It has been less than three months since house closing. As I recently moved in, I am still unfamiliar with many aspects of the house. I had questions specifically regarding the electrical system and sent text messages in hopes of receiving clarification, but unfortunately, I received no reply at all.

Ad for Pulte shows a person in business casual clothing taking time to sit & talk/work through the process of how things in the house work & some type of information on where things are. Sakes pitch & empty promises. Building manager even told us that he holds the paperwork "hostage" until we agree that the house is fine to get people to sign. I couldn't believe he said it out loud. Too many issues with poor workmanship to give Pulte a good review. Many issues easily avoidable, but grossly mismanaged. The trades working for Pulte have questionable experience and skill.

My experience with Pulte was less than pleasureable as a 1st time homebuyer. In the beginning my sales agent offered and sold me upgrades & options that were not available for my model. My Pulte sales agent changed and my new agent was rude and basically threatened to cancel my contract, after I questioned changes. They made multiple changes to my options and did provide me any new choices and basically "I have no choice but sign change order or he could just give me earnesr money back, and sell my home to someone else for more money." Beautiful home built chock full of issues

In all honesty, the home feels that every corner that could be cut was butchered. We have so many issues with the home (doors, carpet, cabinets, paint, bathroom insert, tile, flooring, grout etc etc. Its been a nightmare to say the least...will not do again.

There was work finished after closing and the house was left in a mess. Paint spilled on the floor in pantry was the biggest issue. Then I went to cook and my stove shuts the breaker off every time I preheat it. (It also happens if I plug my toaster oven into that side of the kitchen so it’s not the stove. The electrician finally came after a month of complaints and missing the first appointment. He insists it was the stove and told me to call whirlpool (who told me they’d call back, which hasn’t happened yet). And the electrician replaced the breaker just in case. We’ve had so many issues. We were promised the home would look like a model home and it wasn’t. We are waiting response to get our issues resolved. Just felt like things were put together as quickly as possible knowing things could be fixed. On top of that we have plot issues. Our plot is smaller than what was supposed to be according to the plan.

Struggle to get repairs completed! When repairs are finally made, the repairs are shoddy and careless. Things go from bad to worse when trying to get things fixed under warranty.

For the money I paid, I should have received a better quality house. For a $550K, cheap material seem to have been used. Everything was extra and not came with the base price.

First of all, my experience with Hector, the construction manager was GREAT! He exemplifies the outstanding customer service and responsiveness of a true professional. My experience went downhill from there. There were (and still are) a dozen items on the punch list that have not been addressed by the customer service team. I Was not living in AZ at the time. I did all my selections via internet. I was told there would be weekly updates but received no information for months. There was constantly a change in contact people. The people I started with were not the people I ended with. Overall the home is nice, but there is some messy workmanship and communicationneeds to improve.

After two months of home ownership I have a 15+ bullet point list of issues still needing resolved. Still don’t have a working oven, and a row of tiles have fallen off my home due to poor workmanship during installation. A lot of the concerns have been brought forward from even pre closing dates that have yet to be fixed. Additionally since we started this process we are now on our third foreman... that should tell you something.

tile fell off front of house only 33 days. The General Contractor told me I have to get with insurance company for the damage. ONE TILE fell off in middle of roof! We are not happy. Insurance adjuster told me it was about a 15 minute job for $100 and our deductible is $1000. I asked GC if he has a person who could get and replace same tile. Have not heard back from Don about this. All other items have been taken care of-to be fair.

Be very careful of doing a contingency with this company. They will start building the home prior to the contingency expiration. Get things in writing from your sales rep so that you have proof of what they tell you. Upgraded cabinets to a level 3 and they were not installed correctly. Placed hands on stair railing end piece, with some weight behind me and it broke (inside is pressed board). Paint used on walls is poor quality (1 wipe with a washcloth and it comes right off). Final product was not in good shape. Entire countertop has to be replaced due to chips and wrong cutouts around cabinets. New HVAC installed in the wrong place, TWICE. One HVAC sounds like it is blowing up when it starts and stops. Upgraded ceiling fan in family room installed 15 feet in the air with pull chains. Seriously? Pulte decides when the buyer has a walk through, even if the buyer isn't available. There is no recourse or anyone to receive your requests to simply attend your own buyer walk through. Pulte will change your inspection dates to meet their schedule. Now I have a workmanship issue and no one from Pulte customer care will respond. Go ahead, try to find people from Pulte on the internet. Imagine if you have a problem. You can't find anyone to call. They'll call you every day when you are buying, but can't return a call for poor workmanship.

Where as we love our new home layout, we are very disappointed with the process and quality of materials. The standard finishes are embarrassingly cheap. When you walk through the models you are tempted to mimic what you see but doing so will cost you many 10’s of thousands more. The sales and construction crew made many promises they were not able to deliver and left a terrible taste in my mouth.
