Our experience with Pulte Homes as the builder of our new home was incredibly disappointing. What should have been an exciting and memorable chapter in our lives turned into a stressful and frustrating ordeal. We were the very first residents to move into the community, which made our experience even more disheartening. We expected to be taken care of better as the pioneer homeowners, but that was far from our reality. To make matters worse, when we finally gained access to our new home, the house was dirty, far from the move-in ready condition we had anticipated. It has taken extensive cleaning to make it habitable. Additionally, we were greeted by a 1-inch gap under the front door, a clear oversight that compromised energy efficiency and security. Shockingly, it took almost a month for Pulte Homes to address and rectify this issue, leaving our home exposed to the elements and security risks during that time. It was an unacceptable delay in resolving a basic structural flaw. During the construction process, we encountered numerous delays and subpar workmanship, which cast serious doubts on Pulte's commitment to quality. What was even more disheartening was that I, as the homeowner, consistently had to identify flaws that should have been caught by the construction manager. This lack of attention to detail and quality control caused further delays. The inspection revealed a large number of issues, suggesting that quality had been overlooked at every turn. Addressing these problems became an uphill battle, with Pulte Homes displaying a disappointing lack of accountability. The closing process was marred by miscommunication and unexpected delays, leaving us wondering if Pulte Homes was truly invested in ensuring a smooth transition into our new home. Shockingly, after closing, we had no working keys for two weeks, making our move-in even more chaotic and frustrating. To add to the list of issues, multiple items in the home weren't installed as listed, and we now have to schedule them after the fact. This will impact my work schedule and result in a significant loss of time and productivity. Furthermore, the back door didn't lock properly, raising concerns about security and safety. Even though we brought these issues to Pulte's attention, their responsiveness to our concerns was lackluster until we involved the warranty department. Our entire experience with Pulte Homes, from the loan process through construction, inspection, and beyond, was riddled with disappointments and frustrations. Instead of our dream home, we find ourselves with a source of stress and discontent. It's disheartening to witness a company of Pulte's reputation falling so short in delivering on its promises. We share this review to alert others to the challenges we have, and still do face, including the surprising need for homeowners to identify construction flaws, the inconvenience of scheduling post-closing installations, and the disappointment of not receiving better treatment as the first residents in the community, along with the initial cleanliness and maintenance issues, and the significant delay in addressing structural problems, so they can make informed decisions. ... Overall I would avoid building with pulte. The quality of the home is poor. We have walls with giant waves in them due to poor craftsmanship. The cabinets feel cheap and are falling apart already and we upgraded them. The stair treads look rushed and show gaps and look bad. The trim work is terrible. The painters left paint splattered everywhere inside and out. They painted over nails sticking out of the trim. The tiling has multiple cracks already in the grout and a few chips they tried hiding in the tiles. The ac was not installed correctly. This is a common trend with the neighbors as well. The electrical is terrible, if you plug a coffee machine or anything into an outlet it causes the can lights to flicker. This house was not cheap and seeing the quality of work really makes you feel sick. When it comes to the communication or lack there of don’t expect a clear answer from anyone at pulte. We had sales reps lye to use about landscaping and things that could be done. Our contractor seemed to know nothing about the house or the layout. They lied multiple times about things being installed and never got installed. They blamed most of the problems on the trade companies used but the blame is on pulte for hiring such lousy companies. The claim center is extremely hard to get ahold of someone to fix the issues after the fact and when they do they send people in to bandaid the problems. Have nothing good to say -- I'd be happy to write a stellar review if anyone followed through and if anyone had a plan to remediate all the issues.

The experience with Pulte Homes was horrible. We’ve had numerous issues and many have taken a long time to fix and some will probably never get fixed. The attention to detail when doing the finishing was not done at all. Painting and caulking are just to name a few. We had electrical issues and a major drainage problem in our backyard that still has not been corrected. We expected somethings would need to be corrected in a new home but ours was over the top.

Terrible experience!! They don't pay their bill. I would never ever recommend this builder to my worst enemy!!!

I love my home and lot, but am very disappointed in the lack of transparency and full disclosure on my issues
