Have been waiting for days to contact me for several issues in the house

It is impossible to get a response whether it is via the portal, in the office or the 1800 number. The friendly service received during the sales process (although not always efficient) leaves a lot to be desired once the keys are handed over. We have not moved in, 60 days after signing, and there are multiple issues that Pulte is leaving unresolved. Completely frustrated. Highly recommend to plan ample time between inspection, items getting addressed and final signature. I have been completely shocked at how I have been treated.

I closed on my home at the end of Feb 2022, and I still have outstanding items that have not been completed. These were detected in January of 2022. Sad that Pulte rushes to sell home that are not complete and with such poor workmanship. Field managers are over worked and when fix is needed they resort to threats to the homeowner.

Broken promises

We had high hopes. Workmanship is subpar Paid extra insulation in walls and roof which was not completed. Construction manager stated he thought we would not find out. Irrigation flooding front yard. Back wall falling down. It feels like we are living in a remodel in a brand new home. Pulte mortagage unresponsive and fees are astronomical. Pulte design center is the worst. They don’t know what included or what extra options. The price for options is ridiculous. We are heartbroken with experience, we had high hopes.

Half Way Done. Over Priced. Poor quality. Hire incompetent for half price builder.

Holes still needing repaired. But all we were told was when do you want painters? Did our walk through and marked up a lot of cosmetic items, holes, missing items. Come to closing and sign our paperwork to be told the painters are still there. Oh and we haven't scheduled cleaners. Painters used all types of finishes on all walls, trim is half painted, sometimes even changing from flat to semi gloss to flat again on the same board. Chips in the front door, staples were just painted over that should have been removed. When removed they were just left on the ground. Doors are all chipped up, ...

After the closing!!

The on-site crews were very attentive to resolving issues before closing. After the closing, however, has been a total disappointment...zero contact confirming issues to be addressed. No emails, texts, etc. from customer support. Issues with low quality garage door panels with obvious manufacturing defects then blaming winds. Extremely disappointed in customer service after the home closing.

Bad experience

It’s was not the kind of experience we were looking for. House had multiple issues before closing. We closed on the house. The project manager promised us to repair all those issues before closing but didn’t happen. After closing when I asked when he will repair those issue, he told me to call customer care and he doesn’t work at this location anymore. I had to get in contact with regional manger to get the ball rolling.

Home was filthy when I received keys, cabinets were missing shelves, crown molding missing, paint all over garage and back patio. Paint in grout in bathroom. Numerous other attention to detail issues.

i am an educated professional who purchased a home in dove mountain from the state of Washington. during the experience, i returned every month to evaluate the process. the construction manager Corey, was very effective and as was Jessica in the design center. i initially had problems with Pulte mortgage, however, they came through at the end. the sales agent, Bly was completely not involved and of no significant advantage. there were so many issues regarding the construction of the home, that if i were not present to point them out, they would have been missed. at closing, so many ...

Pulte scheduled my home to close on January 31 - well before it was ready for a new buyer. Several weeks before the scheduled closing, I saw what a terrible state the home was in and asked if they were sure they'd be ready. They assured me they would. Well, it came time for the walk through, which takes place a few days before closing so that they have time to finish any small punch list work before the actual closing date. Good sales people. Horrible trades workers that don't know what they are doing and don't care about your new home. I would never buy another Pulte home, it has been a living nightmare trying to get my home built. RUN, RUN, RUN as fast as you can away from buying a new Pulte Home!

I don’t trust any of the workmanship of this home. By the time I correct all the unacceptable finishes and workmanship, I’ll have spent $700k. I could have built a better custom home! My old Denver, 1925 bungalow, was quality construction. This is NOT!

I have nothing good to say about Pulte - they are currently building homes as fast as they can and cutting corners left and right. We closed on a house that was filthy with many issues that they promised to address as soon as we closed - joke was on us for not refusing to close and believing that they were telling us the truth. As soon as you close, they disappear. My advice? Run.

Beware! Zero quality of workmanship!

Do not buy a Pulte home unless you like fixing things yourself or having contractors coming and going once you move in. Our home was not nearly complete yet our scheduled closing was fast approaching. We were assured that it would be done in time. Pulte scheduled what they term as a "Build Quality Celebration" AKA final walkthrough 3 days before closing (side note - there was almost zero leeway as to the time and date Pulte required this to be done).
