALLY makes me question Pulte is what we discovered in our house about a month after owning it. At the time we purchased the home, we didn't notice anything, however gradually over a month of ownership we noticed a growing persistent odor permeating from the ceiling. It got so bad that we had to do something about it! We thought at first it was mold but after 5 days of waiting and investigations, I was discovered that there was a DEAD CAT that had bodily fluids all over the ceiling rotting above one of our rooms! Needless to say, we have been out of our house living in a hotel for about a week while remediation takes place. Pulte has not offered any compensation for our trouble and has not considered the amount of work I had to miss to manage this process. Enjoyed the experience of picking out the appointments for our new home.

The sales process was smooth. The quality of the finishing, (trim work, tile installation, painting) was low in my opinion. The superintendent for my build came across as helpful but his follow through has been poor as far as making sure the finishing issues are resolved. Unfortunately some of the repair work has resulted in more damage/poor workmanship than before the repair. The house closing was moved up 3 weeks from its original date and the quality of the final product seems to have be sacrificed to make this happen.

This was a great experience. I really felt I made a great decision with pulte homes. They have a great team who made me feel like family during this experience. Highly recommend pulte homes to new home buyers. It was well worth the wait and working with Jon LoRoche was great as well.

The home looks beautiful but feel like it was rushed. I have plenty of issues that still aren’t fixed my shower is leaking out water and paint needs to be fixed inside and out. My ceiling in my garage needs to be fixed as well. I feel like my house was rushed and now I have all these problems. And the communication throughout my building process with my site manager was pretty much non-existent. He never let me know what was going on with my home I always had to find out myself on what was going on. So my over all experience with building my home with Pulte is not great. I love my home and think it looks nice but I have all these problems and none of them got fixed and now I have to wait and see if they are ever gonna get fixed. If someone would ask me about Pulte right now with what I’m dealing with right now I would not recommend Pulte to anyone giving my experience right now. ... More

Working with the Pulte AZ office to get our A/C fixed was very difficult. Then when you complain about what’s wrong they will tell you that you are lying. Unfortunately it was 1 bad apple working for Pulte who ruined it for everyone else working there. I would be happy to give her name if Pulte wants to know.

Been in our new home for about six weeks and we are very pleased so far. Pulte was very good about letting us know about the various features of the home, and we felt we got very good value. Construction managers were great during the walk-through and the one-month review.

They do not build homes they make your dreams into reality

We have been very pleased with our experience buying a Pulte Home. Josh, our salesman, has always been available to answer any questions we had. Our site foreman, Damon, has been very responsive to any problems that came up and was prompt resolving them.

Am absolutely ashamed of the workmanship and quality control over my community by Jenny. The house had an abundance of issues at my final walk through that she said would be fixed by the time we closed. When closing came around they had still not been done, so I have her another week to have them done by the time we moved it and it still had not. I am incredibly disappointed with PULTE. I had paint stains all over my garage and they had told me there was nothing they could do about it, I am still finding paint all over my tile. The quality control is absolutely terrible and and our field manager the rudest. After reaching out to Pulte multiple times and attempting to reach corporate I finally got someone who was competent. We have finally got our original walk through stuff finished but now I lost my 30 day walk through and now have to deal with customer care from this point forward. ... More
