Had much difficulty getting any response from people. The workmanship was sub par, and from the mouth of the construction supervisor "Pulte will only do a much as the minimum required". I was not impressed.

They do not respond to issues with the home . A lot of promises not kept. Communication is poor. I would advise to look for another home builder.

I had a horrible experience with both Victoria in the sales office as well as Monica at Pulte mortgage. Victoria was rude and unhelpful and frequently used terms like “breach of contract” as a bully tactic. Monica at Pulte mortgage was often confused and had conflicting information, often calling me when she was trying to call another customer. Even at closing, she incorrectly told me my closing was on hold even though it had been given the clear to close because she had the wrong information. I wouldn't recommend Pulte unless you have an attorney on retainer that can essentially hold your hand through the entire process. From sales to walk through, to follow up issues post sale they were terrible. The folks who helped sign were great including Teri who set herself apart from the rest of the company.

Dishonest people throughout the company

They deleted my original review because I used a fitting expletive to accurately describe this company, and I’m not going to retype it. The short version is that dishonest, scumbag practice pervaded the entire experience of purchasing from Pulte, and there are plenty of better builders to get a house from. Pulte’s people will outright lie to your face about costs and fees, so you’re blinded sided with thousands of dollars in surprise fees two days before the close date, when you can’t back out without losing the earnest payment. This company simply cannot be trusted.

My salesman Josh and construction manager were very helpful. My loan rep Justice was a poor communicator and hard to contact. After closing on property my warranty person Brock Has been slow or unable to resolve issues. Luckily I took pictures of defects the day I received my keys. Pulte in the past has been a builder I’m proud to recommend. Also Pulte was working with Shasta pool so construction would go smooth but that failed also

The attention to detail and workmanship left a lot to be desired for the price. I also have to constantly hound our field manager to get things fixed. And almost 2 months later I still have items from the pre-closing walkthrough that weren’t completed. They flooded the house while testing the water a few days before closing. If I could do it over again I probably wouldn’t buy with Pulte.

Our construction manager Mike wasn’t very communicative throughout the process on giving us updates to the build. We drove by the lot daily to check up on progress ourselves. Many items on our final walk through were left unfinished, there’s a stain on the new carpet in one of the bedrooms that has been there since before closing. The quality of our new home is sub-par. After moving in we noticed that 2 walls in the middle of our home aren't even close to straight. This entire experience has been horrible and I wish I never purchased my home from Pulte. Not only was there delay after delay, The sales person was disappointing, I went through three construction managers and I am fighting to get items fixed. Our experience with Pulte was awful if we would’ve known how bad of an experience we were going to have we would’ve definitely gone with a different builder. When we received the keys the house still needed many repairs most of which were addressed in the walkthrough and were told they would be fixed prior to closing. It has been a month since we moved in and we still haven’t been able to get anyone to come work on the repairs. It was definitely not move in ready.

Pulte wont help you in what ever situation you are. All they need is to complete with in the dead line unnecessary of what situation the homeowner is in. They make mistakes and you have to pay for it . In my case in they screwed up with the AC and they want me to pay for it.

I would not recommend Pulte or Pulte Finance. Everyone was on vacation and they didn’t close the deal on time like promised. They were too busy on vacation and they wasted a lot of my time.

Very disappointed. Apparently, there are no true craftsmen working for Pulte only the cheapest laborers. There are too many issues to mention them all. The finish on the walls looks terrible. There are runs, clumps, and drips everywhere. There were several places that were marked for repair by our construction manager that the workers ignored. The bathtub and shower were left outside for months and filled with garbage and bags of grout. The shower and tub are scratched, scuffed, and stained. Myself went through three different site managers in a nine month. Period there was no accountability of the work being done on my house. There was no quality control. There is still being worked on my house. Two months after I had moved in and constantly trades not showing up, who are scheduled to show up.

There are so many issues with the home. Finishing is bad. Paint issue in so many places. Field manager rushed us to give him good rating at first but now we regret it. Cracked walls, cracks and damages in the floor and in so many places. It feels like Pulte just want to sell their home and don't care about the home quality. We are having very bad experience. DO NOT close on house until ALL issues are taken care of, Once you are in, good luck getting anything fixed. The appointments that are made, NO body shows up. While out site super is working to fix issues it has been an extremely slow, painful, and stressful process. It took 3 visits for our home to even get the correct attic insulation level. If you don’t mind being just another number Instead of a human being use Pulte. They could care less. Loan processing is a joke.
