Five weeks without range oven & still waiting for repair However, Pulte are above average when compared to other builders

The experience was pretty good pre closing; once we closed on the house, getting timely responses from the Home Care Manager is frustrating at times. The Home Care Manager is having to fix workmanship issues that should have been addressed by the builder. The builder doesn't do a good job in paying attention to the final details just prior to the new owners moving in. All efforts 72 hours prior to the new owners moving in should be for the builder to go throughout the entire house to make sure everything is done right and to standard.

The home was delivered to me 6 weeks later than original closing date with so many problems. It is 8 weeks and I am still getting things fixed in the home. To give an example the door knows were placed on backwards and I was stuck in the bathroom for over 1 hour. I finally got the refrigerator and it is also broken . The floors were full of paint (fixed and cleaned they look great now). So many other issues who puts in a bath tub without sealing around it. The AC was broken. Among so many other issues. They are fixing everything but taking time from work is not conducive anymore

The handover of the house was very confusing as there were several changes in dates. And after the move, a leak appeared in the bathroom from the master suite to the bedroom downstairs and it has been 20 days without a solution, asking for a deadline for the tiles to arrive.

Overall with the protect manager was excellent if I would buy another property with PULTE yes construction quality a plus.

the closing experience was not so good, from our keys being lost to not have a customer service rep reach out to us at all! Nevertheless the overall home quality was very good, but customer services is definitely an area of opportunity.

I love my home but my experience has not been good with getting answer from the project people on getting answers. I was not left any paint for touch ups and have asked everyone they tell me they will check into it but no response. I moved in on 8/13/2021 it has been 2 month with no answer I have spoken with Javier and Julie and nothing.

A few members of the team are not good at their job, made the sales process/process for waiting for the home painful. Construction manager was great

The onsite sales team were great to work with - very professional and helpful. They exemplify a brand of excellence. Kudos to the onsite sales team ! I cannot say the same with the construction side. My home was originally scheduled to close in June and eventually it closed near the end of September. I understood this was due to the sliding glass door and window parts being fabricated outside the USA as well as some issues with the distributor resulting in Pulte not being able to obtain the parts to finish the job as originally scheduled. It is also my opinion that the windows and sliding doors are not the best quality that could have been used. Pulte scheduled the closing while there were still issues to be resolved such as bedroom windows that could not be locked, and window frame closure strips and screens were not installed prior to closing. During the walk through several windows broke upon opening them and they had to be repaired. The ceramic wall tile in the guest shower was improperly installed where the ceramic tile window sill was installed "above" the aluminum window sill making it impossible for the aluminum closure strips for the windows to be installed. This will require the shower tile to be cut out so that a new corian sill can be installed to be below the aluminum window sill - all of this I have to deal with after I had already moved in. In addition my home inspector noted an electrical safety issue with exposed wires on the motor for the garage door opener which still has not been covered. When I pointed out the exposed electrical wire to Pulte's onsite construction manager, he responded "they are all like that and that is how it is." The post closing customer service team has been good to work with at scheduling to get these items fixed. ... More

My experience with the builder team was great. They always responded but there are things I guess are not in their control when it comes to trades. I have so much pending. So frustrating. My experience in that matter has not been the best. 30days after closing still chasing after to get trades to complete the punch list. I believe Pulte could do better with their process about building and completing.

The construction product was not to standard or what I expected. However, so far, the Customer Care Team (Liz and Tim) have been doing their best to help me fix the numerous issues. I wish the construction and closing team would have done a better job to prevent so many issues post closing specially for an almost $500,000 home. I remain hopeful that all issues will be addressed more than 1 month later and no surprises as I live in my new home.

Both the salesman and the Engineer did a fine job but Pulte Management sold me a property and is now trying to take a portion of this land. Not only I paid for the lot, they want me to take on liability for a section of this property to be used for the benfit of the community.

Very happy with the house we customized. It took us one 13 months to finally close it from signature to signature. Pulte team very friendly and helpful… until closing. After closing you get to deal with customer care, which is almost inexistant. Every touch up they promised to fix after closing are still pending (5 weeks after closing).

Our sales agent, Zorinel, was great. We should have taken more time looking at all the options for lots and size of homes. But, at the end of the day we are happy with the floor plan we chose but we could have chosen a bigger lot. The construction process was very difficult not only because of the lack of people to work and lack of supplies but we had a very bad experience with the back sliding doors. Somebody screwed up big time with these. The doors were bigger that the frame of concrete and therefore they had to break the concrete to fit the doors. It took maybe 6 months for the doors to be installed. The end result is not what we expected. There are hollow areas where critters can come through. There is still a lot of stucco to be applied to the framing and it's been 2 months since we closed and it has not been taken care of. Our field manager during the entire construction process, Adam, did everything he could to deliver the house in the best condition. Very hard working person. Julie and Robert are helping us with the issues that need attention and have done a good job. ... More

We love our home now but we still have a punch list that hasn’t been resolved. Communication during the process was terrible. Went through three different project managers. Constant delays and days with out any progress on home during the building stages.

The overall design of the community is great. However, the interior design of the units can be improved. Geometry and symmetry were not a priority for the designers. The have windows that are not centered on the walls or two windows with different distances from the edge walls, etc. The lighting design/installation follows the same. They were installed with very little thought. Finishes on paint, and sealers were also full of defects that I had to correct myself.

There were several issues from the closing process to finally moving in the home with several different things incomplete or never addressed during the building process. Currently still undergoing finishing touches to the home by the builder.

We cannot lock our sliding glass patio door, we do not have access to our addict door, we cannot program our smart door lock. It's frustrating these thing takes so long.

Builders lack of interest or responsiveness to resolving issues after home is handed over materials used in home thats are cheap quality for high price paid such as wall paint etc .

would like to make sure that buyers check everything when they do their walkthrough to be sure builder is aware of any repairs that need to be taken care of.

The built process started ok, the foundation was laid without letting me know, so by the time I learned about it, it was already laid so I missed the opportunity to see the first step. Then the whole process went as offered time wise but the materials and the workmanship has been poor, walls crooked and with lots of paint drippings and scratches, finishes with multiple problems, the cabinets in all kitchen and bathrooms of really poor quality and workmanship, crooked or scratched. There was a big bump on the border of the roof above the garage door that the PM didn't see either, that had to be repaired. All the outside walls had multiple cement and pain drips that needed to be repaired. All the vents and bathroom fans are of incredibly low quality, so be ready to replace them all, the upgrade options were limited and poor, no flooring option but carpet for second floor, I upgraded to the smooth of the walls and it was done very poorly, so I have to invest money in repairing them, the customer services even try to excuse the bad quality because this is a process done by hand. The problem is that I had remodel a whole house before and they seemed to believe they can fool me. Make sure to be on top of your construction, specially on top of your Project Manager, mine was not reliable, I had to constantly point out things that were done wrong, and submit pictures to get them corrected, even the kitchen cabinets had scratches like they were used before, and they didn't get replaced up until I moved. The refrigerator of the brand for all other appliances in the kitchen didn't have water/ice dispenser so I had to choose another brand, and I had purchase the built-in option for the kitchen and the cabinet was not corrected to align with the different height of the other brand refrigerator. Also the glass on the master bathroom shower was taken out to repair something else and then re-installed so poorly it was unacceptable, and it was only re-installed when I let the Project Manager know. The screen in the patio was also poorly installed and later replaced but only after I had moved in. After I moved I was expected to go through the house and mark the parts that needed repair with blue tape, it was a lot of time invested, so make sure you go through the house every week and document everything. I unfortunately had a death in the family I was away for 5-6 weeks, that I missed so it accumulated. I would not have moved in until all was corrected but my closing was delayed and my other home sold very quickly, so I had no choice. Make sure you have plenty of time to go through the house before moving in to ensure all gets repaired before you move in. Now, that I have opened about 50K additionally the house is up to the standards I should have received it in the first place. Solid 3/5 not more not less.

Pulte has failed with the quality of the details. There are so many little things wrong it seems that vendors were not supervised and the finishing details were missed all over.

We purchased a spec home that was supposedly completed. Upon possession we found a bunch of issues that were not completed or poorly completed. Lots of paint, trim, glass, tile, paver, landscaping and other issues. Upon contacting them to correct I started getting the run around. In addition trying to work through their "warranty" dept has been an additional issue. I had to escalate these issues to get get any response and I'm still waiting after weeks for resolution.
