My wife and I are very pleased overall with our home. The build process took a bit longer than we had hoped but with weather and the climate of the housing market currently it is somewhat understandable. Our building manager was helpful in answer our questions and noting discrepancies found throughout the build process as well as after closing. Although we have experienced some difficulties resolving these issues in a timely manner. I would certainly recommend pulte to others.

We love the house. But there are so many cosmetic issues after closing. The manager on site seems like he didn’t regular his contractors on their workmanship and the quality of the house before closing on the house. After, closing we had to call in and address alot of problems and he was very selective on which emails he wanted to answer or reply. He was very unresponsive. For example, we contacted him about the issues and asked him to schedule for repair services he didn’t answer at all and it been like 2 weeks. I submitted my 30 day checklist on Nov 15th and have not heard back from anyone (Dec 5) on when the issues I reported will be resolved. I contacted CAC@pulte.com on Nov 29th and they said someone would contact me? Haven't heard from anyone. (Dec 5) There has also been a lot of problem with landscaping collapsing on this block over the past 2 weeks and it has to do with Packing that wasn't properly done when pipes were laid to the sides of houses. There is confusion on who is responsible (Arizona pipe or Desert Valley) and what the reporting process is, there isn't one? you contact Pulte Reps and no one responds. You call Desert Valley Landscaping and they are too busy or don't want to spend anytime resolving the issues. They send someone out and they put rock on it to cover problem so you can't see it. Smooth process.

Little and sometimes no response from the building manager after the first month. No adequate heat during the cold season and cooling issues. Am told the air conditioners may be too small to cool home and not set properly to address zones. Mostly no response to texts message or calls. We were one of the last people to purchase a home at Tangerine Ridge and we feel that we have been treated poorly as the building contractors have left the neighborhood. The only truly positive experience we have had was our sales manager Charmaine. She deserves a raise and the rest deserve to pay that raise.

This is our second Pulte house and Pulte will continue to be a top option for us if we ever need another house. We lived in our first home for 10 years and were very satisfied with the quality of the house. Our new home is even better! Pulte has been easy to work with and has followed through on everything promised throughout the process. The only issue we had was that our Project Manager was, at times, difficult to get in touch with due to how busy he was. Everything that we wanted corrected was eventually fixed to our satisfaction and we would gladly recommend Pulte as a builder to any of our friends and family. ... More

Responded promptly to any questions, good quality materials, great designs

The home is a typical track home. The quality is decent. From the time of purchase we have been changing out the cheaper fits and finishes and installing better quality. The superintendent Carson has bent over backwards to help in any way possible. The neighborhood is great.

Structurally the house appears solid. Finishing workmanship is always an issue when building. Our project manager has been on top of our punch list items. Air conditioning air flow has been an ongoing issue and still needs attention. Is 1 unit enough for our size house? How should the duct work /vents be installed/adjusted for even temp throughout the house? Overall we are pleased.

We had a lot of reservations at the beginning of the process and were anxious about what issues would come up and how they would be dealt with. Overall, our experience with Pulte was very good to excellent. I was impressed at how fast the process went; our actual closing date was 4 weeks earlier than the beginning of the committed closing window. We also have had great response to minor issues which have come up at our 30 day review. We have been very happy with Pulte's commitment to our satisfaction. Our only real issue was that there was poor coordination between Pulte and our pool contractor which resulted in our pool excavation being delayed. ... More

Contracted working crew does not clean up area after working each day. I found 17 loose nails left around working area. Luckily my vehicle did not suffer a tire flat, however a neighbor did.

Bought home is a large gated community. It has natural preserve area but missing walking trail or play ground for kids. The upgrades were very expensive and had limited options.

We love our new Pulte home!

The hardworking sales staff was been exceptionally responsive to our concerns throughout the process. The design staff was a pleasure to work with. The building manager was responsive to our needs. There were some delays and lack of communication with the appraisal process. Perhaps not 5 star but a good experience overall and one that we were glad to have had.

Good sales support. Moderately good construction but minimal selection of cabinetry and other accessories. Design flaws in Salerno model such as location of powder room, no outlets in walk in closet, insufficient storage space in general, insufficient number of towel bars, cheaply made towel bars and rings, insufficient lighting in master bath, interior spaces painted flat white which is a cheap, inferior choice, limited appliance choices of inferior brands, low quality cabinets with no 21st century design choices like pot drawers throughout kitchen.

Elected to use Pulte and it’s affiliates throughout the entire purchase process, a one stop shop approach requiring less action on our part. All individuals involved in the process were knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful. Quality of finished house I rate better than average as some areas of workmanship were less than desired. Overall satisfied with our home buying experience with Pulte and our new home.

I have nothing negative to say about our experience with Pulte Homes. This is the most solid well built house we have ever lived in. The people we dealt with were fabulous and very responsive to our questions and concerns. If I ever want to build another house (I love this one to much so I probably won't) but I would build another Pulte home.

The home materials used and workmanship are high quality, the Pulte team of people have been excellent to work with. Their support was crucial since our move was cross country and the team delivered! During the construction process there were virtually no major issues causing delay. The timing was accurate and home was well worth the value for the money.

We encountered a plumbing leak shortly after we moved in and the Field Manager got right after it to ensure the work was fixed quickly. the rest of the home is great. We love our new home.

There is a push to get you to make design decisions quickly (both interior & structural) so you do not have time to think about things. Wish we would have done different features. There are limited examples of the options available. We worked with our project manager 2000 miles removed from the project & he did scheduled walkthrus via Skype & it worked out great. He was a very good manager. sales office was responsive & quick to answer our questions. there is ABSOLUTELY NO FLEXIBILITY to do minor changes, such as not putting up a laundry shelf or bathroom mirrors. We had wanted a turnkey house to walk into, but instead we have many features to finish. Many options had excessive costs to them. ... More

My family and I are very pleased with the Pulte Experience

Do not buy a Pulte home unless you like fixing things yourself or having contractors coming and going once you move in. Our home was not nearly complete yet our scheduled closing was fast approaching. We were assured that it would be done in time. Pulte scheduled what they term as a "Build Quality Celebration" AKA final walkthrough 3 days before closing (side note - there was almost zero leeway as to the time and date Pulte required this to be done). The walkthrough was anything but a "celebration". The LACK of quality workmanship and things that were not complete was appalling! We made a list of everything that needed to be fixed or completed in 3 days and let them know that we would not sign closing documents if the home was still a mess. We were informed that we would be in breach of contract if we did not close and that we had 30 days to let contractors into our home for any "punch list" 0repairs. Our question to them was why would we take time off of work and let contractors back in to a bang around, and make a mess when they couldn't get it right the first time? Their response was that they don't send the same people. So they save the GOOD contractors when there are complaints? Seriously? I wish that I could post photos of the shoddy workmanship. If you have dreams of building a new home and think that it will be beautiful when you move it, do NOT buy a Pulte home. ... More
