Willingness to please the customer

Really take the time to understand your design as you won't be able to make any changes down the road. They aim to please but with so much activity, it's hard to get things done right the first time out of the gate. PM was exceptional.

Build process was fine and Pulte Build Supervisor was very responsive. Basic house construction is good. Detail work not as good. Sub come backs required to fix poor quality initial workmanship. Pulte warranty representative is also very responsive to work through the sub schedule. Overall, even with the finish issues, house is very nice. Landscaping was really nice.

buying process was good. Option selection process good. Quality controll was not satisfactory. Too many issues found by buyer which should have been picked up by Pulte. Punch list slow fixes and not good followup. example stucco fixed but no one came back to paint. expensive fridge was installed poorly but fix made was poor and missed that top of fridge eqipment door was split and needed to be replaced

The process was very organized up to the purchasing process. Coordination of items that needed to be repaired or fixed could have been prevented if reviewed with sub contractors. Scheduling for warranty issues could have been more organized

The loan office individuals were very helpful and quick to respond. Our project manager Rich did a good Job in keep us updated on the process. Some repairs items could have been prevented if the project manager/customer services manager were given more time to review and walkthrough property prior to pre close walkthrough. The customer services manager has been responsive. The warranty issue process of getting things scheduled or vendors showing up unannounced was a little frustrating and I think could have been improved with coordination or systems on the back end. This is not the Fault of ...

Pulte overall is a good builder, however, when I had brought things to their attention after my house was built, I felt that I did not get very responsive scheduling of these items. I am still following up on work that needs to be completed from my punch list. I had a subcontractor that was scheduled to come to my house to complete work today after I took off just did not show up. I don't blame Pulte directly for this but I do not feel that they should work with such unprofessional contractors. I was not contacted at all and had to call the warranty department to inform them of the no ...

Pulte Homes - QUALITY CONTROL should be much better.

QUALITY CONTROL should be much better. Some sub-contractors do not clean up messes they made to material that was previous installed. Pulte personal do not seem to check after them to see they have done the job right or cleaned up afterwards.

Ever since I have moved into my new home, all I seem to do is clean up some kind of sticky goo off the non carpeted floors. My windows are filthy. The pre move in cleaning was just not up to par.

My home was a “rush” job to close on 40-50 homes at one time. I’ve had nothing but frustration and aggravation from the day I moved in. The finishing is horrendous and I don’t even know where to begin. My white tile floors have residue from grout and tape that cannot be washed off. A crew was sent in to hand clean the mess but it did not solve the problem. I’m still waiting for the floors to be acid washed. That is only one of the issues. The grouting in the shower floor was so bad I actually cut my toe on it. The cabinets throughout need a facial lift because mitered edges are separating. ...

Several Issues

The number of issues with home quality is not acceptable for a million dollar home. The electrical issues have been constant for several months. There workmanship is below average in many areas. The field reps were professional but clear in their lack of ongoing concern. Very disappointed thus far in many facets.

All tile it looks like grade school kids done the work. All bedroom tiles were not level, when they put grout in it was just as bad the tile. Sale person put us down for extra long extension lani and never got that. Our lot is lower than the neighbors and water lays in the back yard. very pour design. For the money its comparable to a $350,000 house very little closet or storage space

We are not happy with how they respond to issues. We did not know trenches were going to be dug looks like the neighborhood is ready to go to war in some areas. Also they ran our HVAC though consecution and been over a month no response to anything, I am now going to have to get an attorney involved in the issue as they won't even get back to us. All 3 units need a pull and clean and one is not even working properly in the back. So all 4 units have issues. SO far a horrible experience as I thought we were just going to be a number for them. once the home is sold the charm goes away.

Our initial buying experience was great. The sales process was organized and simple. Due to turnover of the sales team, we fell through the cracks on many fronts. Our project manager Kristopher was great up to closing, however with issues that were not fixed prior to closing they have yet to be addressed, and now I am getting crickets. Very concerning, in not receiving any insight etc.

This will be my last time buying or referring to buy a Pulte home. This is my third home and the most expensive one. Quality is down, mostly the finishes of the house. All the hardwood work in the house, door frames, ceileing molding, door finished is so bad that I will need to hire my own carpenter. I don’t see Pulte fixing all the issues

The buying process was good, although some information requested that would have helped in our decision making process were not disclosed. Don't be fooled, it is sales. The building process was very good, Jared was excellent keeping us update to date and responding to our concerns and issues. After closing, the response of the 30 day warranty team leaves a lot to be desired. Attention to issues and timeliness was poor. If not for our persistence I don't know when issues would be addressed. This department needs to be improved.

Pulte started out with a bang but began to fizzle out after our commitment to buy was signed. Our sales representative, Hanna, was excellent and had a firm grip on steering us through the buy/build process step by step, with weekly updates & pictures of the how things were progressing, but then was moved to another Pulte location and we were passed off to others within Pulte at our location. Things went downhill rapidly from there. Several weeks at a time would pass without contact from anyone at Pulte, "just the sound of crickets," before we had to reach out to them for any progress updates. ...

For what we paid…we are shocked at how many problems we have. A punch list is expected, but you’re only as good as your subs. And they are terrible. House was filthy upon moving in…walls/pillars visibly not straight…many windows had scrape marks on the trims…paint all over our wood floors which also had quite a few dings (and this was a very expensive upgrade)…pocket doors scraping the jambs (both of which have visible damage)…many broken roof tiles, etc. The list is too long, and many of these things should have been caught by our super (who we like very much) if he had only spent a few ...

Beware of the workmanship, we closed on our home and there were a ton of things that weren’t completed, things that were rushed leaving the job itself looking like it was done by inexperienced contractors or that they just rushed to get things done as fast as possible. First day in the home we had a leak in the wall that once they discovered where the leak was coming from it was a screw that punctured a pipe and then was covered up with tape! The grout in the master bathroom began completely falling out in week 1 of being in the home. Some of the appliances we picked out weren’t what we asked ...

Buyer should be aware that fix up items that are done post closing are items that should’ve been done pre-closing but are deemed to be warranty work when in fact they aren’t broken… they were just left incomplete

Communication from start until after purchase is very poor. No one in the company returns phone calls, text messages or emails. From the on site sales agent who we first spoke with. pulte finance could not provide a break down of closing costs or current mortgage rates. Pulte could or would not provide advance estimated time line on a closing date in order to lock in a mortgage interest rate. We tried after closing to get ahold the builder to ask a couple questions, no response. the customer care rep standing in our kitchen saying they would not nickel and dime us over getting issues fixed, ...

Since we moved into our new home we had sewage backup into our house twice, The new stove wasn't working correctly. it took an hour to bring a can of soup to a slow boil. The Pulte rep said the range was not supposed to turn red and said it was working correctly. When we tried to start the oven it started making a loud grinding noise, sparking and smoking. the Whirlpool technician that came out said that it was wired correctly, We had electric sockets that did not work, the paint on the walls looks like it was painted by a five-year-old. We have palms that fell over in the storm that were not ...

We settled mid April , still waiting on lamp light( all new homes have the light, )we were told the light would be installed three weeks ago. Still waiting on refrigerator and wine fridge.
