We have been closed and in our home for almost 50 days and have yet to receive shower glass and missing a grate in our room housing our AHU. We were originally told it will take 25 days to receive the glass and have received no real update. We have no idea when we will receive this glass. We were under the assumption when buying a new build home, that home would be complete.

This is my third Pulte home. I would have liked to have seen more flexibility with choices and changes. For example, we wanted to make a change to the tile on top of our spa, after the home was started, and we were told no. The pool company was willing to make the change since it was started....but Pulte sales said no. Pulte needs to be more flexible and offer some higher quality upgrades.

Even though it’s a new home, get a home inspector. We did and they found several things that Pulte missed or didn’t make sure they were corrected.

Our sales rep., Gita Adib, was lovely and very helpful. Our field manager, Shawn Turner, was very nice and responsive to our concerns. We have to say that after closing, responsiveness is NOT good. We were given 30 days from closing to email a list with cosmetic concerns that we wanted addressed. Most, if not all, of our concerns were noted at our "Celebration" walk through and not taken care of. We just built a home through Pulte in Estero Florida. We went with Pulte because it was either them or Lenar in our HOA. I think the process went very well but certain things that we have experienced recently are the reasons for the mixed review. When the builder did a walk they with me he gave me his number and told me as I discovered items that need attention to let him know. Well, he doesn’t answer his phone nor does he return messages. The Pulti warranty company doesn’t answer the phone either. I feel like I’m being ignored.

After living in our home for 6 weeks we are disappointed with Pulte builders. Their advertising/marketing is a lie. Poor quality of materials used, poor workmanship, subcontractors do not take pride in their work. Interior work looks as if Pulte hired 8th grade students. Poor choice for included appliances, the cheapest money can buy. We did not have a choice to supply our own appliances. Customer Care is non responsive. I will not recommend Pulte to anyone.

This was our second build with Pulte. There were issues from the very beginning, starting with the Project Manager who was totally clueless. Quality and workmanship from the subs was drastically different from only 3 years ago. We had to stay on top of things daily and supplied pics and letters to PM. Really take the time to understand your design as you won't be able to make any changes down the road. They aim to please but with so much activity, it's hard to get things done right the first time out of the gate. PM was exceptional.

Build process was fine and Pulte Build Supervisor was very responsive. Basic house construction is good. Detail work not as good. Sub come backs required to fix poor quality initial workmanship. Pulte warranty representative is also very responsive to work through the sub schedule. Overall, even with the finish issues, house is very nice. Landscaping was really nice.

The loan office individuals were very helpful and quick to respond. Our project manager Rich did a good Job in keep us updated on the process. Some repairs items could have been prevented if the project manager/customer services manager were given more time to review and walkthrough property prior to pre close walkthrough. The customer services manager has been responsive. The warranty issue process of getting things scheduled or vendors showing up unannounced was a little frustrating and I think could have been improved with coordination or systems on the back end. It is a well built home. The appliances, especially the refrigerator and cooktop are terrible! No ice or water on outside of frig. Cooktop scratched after one use. Fingerprints everywhere! Frig to all bathroom faucets. They don’t tell you the pool does NOT come with a heater! $4,000 wrapped into a 30 year mtg would not be a big deal but huge expense when moving in. Doors are cheap,not solid

We love our home but the trades all did a haphazard job in the house and lacked really finishing the job. Some walls not painted in closets, wrong color grout/caulk, crooked lights, drywall issues, etc. Be ready to GC your follow up work and expect lots of no shows

Overall it has been a good experience. The challenges are with supply chain issues and communications/dealing with replacements after closing. The coordination is not explained and the homeowner is responsible for dealing with items that need to be replaced. For example, my refrigerator has been a pain to have replaced. Also, due to supply chain issues, I had to find a contractor to do epoxy in the garage. While he came highly recommended by someone at Pulte, he did a mediocre job.
