Don’t sign closing documents until all repairs have been completed!! We completed our walk trough one week prior to close, pointed out the work needed and we’re promised most of it was going to be done by closing. That was not the case, they completed a few cosmetic touches inside the house but nothing everything. The manager did not complete the walk trough with us until two weeks after we had close and he took a list again of the issues needed to be corrected. Up to this date, two months after the walk trough, they have only completed two issues and only because they were affecting the HOA. ...

Be prepared for the fact that your home will be nowhere near done when they say it will be. Be sure the house is complete before funding or you will have a fight to get it fixed.

My wife and I purchased 3 home from Pulte. The first was very well done so we bought two more. With each new purchase the quality, concern, customer service and follow up repairs increasing got worse. We are very disappointed!

Here’s our story of what we are still dealing with. Anyhow, 3 days before our final Walk through I decided to come by the house to do a walk through by myself. The night before we have some rain, but I was still very surprised when I walked in to see water leaking from my downstairs bathroom into the front door foyer. My family closed on our new home on 3/24. We were forced to close on an incomplete home because we were told that it would be ready, closing was scheduled, therefore we ended our former accommodation. We showed up to the walkthrough a few days prior to closing to find a house that was nowhere near finished. Quality of work is okay, not great. Sloppy, no pride in workmanship. 50/50 on materials. Many were very cheap for the price we paid. Quality Control was basically none. Terrible. Responsiveness to issues, basically we got "ghosted". At 2 months from move-in, still many issues were not addressed. Word of trust to take care of things, doesn't exist. Every time we visited the job site it was filthy. No one watched the contractors that were "working" at our home. Beer bottles on site, bathroom plumbing not complete in one of the bathrooms, heater not set up. Even at our walk through the house was not clean and it doesn't seem to bother our "Construction Supervisor". We are sorry we didn't buy from a different builder.

Make sure you inspect every aspect of your home build. We found numerous things wrong ( including beer cans in our walls). We found out that the flooring company Pulte uses has a D- rating. Once you sign the walk through papers you will not have much luck getting things repaired in a timely manner.

Had much difficulty getting any response from people. The workmanship was sub par, and from the mouth of the construction supervisor "Pulte will only do a much as the minimum required". I was not impressed.

I had a horrible experience with both Victoria in the sales office as well as Monica at Pulte mortgage. Victoria was rude and unhelpful and frequently used terms like “breach of contract” as a bully tactic. Monica at Pulte mortgage was often confused and had conflicting information, often calling me when she was trying to call another customer. Even at closing, she incorrectly told me my closing was on hold even though it had been given the clear to close because she had the wrong information. I wouldn't recommend Pulte unless you have an attorney on retainer that can essentially hold your hand through the entire process. From sales to walk through, to follow up issues post sale they were terrible. The folks who helped sign were great including Teri who set herself apart from the rest of the company.

Dishonest people throughout the company

They deleted my original review because I used a fitting expletive to accurately describe this company, and I’m not going to retype it. The short version is that dishonest, scumbag practice pervaded the entire experience of purchasing from Pulte, and there are plenty of better builders to get a house from. Pulte’s people will outright lie to your face about costs and fees, so you’re blinded sided with thousands of dollars in surprise fees two days before the close date, when you can’t back out without losing the earnest payment. This company simply cannot be trusted.

My salesman Josh and construction manager were very helpful. My loan rep Justice was a poor communicator and hard to contact. After closing on property my warranty person Brock Has been slow or unable to resolve issues. Luckily I took pictures of defects the day I received my keys. Pulte in the past has been a builder I’m proud to recommend. Also Pulte was working with Shasta pool so construction would go smooth but that failed also

The attention to detail and workmanship left a lot to be desired for the price. I also have to constantly hound our field manager to get things fixed. And almost 2 months later I still have items from the pre-closing walkthrough that weren’t completed. They flooded the house while testing the water a few days before closing. If I could do it over again I probably wouldn’t buy with Pulte.

Our construction manager Mike wasn’t very communicative throughout the process on giving us updates to the build. We drove by the lot daily to check up on progress ourselves. Our experience with Pulte was awful if we would’ve known how bad of an experience we were going to have we would’ve definitely gone with a different builder. When we received the keys the house still needed many repairs most of which were addressed in the walkthrough and were told they would be fixed prior to closing. It has been a month since we moved in and we still haven’t been able to get anyone to come work on the repairs. It was definitely not move in ready.

Pulte wont help you in what ever situation you are. All they need is to complete with in the dead line unnecessary of what situation the homeowner is in. They make mistakes and you have to pay for it . In my case in they screwed up with the AC and they want me to pay for it.

Very disappointed. Apparently, there are no true craftsmen working for Pulte only the cheapest laborers. There are too many issues to mention them all. The finish on the walls looks terrible. There are runs, clumps, and drips everywhere. There were several places that were marked for repair by our construction manager that the workers ignored. Myself went through three different site managers in a nine month. Period there was no accountability of the work being done on my house. There was no quality control.
