Everyone in the Process from Elli to Abdul was very helpful explaining what we needed to get to close, and how we needed to maintain the home. I'm grateful to everyone involved on the Pulte team starting from the underwriting process (Jessica) to the servicing (Liz).

There are two people that stood out with me and Pulte during my homebuying experience first was the sales representative Bobbett. She was exceptional. She was friendly personable, and she made me feel like I could be a part of a community that was family oriented, and driven to have a safe environment for my children, the second person within Pulte that was exceptional and provided a comfortable situation and was able to answer all of my questions in which I can understand them as a first time Home owner was the construction manager Mark. he was personable straightforward and made me feel comfortable with the materials and quality of my home. We had an excellent sales person in Peggy Pfeiffer who patiently and diligently guided us through the home buying process. Our construction project manager Seth Nisall did a phenomenal job. His guidance through the process and completion and tips for after care have been warmly received and respected, our interior designer also has high praise for him

Overall, a decent experience. Great during buying process, but too many punch list issues open at closing, and still issues open a month later. For the price paid, it would be nice if there was heightened responsiveness.

Buying a new build can be scary but this process was very smooth. Our home was completed on time as promised and we had a wonderful team with Monica in sales and Kevin as our project manager. They made us feel comfortable and confident the entire process. The home is lovely and we've had no issues other than a minor plumbing issue on day one that was not followed up on (hence the 3 star) but overall it was a wonderful experience. If I ever buy/sell/move again I would very much consider a Pulte home. Thank you!

My home buying experience with Pulte went swimmingly because the paper work, payment schedules and closing dates were quite articulate.Every T crossed every I dotted. Howbeit, this would not have been achieved to the extent with regards to my laudatory comments without the input of Elli M and Adam C. Elli from the get-go filled us in on the proper time how and when to execute same to attain swift and propitious results. Although everything is clearly defined as above mentioned, she was there exhibiting supererogatory work which made us feel comfortable and relaxed. She also put her bubbly and positive spin on things at every step of the way. I had a short experience/ encounter with Adam C, but my sentiments are the same as Elli’s. He was very personable and easygoing …took his time to explain everything in details and emphasized on more than one occasion that if we have a problem in his department we are to call him it won’t be a bother because he will only be fulfilling his job obligation. I already felt right at home then… knowing that we were not just left to our own devices. The handover of the house was very confusing as there were several changes in dates. And after the move, a leak appeared in the bathroom from the master suite to the bedroom downstairs and it has been 20 days without a solution, asking for a deadline for the tiles to arrive.

A few members of the team are not good at their job, made the sales process/process for waiting for the home painful. Construction manager was great

We love our new home but had some trouble during the construction process. Some of the information we were getting from our sales associate and construction manager turned out to be misleading. We had difficulty getting the construction manager to respond to us at all. His manager should have stepped in to assist if he was overloaded. The post closing support has been good from Julie. You expect a few minor issues here and there with any new construction and Julie has been very responsive.

The onsite sales team were great to work with - very professional and helpful. They exemplify a brand of excellence. Kudos to the onsite sales team ! I cannot say the same with the construction side. My home was originally scheduled to close in June and eventually it closed near the end of September. I understood this was due to the sliding glass door and window parts being fabricated outside the USA as well as some issues with the distributor resulting in Pulte not being able to obtain the parts to finish the job as originally scheduled. It is also my opinion that the windows and sliding doors are not the best quality that could have been used. Pulte scheduled the closing while there were still issues to be resolved such as bedroom windows that could not be locked, and window frame closure strips and screens were not installed prior to closing. During the walk through several windows broke upon opening them and they had to be repaired. The ceramic wall tile in the guest shower was improperly installed where the ceramic tile window sill was installed "above" the aluminum window sill making it impossible for the aluminum closure strips for the windows to be installed. This will require the shower tile to be cut out so that a new corian sill can be installed to be below the aluminum window sill - all of this I have to deal with after I had already moved in. In addition my home inspector noted an electrical safety issue with exposed wires on the motor for the garage door opener which still has not been covered. When I pointed out the exposed electrical wire to Pulte's onsite construction manager, he responded "they are all like that and that is how it is." The post closing customer service team has been good to work with at scheduling to get these items fixed. ... More

I'd like to start with how amazing my contractor Kevin has been with everything pre close. Extremely helpful and responsive. But the quality of work from outside companies have been terrible, not happy with windows, sliding doors and the quality of fixing things. It's really turning into a frustrating situation with lack of responses from quality control being helpful. HOA has been great and very helpful but they can only do so much. Just think everything is too much going on for Pulte to keep up. It's giving the ones who live in a home lack of attention and help.

Lots of challenges from the beginning w pulse lender , time to get things done. And then when house under appraised only way to bring price down was to close 3.5 weeks earlier. However the house had a lot of punch list items that even with 2 weeks post closing was not finished. 5 weeks major items complete. Still a few left that time is tbd. Jeremy was least helpful…seems after he got the sale he could care less to make things right. Adam was the most communicative with repairs. Rob and Julie are good too. However seems to be a lot of sneaky tactics. And rushed work to finish homes w issues w walls, ceilings, etc that had to be fixed. There was no way it would be done in 3 days before closing and instead of pushing closing bc house was not ready I was promised the two weeks I was gone out of country after closing it would be complete. If anything things got worse rather than better. ... More

I decided to go with all Pulte products (mortgage, insurance, title company) for my closing. I did this to make things “easier”. What I found is that all of the parties have poor communication that led to delays and inconveniences. Closing was pushed causing me to miss an international trip. The build quality continues to be an issue with no communication on when things will be resolved. Overall, I would not purchase a home from Pulte again.

From a real estate agent from Pulti to design center to project manager can’t say enough good things about them always on top of it. It was an awesome experience for me and my wife.

Don't use Pulte Mortgage and read the contract before you sign. Once you submit your conditional approval you forfeit your right to get your earnest money back, lets say in the event a big life change occurred, such as losing your job. (didn't happen with me, but just want to make you aware). Separately, Pulte Mortgage will always give you a conditional approval regardless if you qualify or not, just to lock you in the contract, what happens at Final Approval doesn't matter to them since they will tell you last minute you don't qualify and bam you lost your money. Also, their interest rates are 1.5x more compared to direct lenders and their bonuses they proclaim to over you is a wash since their initial fees is exactly the amount higher than your closing bonus would be, bad business practices. I would even consider them Unfair, and Deceptive. On top of this, these Mortgage Specialist are not responsive, take forever to follow up and approve documents, they have even lied to me and told me things that were inaccurate and removed income so it would look like my DTI is to high... really bad. Happy that I went with a direct lender who was trust worthy, easy to work with and handled closing like a champ, not like PULTE MORTGAGE. ... More

Overall it was a great experience. One glaring criticism: We were told by our construction manager that too many people “expect perfection”. Clever way to lower our expectations and then second guess ourselves when we saw something that wasn’t as it should be.

Adam was great as our project manager. He was proactive and when we had a question he was quick with responses. The city building department for Oakland Park is very difficult to work with. He managed them as best anyone could. The city cause many delays. The quality of the build is pretty good. Adam had to follow up with subcontractors on many occasions to assure they completed their work to specifications. We are happy with the end product.

The commercial sales work is excellent but when you are already inside the constumer care response and the administration consortium service is non-existent. a real shame and absolute lack of social responsibility to be a development company for families
