You can't have a quality product if you don't hire skilled employee's and sub-contractors. They make excuses but never get it fixed.

Pulte Homes - tile fell off front of house only 33 days.

tile fell off front of house only 33 days. The General Contractor told me I have to get with insurance company for the damage. ONE TILE fell off in middle of roof! We are not happy. Insurance adjuster told me it was about a 15 minute job for $100 and our deductible is $1000. I asked GC if he has a person who could get and replace same tile. Have not heard back from Don about this. All other items have been taken care of-to be fair.

Be very careful of doing a contingency with this company. They will start building the home prior to the contingency expiration. Get things in writing from your sales rep so that you have proof of what they tell you. Upgraded cabinets to a level 3 and they were not installed correctly. Placed hands on stair railing end piece, with some weight behind me and it broke (inside is pressed board). Paint used on walls is poor quality (1 wipe with a washcloth and it comes right off). The only highlight to our home was our Project Manager Mike was friendly and is working hard to help fix our ...

Final product was not in good shape. Entire countertop has to be replaced due to chips and wrong cutouts around cabinets. New HVAC installed in the wrong place, TWICE. One HVAC sounds like it is blowing up when it starts and stops. Upgraded ceiling fan in family room installed 15 feet in the air with pull chains. Seriously? Pulte mortgage continued to hound us for documents when we hadn't even sold both our homes. Work order placed for 10 various items on Oct 3rd. Have reached out countless times with no response. It's now Oct 26th. Wouldn't pick this company again or refer it to ...

Pulte decides when the buyer has a walk through, even if the buyer isn't available. There is no recourse or anyone to receive your requests to simply attend your own buyer walk through. Pulte will change your inspection dates to meet their schedule. Now I have a workmanship issue and no one from Pulte customer care will respond. Go ahead, try to find people from Pulte on the internet. Imagine if you have a problem. You can't find anyone to call. They'll call you every day when you are buying, but can't return a call for poor workmanship.

Where as we love our new home layout, we are very disappointed with the process and quality of materials. The standard finishes are embarrassingly cheap. When you walk through the models you are tempted to mimic what you see but doing so will cost you many 10’s of thousands more. The sales and construction crew made many promises they were not able to deliver and left a terrible taste in my mouth.

Love my home and thankful to have it but the experience with pulte has been poor. The house took way longer to build than initially expected and communication on realistic timelines were poor. Now that we are moved in, I can not get anyone from pulte to get back to me on work orders. I moved into my house on November 7th and 2 months later I have a window that still needs to be replaced, a cabinet shelf that is still missing and nobody seems to know when it will arrive, and a cabinet door that needs replaced - once again no idea when it will arrive. There's nails all over my roof and every ...

Decided to re-locate my family and build a new house which should have been nothing but exciting but wow was I wrong. Sales was perfect, good communications etc. Closing communication was horrible! Caused delays and extra unnecessary flights only to cause more delays and frustration. Workmanship: sloppy, holes in the wall were not patched, overspray on windows, paint splatters on the brand new floors, lines of paint crooked, floor boards uneven and appear dirty due to the way they were installed, cracked grout, etc. (we moved in over 2 months ago and nothing has been done) Appliances: ...

I would recommend having a home inspector accompany buyers on the pre closing and closing walk throughs. This would hopefully catch many of the incomplete items. I think the builder rushed the process in order to close on the last day of the month.

Pulte Homes - Follow up on issues not addressed at time of closing has been

Follow up on issues not addressed at time of closing has been very poor. Responsiveness by phone and email has likewise been poor. HVAC was not connected when we closed and neither was the kitchen sink, dishwasher or disposal. Cabinets were misaligned at time of closing and still have not been corrected. What started as an outstanding process has finished very poorly. At this point, I could not recommend Pulte as a builder.

It started with my Pulte realtor. No help, no updates, nothing as we lived out of state. At that point I should have known how this was going to go. We closed all cash even before our house was even inspected properly. We had no kitchen faucet, no mirrors in our bathrooms, our shower had no glass and worst of all the insulation wasn’t even done in our attic spaces. All this was done after we started moving in. We have now been in our house for almost 60 days and the list of things we found during our walk through are still not even close to being done. I have been told numerous times by ...

If you like communication, you won’t get it. Sub contractors take no pride their work. If it’s good enough that’s all that matters. Paid a lot of money to have the house interior painted. It’s the worst paint I’ve ever seen. I can never get a response to issues from anyone about issues that need handled for warranty or repairs…starting to get angry at this point.

The home looks beautiful but feel like it was rushed. I have plenty of issues that still aren’t fixed my shower is leaking out water and paint needs to be fixed inside and out. My ceiling in my garage needs to be fixed as well. I feel like my house was rushed and now I have all these problems. And the communication throughout my building process with my site manager was pretty much non-existent. He never let me know what was going on with my home I always had to find out myself on what was going on. So my over all experience with building my home with Pulte is not great. Don’t sign closing documents until all repairs have been completed!! We completed our walk trough one week prior to close, pointed out the work needed and we’re promised most of it was going to be done by closing. That was not the case, they completed a few cosmetic touches inside the house but nothing everything. The manager did not complete the walk trough with us until two weeks after we had close and he took a list again of the issues needed to be corrected. Up to this date, two months after the walk trough, they have only completed two issues and only because they were affecting the HOA. ...

Here’s our story of what we are still dealing with. Anyhow, 3 days before our final Walk through I decided to come by the house to do a walk through by myself. The night before we have some rain, but I was still very surprised when I walked in to see water leaking from my downstairs bathroom into the front door foyer. Obviously I called my super and he got on it right away. We were told the cleaning and remediation process would take about 9 days. My family closed on our new home on 3/24. We were forced to close on an incomplete home because we were told that it would be ready, closing was scheduled, therefore we ended our former accommodation. We showed up to the walkthrough a few days prior to closing to find a house that was nowhere near finished. Quality of work is okay, not great. Sloppy, no pride in workmanship. 50/50 on materials. Many were very cheap for the price we paid. Quality Control was basically none. Terrible. Responsiveness to issues, basically we got "ghosted". At 2 months from move-in, still many issues were not addressed. Word of trust to take care of things, doesn't exist. The only positive portion of this experience was the Loan Processing. Basically smooth, though communication was lacking, it was better than the rest of the process.
