Waited for a year for a new home, a lot of construction issues, pushed to close and many unresolved issues in the home. Be aware of these promises and really push closing until rectified

Very slow almost non responsive in correcting issues after the closing. I’m not talking small things. They are very slow or non responsive to correct the issues. No matter how serious they may be. Yes I repeated my self. That’s how ignored I feel.

My experience with the builder team was great. They always responded but there are things I guess are not in their control when it comes to trades. I have so much pending. So frustrating. My experience in that matter has not been the best. 30days after closing still chasing after to get trades to complete the punch list. I believe Pulte could do better with their process about building and completing.

The homebuying process was smooth but there were some pricing issues that could have been adjusted to ensure a happier customer in the negotiating process. The entire build process was very long (not the normal 6 to 8 months at all) Delays such as permitting, issues with shortages of supplies and staffing concerns due to Covid were a big part of hold up. Despite the long wait I am truly happy with the end result and I am totally in love with my home. This was certainly an experience to remember; what should have been no more than 10 months from signing our contract to the end of our 3-months delivery estimate. Although we signed our contract at the perfect time, before everyone decided to move to Florida; COVID-19, we, along with everyone else that signed a contract in 2020 were affected by the pandemic with supply chain and construction delays that extended our wait an additional seven months from our initial estimated 3 months. However, we finally closed and we are happy with the overall construction of our home.

The construction product was not to standard or what I expected. However, so far, the Customer Care Team (Liz and Tim) have been doing their best to help me fix the numerous issues. I wish the construction and closing team would have done a better job to prevent so many issues post closing specially for an almost $500,000 home. I remain hopeful that all issues will be addressed more than 1 month later and no surprises as I live in my new home.

Delays, False Promises, and Poor Trades

The build process was less than ideal. We were delayed 6 months from our original completion date. I feel that the sales consultant and field manager promised a timeline they knew they wouldn’t complete. The FM - Seth Nisall - was very combative, which resulted in a blow up in the sales office. He was immediately removed from our build, and Brett became our new FM. Brett was the only positive Pulte attribute. The electricity in the garage does not work, the water heater does not work, there are no mosquito nets on the windows. the doors are made of paper, the walls of cardboard. The neighborhood is unsafe, cars are stolen all the time and people enter the neighborhood because there are no bars and they leave the gates open. a disaster everything

We purchased our home in Dec 2020, at the beginning of the supply chain squeeze. Pulte was great about keeping us informed of our progress and new estimated completion dates as the materials shortage caused delays. In the end, their estimates were right on, and they were willing to give us "placeholder" appliances just so we could have our home on time. Overall, our experiences with our Sales Rep and Building Manager were both great. They do what they can to make your dream home happen, and I feel like we're friends at the end of this process.

Selling personnel is excellent. Finishing with poor quality, since day one I notice cracks, paint is needed in many areas. Kitchen cabinet door waiting to be replaced. I closed now more than two months ago and still pending to fix the list of cosmetic items.

Our home buying experience was a train wreck, especially as we got closer to closing. It seemed to be first time any member of the Pulte team had gone through this process. Our sales agent was nowhere to be found, the field manager could not be reached, and the closing team was unaware that the home was incomplete on our scheduled closing day. On closing day, they were still cutting tiles to lay inside. We had a list of issues that were brought to the field managers attention over a month before closing that went unaddressed. They did not finish the house and fix what was missing. Some examples no bathrooms mirrors, No water in the refrigerator, Details, etc etc... I close a month ago and they haven't fixed the things they had to fix. I haven't move yet and the closing was a month ago. My advice is before you close make sure they have finish everything, because you will have to make appointments and appointment to get it fixed and it takes lots of time. I think this should be easier since people dream is to buy their house. But ended up being stressful. Thank you.

We love our home now but we still have a punch list that hasn’t been resolved. Communication during the process was terrible. Went through three different project managers. Constant delays and days with out any progress on home during the building stages.
