Love the home....'however' in one day and at the same time I had 4 contractors here fixing things that should never have needed fixing. Replace the mirror in master because of defects, 'repairing' master marble sink (what, its supposed to be brand new?), fixing shoddy drywall, repair sliding glass door. Truly believe Pulte purchases '2nds' and uses them in new homes to cut costs. A number of items in my home that needed replaced, repaired should never have been in a new home. Have spent a lot of time with people in and out getting stuff fixed and then discovering more. You begin to feel like a chronic complainer. You can't have a quality product if you don't hire skilled employee's and sub-contractors. They make excuses but never get it fixed.

If you have any knowledge on building a home do it yourself if you can noone else's work looks better than your own.

All of the Pulte folks tried their best. And actually the sub contractors were friendly and responsive, and fun to talk to. The trouble is when they finished their respective job there was little or no responsibility placed on them to leave the job completed in a workmanship like manner which includes leaving the job site clean and hazard free. I thought that there was little or no accountability placed on the sub contractors unless I complained. Then, perhaps, my concerns would be heard. I would be afraid to not do my own supervision.

I have met some great Pulte people who have made the whole process easy. Anything that needed correcting was done in a timely manner. We love our new home .Kudos to Courtney, Jennifer and Ron.

Here’s our story of what we are still dealing with. Anyhow, 3 days before our final Walk through I decided to come by the house to do a walk through by myself. The night before we have some rain, but I was still very surprised when I walked in to see water leaking from my downstairs bathroom into the front door foyer. Obviously I called my super and he got on it right away. We were told the cleaning and remediation process would take about 9 days. They put us up in a hotel for those days, then we were given the new date to our closing. We did the final walk through, water issues was fixed, so we thought. Doing the walk through the quality of the build just seemed cheap. Paint job was not perfect, seemed rushed. Dry wall was uneven, paint spots over our wood floors, dings here and there, baseboards seemed rushed, dirty finger prints on our ceiling and things like that. Our super said he would have that fixed, and most were fixed the following week. Now fast forward to last week (1 month living in our new home) it rains again, and what happens again? Yep, you guessed it. Same leak, in the bathrooms, in the same spot. The roof was NEVER fixed. They roof company came and patched it, the roofers came back a week later and found 4 more holes in the roof. All were patched, the bathroom had to have the ceiling removed and replaced with new dry wall. Two weeks later, our bathroom has not been painted and still a mess. I say all of that, to say this. I will think twice next time I plan on building a house through Pulte. Not shunning them forever, yet, but will definitely think it over twice. Ps. I think their issues is the subs they use to build their house. They can give a rats butt on the quality of work they do. My house was built in the Cadence community in Mesa, AZ. ... More

I would check seals around the garage, windows, and sliding doors.

We thought building a new home was going to be hard. Pulte made it easy. The overall initial purchase and builder options were easy. The design center was amazing - we were able to get our dream home picked out in 2 trips and 8 hours! Our supervisor kept us in the loop during every part of the build, with photos and email updates. He even walked us through the house multiple times pointing out some of the key build aspects of the house. When we caught problems during the build - one email and they were taken care of. The final signing and walkthrough was easy! Overall - we would build with Pulte again! But hoping we stay in our dream house for a long tome! ... More

Great experience all the way.

We were so excited to move into our new home, but all we’ve been doing is filling out work orders to have everything fixed. We are very disappointed.

Boulder should make sure that all cables are working. As I have lived there for almost 2 months with no Internet connection available. I’m not sure who’s responsible however cable was broken under the street and I am now waiting for a city approval to fix that issue.

My first time purchasing a home. Pulte made it really easy. They answered all my questions and concerns.

Very pleased with Pulte employees we worked with along the way. Thank you Josh & Ron. Only complaint would be that the home design has a number of wasted spaces that are behind walls that could be utilized much better and more effective for the price.

I feel this House was rushed to be built and closed on for financial gains. Numerous craftmanship and material issues, most that were addressed at walk through, have not been resolved. It is now two months past closing and we're still waiting for simple things to be repaired and or replaced. This was my first time purchasing a new home, and it has been far from a pleasant experience for me or my family.

Working with Pulte was an amazing experience. They respond to any inquiry around the clock and make sure to tell you about information you don’t even ask.

We are very happy with the overall quality, price and workmanship of our new house. When we did find one very minor issue they responded super fast and got it cleared up completely.

Pay close attention to flooring placements when using their basic flooring. Some of it doesn't flow properly.
