Avoid Pulte at all costs

Starting with Mark our sales agent he misrepresented many issues. Especially the closing. We were force to live in Airbnb for 3 months at 3x price of our mortgage. The quality of the build is a disaster, our windows are so misaligned we could not put in blinded. Doors are different heights, garage doors were broken and 6weeks later not fixed. The grass was dead on arrival. Tommy, our finally construction manager did everything humanly possible to help but there were to many problems. I warn anyone not to buy from Pulte. Oh, the dog park in Verdana Village is so small no one uses it.

Absolutely the worst home buying experience i have ever been a part of. Was mislead throughout the entire process. It was like a bait and switch scheme throughout the process. Was lead to believe my home would have items like keyless locks, garage floor epoxy, pendent lighting to name a few. When I got to the house after closing none of that was present. I was told those items were not included despite them being in the spec sheet for the house. I was never told they would not be included. Pulte is clearly a quantity, not quality type company. Our home in Wild Blue was a JOKE. Justin forced us to close without mirrors or glass in the bathrooms. The entire house is full of nicks in the walls, unfinished trim work, paint on everything (not just the walls). It is the epitome of sloppy. Getting someone to care once you’ve closed - nearly impossible, unless you make your way up the chain to superiors. Justin must have mentioned his “survey” ten times insisting he didn’t want to lose his #1 spot. While Justin is a nice guy, the only reason he is #1 is because he asks you to do ...

If you're looking for a builder that will do just enough to get by, then Pulte is your builder. Throughout the sales process, they tell you about their quality promise and all the steps they'll take to ensure a quality build. Then at each and every step of the way, they'll fail to even come close. We've been in our home for 6 weeks now. The week before we closed, our third-party inspector turned in a 30 page report of defects to be addressed. Absolutely no action was taken. The experience was horrible. The loan and home insurance was terrible with several different and unexplained quotes, unanswered calls, and errors. There is zero quality of workmanship and materials. Everything is damaged in some way from improper handling and no care taken to prevent damage. Some examples are : driveway pavers have paint and roof mortar, unevenly framed walls that have humps and curves, paint and caulk on the tile floors and grout, dull paint finish on my kitchen cabinetry, scratches on my windows, stains on my master tub, unlevel window sills by up to an inch from corner to ...

Quality of craftsmanship inside POOR. Very Sound structure.

Pulte builds a SOLID structure. The quality of the inside craftsmanship is more like I’m moving into a remodeled home. Or let me put it this way, when I buy a new car I expect a NEW CAR, without a scratch on it. Or I bought my home based on the Model home. Pulte would never sell homes based on the craftsmanship of my home. The paint job is horrible, clumps of paint, heavy brush strokes, uneven walls, the baseboards (not wood but MDF Cardboard) are grainy, spray painted the dirt on the floor onto the baseboards. The home was not completed, had a gigantic list of cosmetic issues that weren't small. Very poor quality build, Pulte as a whole can care less about customer service. I would never recommend a Pulte home to anyone that I know and I would never consider purchasing a Pulte home in the future in any capacity. My advice.. Run....
