Excellent Customer Service and great product. The supply chain issues / delays could have been managed better. But still extremely satisfied with the home and the Community

The homebuying process was smooth but there were some pricing issues that could have been adjusted to ensure a happier customer in the negotiating process. The entire build process was very long (not the normal 6 to 8 months at all) Delays such as permitting, issues with shortages of supplies and staffing concerns due to Covid were a big part of hold up. Despite the long wait I am truly happy with the end result and I am totally in love with my home. Still some issues to be addressed and fixed but so far they are handing these issues very well by assigning a manager to deal with all the post build issues. The quality of certain things such as cabinets could be better especially for the cost of these homes. It is my first experience with a house, time will tell how good the construction is

This was certainly an experience to remember; what should have been no more than 10 months from signing our contract to the end of our 3-months delivery estimate. Although we signed our contract at the perfect time, before everyone decided to move to Florida; COVID-19, we, along with everyone else that signed a contract in 2020 were affected by the pandemic with supply chain and construction delays that extended our wait an additional seven months from our initial estimated 3 months. However, we finally closed and we are happy with the overall construction of our home.

Great and easy to work with

Our experience was good overall and we recommend this builder.

Pulte is overall great. Elli (Sales) is the best. She always kept us updated on how the house looked until completion. You can definitely count on her being there for you. Meredith (Designer) very knowledgeble. She went above and beyond helping us select the best options that suited our intent and budget. Brett (Field) was always realistic about the field constraints, and willing to take care of any issues identified.

The materials are good quality, the workmanship sucks as well as the organization process. Different companies (not Pulte exactly) do different things like tile, paint, countertops, kitchen cabinets. That is normal when such a big company as Pulte hires subcontractors. But when it comes to the closing day you get chipped paint on the doors, baseboards, trims, your get not even paint on the walls, missed spots without paint or only one layer of paint instead of 2, missing silicone layers in the bathrooms (where they need to be), cracked sockets, cracked tiles, etc. Small touch-ups but still these are little issues that need to be fixed. So I took photos of each issue, wrote a text with an explanation of what I don't like, and sent it to the Pulte representative. Then Pulte representative will schedule appointments with those different subcontractors. But when one of them comes, he says "this is not our job, these are others, schedule an appointment with them". And on his side he does not see your photos with the issues, he has a task from Pulte "touch up countertop in the...". What this "touch up" means nobody knows, except you because only you still have photos of the issues. And when you show him a photo and the issues let's say with the countertop edge, the worker will say "Oh no, I do only silicone on the countertop, I am not responsible for countertop edges, you should schedule an appointment with another team in our company". So you then contact Pulte, explain all that and try to reschedule an appointment with the silicone layer guy. I realize that those are other companies with whom Pulte works. I can not blame Pulte 100%, but those repairs definitely take time, worker often come to the house are do not know what they need to fix exactly, so if you don't have your own list with stuff they need to fix, they will not fix anything. They like saying "We do not do that, it is not our work, schedule an appointment with painters, or any other team". That is not really convenient process of doing business, the whole thing takes time and if the homebuyer does not understand about house repairs and will not ask a ton of questions - this will take a lot of time. And as a result, you think bad about Pulte, because this is the company you bought the house from. We have now a case when the workers told Pulte representative, they came to our house to fix let's say chipped paint, and we told them we don't need their service anymore. how in the world I could say that when I still have that issue with the cracked paint and want it to be fixed. Looks like workers just try to skip some of the appointments. But once again you first think bad about Pulte and their representative will be the one whom you will tell how angry you are about this situation. Overall this is an organizational issue with subcontractors. But I still trust Pulte, is a big company and I see them building several communities in our state as well as all around USA. We are happy with our home.

As a first time home buyer, I received a great experience with Pulte. The environment, people and minimized stress in my experience has made our home worthwhile.

Given the fact that we bought a home during the peak of covid19, the overall experience from the salesperson to the general contractor in charge of building our home was pretty great. There have a been a few surprises since moving in. However, the response time to resolve those issues has been A+.

Developer is good but some contractors who build the house are really bad! Unfortunately a lot of thinks in the house are bad! Quality of the job done for paint, door installation are bad! Painting walls without covering the floor. Pulte need to check people they are hiring to build the house. They will fix everything but you have only 30 days to do that! Everything else is good!

Make sure to pick out all your options and review everything, don’t be rushed. It’s your money, wish I could go back and make some changes!

Buying and moving-in experience was fine, however quality of work sometimes is questionable as many small issues and nuances were found upon moving in. It didn't look like contractors and the builder cared much about it as long as the house was accepted by new owners. Noise isolation between units is poor, can easily hear your neighbors talking. My main problem is that inside all mobiles phones loose signal. Tested with all major mobiles carriers - signal outside 4-5 bar stable, but once you get inside, the signal drops to zero. Something is interfering with the signal inside the house, but what? I would really like Pulte to look into it as this is a major problem. ... More

Every Pulte employee involved with building our home was very reliable

Just purchased home in April at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic and haven’t moved in yet, but aside from minor glitches like tub faucet came off and some paint spots missed, everything looks good.

We are happy with our home. Quality and workmanship as good as any home I have built in past. Value is comparable to the area. Time will tell but so far so good.

Overall is okey better than other construction companies but still have issues and companies make shortcuts on materials/process but that's everywhere.

Overall, a decent experience. Great during buying process, but too many punch list issues open at closing, and still issues open a month later. For the price paid, it would be nice if there was heightened responsiveness.

Buying a new build can be scary but this process was very smooth. Our home was completed on time as promised and we had a wonderful team with Monica in sales and Kevin as our project manager. They made us feel comfortable and confident the entire process. The home is lovely and we've had no issues other than a minor plumbing issue on day one that was not followed up on (hence the 3 star) but overall it was a wonderful experience. If I ever buy/sell/move again I would very much consider a Pulte home. Thank you!

We love our new home but had some trouble during the construction process. Some of the information we were getting from our sales associate and construction manager turned out to be misleading. We had difficulty getting the construction manager to respond to us at all. His manager should have stepped in to assist if he was overloaded. The post closing support has been good from Julie. You expect a few minor issues here and there with any new construction and Julie has been very responsive.

I enjoy my new home

The entire process took 15 months from signing. Move in date changed 5 times and very hard to get exact date. When you are uprooting your entire life from another state this is very stressful. No logic between which homes get items like a roof, sliders, etc and in what order. If zero gravity sliders are so difficult to obtain they should be purchased and stored when a 25% deposit was made. On the flip side -- the quality of workmanship has been excellent and we love our new home.

Our overall homebuyer experience was good and we are happy with our home and the service extended to us throughout the process.
