This is our second Pulte house and Pulte will continue to be a top option for us if we ever need another house. We lived in our first home for 10 years and were very satisfied with the quality of the house. Our new home is even better! Pulte has been easy to work with and has followed through on everything promised throughout the process. The only issue we had was that our Project Manager was, at times, difficult to get in touch with due to how busy he was. We had a lot of reservations at the beginning of the process and were anxious about what issues would come up and how they would be dealt with. Overall, our experience with Pulte was very good to excellent. I was impressed at how fast the process went; our actual closing date was 4 weeks earlier than the beginning of the committed closing window. We also have had great response to minor issues which have come up at our 30 day review. We have been very happy with Pulte's commitment to our satisfaction. Our only real issue was that there was poor coordination between Pulte and our pool contractor which resulted in our pool excavation being delayed. ... More

Good sales support. Moderately good construction but minimal selection of cabinetry and other accessories. Design flaws in Salerno model such as location of powder room, no outlets in walk in closet, insufficient storage space in general, insufficient number of towel bars, cheaply made towel bars and rings, insufficient lighting in master bath, interior spaces painted flat white which is a cheap, inferior choice, limited appliance choices of inferior brands, low quality cabinets with no 21st century design choices like pot drawers throughout kitchen.

The home materials used and workmanship are high quality, the Pulte team of people have been excellent to work with. Their support was crucial since our move was cross country and the team delivered! During the construction process there were virtually no major issues causing delay. The timing was accurate and home was well worth the value for the money.

Disappointed at how many things are wrong with the home that is a new build, including uneven walls, uneven window frames that are wider on bottom than top or vise versa, broken beams on a roof, broken roof tiles, leaky pipe in the shower, scratches and splatters on every door, uneven handles on kitchen cabinets, very sloppy craftsmanship.

Overall the home buyers process has been great. Pulte team has been great but the subcontractors have been horrible with responding and fixing issues especially the electrical team. I’ve been experiencing electrical problems since moving into my house and they still haven’t resolved the issues. Closed February 13th and it’s currently April 16th. Two months of not being able to fully enjoy our home.

Have a home inspector take a look and forward recommendations to the building superintendent. Compliments to Travis who has complied with all needed repairs. Substandard kitchen cabinets for homes in the $500K price range.

We did not receive the workmanship or quality we were promised and paid for. I am concerned that my home is not worth what we paid. This builder is non-responsive and everyone points to someone else as the reason they do not have time to finish things at my house and for the poor workmanship. We're still waiting for things we paid for but haven't received. We've received countless excuses and ignored completely when we've asked for a timeframe for things to be completed. They made us so many promises to get back to us but nothing has been done yet. I would not recommend this builder based on on the lack of customer service to get things completed, the quality of what we received and the fact that we have not received things we paid for. ... I'd have liked to give 5 stars instead of 4 stars, but the inability to make changes to customize was an issue. No pocket door option, no custom-built closets, and having to buy packages of appliances with no individual appliance choices were issues for me. The home we built on the East Coast gave us these options. Our construction manager David was fabulous though.

The Sales experience was positive however we expect more flexibility The Construction Manager, Outstanding personalized Service, Lorenzo S. is genuine customer care professional. The Mortgage experience, we expect to have the most competitive % as we understand Pulte offer good deals but we finish with a local lender The Closing Experience, was pushy and not clear in communications specially with our calls (rude and hanging the phone to us ) . The signature process was fast and clear

Could do a better job with quality control.

The only absolute thing I would change is the paint. Why every builder wants to use the cheapest interior paint I have no idea but it’s already peeling in several areas less than 60 days in a new home. I’m sure they will take care of it but still so annoying.

Do not sign the final inspection report until all problems have been resolved. An employee promised to fix items at signing and when reminded, appeared to forget.

Initially, we really loved the models only to find out that a lot of the items had been discontinued. Having then gone thru the designer process, it took 10 months to build and move in. We love our home and only have minor issues to deal with.

our experience buying this home is mixed. the sales person , mary beth, was very good and responsive. the loan officer, Dave, at Pulte mortgage was very responsive but when handed off to the followup person, Kim, the experience went downhill. all our closing costs were supposed to be paid but since Kim and our insurance person were at loggerheads, we paid our homeowners insurance and she refused to reimburse us. Closing was uneventful. After we moved in the project manager, Travis, was wonderful trying to get issues fixed for us. The problem lies with the quality of the subcontractors. Pulte evidently can't find good ones. Numerous tiles in the home are chipped and they can't locate the exact same size for replacements. After 5 weeks we're still hoping they can find it. The painters are the worst. Paint on the grout, the caulking looks like a 5 year did it. having to redo caulking and scrape and sand baseboards because they are so rough they can't be cleaned. I would still recommend Pulte. I think the subcontractor issue isn't limited to Pulte. Just be prepared to have to have some issues addressed after you move in. ... More

Home quality is very positive for some items like finishes and appliances, but these are offset by poor workmanship. There have been several issues with grout, drywall, paint running marks, trim damage, cracked glass, unfinished stucco, etc. Many issues will be resolved by the owner due to the small scale, but give the price of the home, expectations were much higher in the finished product. It is now clear that the price is entirely market driven and not an indicator of home quality which we have come to accept. Customer Service staff and the site manager have done all they can to help with the issues but they are excessive and the trades cannot be mobilized more than once during the warranty period unless there are safety issues (which have been escalated and are being prioritized for repair). ... They were great to work with!

Overall the Pulte house is a good house. The timelines provided at purchase were not realistic at all. Four - five months indicated, Ten months actual total. Sometimes multiple weeks went by with no progress. That is frustrating. Subs rushing to complete work often caused damage that the next group needed to correct.

We loved working with each person assigned to us from the salesperson, and the supervisor(s) along the way. Extremely helpful during the process. Being our first new build, we've been a bit underwhelmed by the final product - poor paint job & drywall installation, messiness in cabinet installation, etc. Perhaps this is the norm for large tract home communities, but to us, the work in many areas has been mediocre, thus the 3 stars for quality. It's been an interesting and educational process, to say the least!

Our construction manager James is a real trooper. He’s had to deal with supply chain and work force issues and has done very well. I will say though that the timeline of completion made it impossible for him to get the house up to the standard that we expected. While there are many minor issues like poor drywall, paint, hardware alignment, we still have items that are simply incomplete. No screen door, unpainted/finished items, fit and finish issues. I will say that James has made an effort though. He needs assistance from his management. The house functions without major issue at the time of writing this. My field manager helped me throughout the process. He was very responsive and met with me multiple times to address any concerns.
