After living in our home for 6 weeks we are disappointed with Pulte builders. Their advertising/marketing is a lie. Poor quality of materials used, poor workmanship, subcontractors do not take pride in their work. Interior work looks as if Pulte hired 8th grade students. Poor choice for included appliances, the cheapest money can buy. We did not have a choice to supply our own appliances. Customer Care is non responsive. I will not recommend Pulte to anyone.

Gita got us started. Answered our questions. Tiffany was construction manager and she was GREAT. Her responsiveness and attention to detail was unparalleled!! If you build in Verdana with Pulte, ask for Tiffany!!

Meh on workmanship, lots of fixing or corrections needed after close. Communication is lacking and they are inflexible throughout the process. Most likely my one and only purchase from Pulte.

Pulte started out with a bang but began to fizzle out after our commitment to buy was signed. Our sales representative, Hanna, was excellent and had a firm grip on steering us through the buy/build process step by step, with weekly updates & pictures of the how things were progressing, but then was moved to another Pulte location and we were passed off to others within Pulte at our location. Things went downhill rapidly from there. Several weeks at a time would pass without contact from anyone at Pulte, "just the sound of crickets," before we had to reach out to them for any progress updates. We made several trips to the build site from Virginia to see the actual progress and were given excuses, promises and an attitude when there or had questions and concerns. The week before closing, a walkthrough was conducted with many of the discrepancies still untouched a week later at closing. After closing, another walkthrough was conducted with the Pulte Customer Service representative, of which the discrepancy list is still being worked off 60 days later, with some discrepancies being passed off to the HOA. If we had known how Pulte "really" conducts business, they talk the talk, but they do NOT walk the walk, we would have considered looking elsewhere. Maybe my standards are too high, as I would hope yours would be, but I'm sorry to say, if you choose Pulte, be ready to become just another number in Pulte's vast portfolio, so be ready to get frustrated with how they do business. ... If you are looking to be fully informed throughout your home buying experience then think twice about Pulte. We were told we could not speak to the construction manager throughout the home build. We were told everything had to go through the sales agent. This was a nightmare. We had asked for sample tiles in the beginning and never received them until a few weeks from closing. The sales agent was pushy when it came down to the down payment and even forced us to wait three days to sign our contract because they had hit their sales number for the month. Carl; The finish quality of our Pulte home is above average. In addition the custom home Project Manager Lester Corzo is nothing but outstanding. My wife and I have had 4 homes built the Pulte home overall product says it all. If I ever decide to build another home Pulte would be our choice. I will recommend Pulte to anyone who asks.

Although there were some construction issues, as in most new homes, Pulte addressed them and corrected them promptly. The warranty team has also been proactive in promptly correcting any issues as well.

The entire team from Pulte was extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous throughout the entire home purchase. We were updated throughout with pictures at various stages. Buying our home from Pulte was seamless. From our initial contact with Dylan our sales rep to the after Customer Care rep Kevin, the service has been phenomenal. There were a few minor issues as your would expect with a new build. Customer care responded immediately and got the issues resolved with no questions asked. I would highly recommend Pulte to anyone and will definitely do business with them in the future if we ever decide to sell our beautiful home!

Follow up on issues could be better. They provide a date when contractors should return to fix things but they show up at different dates / times.

Easy and hassle free experience

This was my third home build and by far was the best experience I’ve had. McKenzie my sales contact was excellent and always very responsive. Mitch, my construction manager, was by far one of the best people I have worked with. He is a man of his word and followed through on all his promises. His attention to detail is stellar and just what a customer needs for peace of mind. Overall a great experience and I LOVE my new home!

Pulteney provided and amazing home buying experience from start to finish! Sammy and Israel provided us all of the information we needed to pick the perfect lot and home for our family! They continued to give us updates including pictures of the homes progress and were with us every step of the way! Our home is stunning and there is no lack of quality! I'm disappointed in the quality of the workmanship. I bought a new home because I did not want to go through the renovation process. The quality of the workmanship has required me to contact Pulte for repairs. The longer I live here the more I see. It disappoints me to have to do this.

There were several major issues with my home which caused closing to get pushed back multiple times. My original construction manager Terran was not helpful at all and tried to get me to close on an unsatisfactory home. He was only interested in being rated a 9 or 10 and not in actually helping me fix the problems with my home. I had to go above him, to his boss Jordan, and only then did my buying experience begin to take a positive turn. Unfortunately, because there were so many major problems with my home, several minor things did not get addressed before closing. I think pulte prioritizes their build to sell over people coming in to build from scratch but that’s my real only gripe . The team I worked with to build my house especially my project manager Dylan was absolutely amazing. He always was very attentive and responsive almost immediately. Even now a couple things ( nothing wild ) have popped up and he still has been involved . Highly recommend their building team . Worth every penny .

Just make sure you get clarification on everything

THE ENTIRE PROCESS WAS MADE EASY FROM START TO CLOSING.

The frustrations began day 1 with a sales team that didn’t respond or follow up to our conversations and inquiries. Many items changed, including appliances, changed after we had signed. The process took double the amount of time we were told it would take, while homes on our street that were sold months after, caught and passed our process. Mistake after mistake, no accountability, and no communication from our sales team. They’re not really a sales team, more of an order taker team that loses touch after you sign.

Being in the construction business we came away somewhat appalled at the lack of communication and the lack of workmanship from the start of the home to the closing of the house. The house was not in move in condition when we had to close which in turn took numerous days to clean before moving in!

Right from the sales team to the construction manager I must say that they are great. Very helpful and they keep us updated on the progress of our home. Also the warranty follow up representative is very good and on top of correcting all of our problems.
