We worked with Gretchen and Nate who were throughout the whole building process and they were both amazing. It was so easy to communicate with them and they were always 100% honest with us. We are very satisfied with the finished product and we recomend Pulte Homes to anyone out there is looking to buy a new house. 5/5 stars.

As the title states, quality of workmanship is below average for a $600,000 house. Drywall and paint leading the way for some of the worst quality the minute you walk through the door. $30000.00 worth of flooring that buckles and cracks when you walk on it and the electrical lighting system that consistently flickers on one side of the house. This is the fifth NEW house that we have purchased and the first and last from Pulte. We started with a DR Horton home which had higher quality control standards than this house. Followed by Rylan homes, Collins Brothers and finally Pulte. To set a clear understanding we are not extremely picky customers. So much so I haven’t put one repair ticket in because I don’t have the faith in their subcontractors to do a better job a second time around. Some might ask if all of the other builders did a better job. Why didn’t we stick with them? Because location and timelines narrowed the path with the timeframe we were looking to be completed. In the end, there were some concessions with pricing that were made based on the final product, which was agreed-upon on both sides, which will cover the cost of some of these repairs. But overall with the constant upsell tactics from all the other Pulte sister companies from the mortgage lender to the insurance provider to the design studio really don’t help the Pulte brand name. ... From our first introduction to Pulte (Cheryl) selecting options (Priya) construction of our home (Dustin) management (Matt) and follow-up warranty (David) our experience has been wonderful. The end result is a beautiful home which we are so happy to be in. Pulte is an exceptional company. The Pulte employees who worked with us are the best.

This was about an average experience. We paid for a full home and got an almost completed one. It's still not completed from items identified months ago. Communication was submitted oar to start became very good near closing and has become almost non existent again. Pulte basically acts as a scheduler for a lot of sub contractors. So I strongly recommend yiu pay for a pre drywall inspection, a pre close inspection, and try to get an expert to come woth yiubduring the walk through. If yiur walk through dorsnt take 4+ hours, I guarantee you are missing something and it's a real pain to get something corrected after closing. I highly recommend finding a construction or inspector for the walk through too or getting a friend or anyone and paying them for their time so they actually help. The more eyes, the better because there are going to be lots of issues and everyone might find something you didn't. My wallk through had over 50 corrective items on there. ... More

I have been working directly with many builders over the years. I knew Pulte was the one I trusted to build my next home for my family. I was not treated as another number or another sale. I was treated like family and a valued customer. If I had questions, I knew they would get answered in a timely manner. They worked with me knowing I had a lease locked in at the start of the sale and made sure I was in before it was up.

Overall I would avoid building with pulte. The quality of the home is poor. We have walls with giant waves in them due to poor craftsmanship. The cabinets feel cheap and are falling apart already and we upgraded them. The stair treads look rushed and show gaps and look bad. The trim work is terrible. The painters left paint splattered everywhere inside and out. They painted over nails sticking out of the trim. The tiling has multiple cracks already in the grout and a few chips they tried hiding in the tiles. The ac was not installed correctly. This is a common trend with the neighbors as well. The electrical is terrible, if you plug a coffee machine or anything into an outlet it causes the can lights to flicker. This house was not cheap and seeing the quality of work really makes you feel sick. When it comes to the communication or lack there of don’t expect a clear answer from anyone at pulte. We had sales reps lye to use about landscaping and things that could be done. Our contractor seemed to know nothing about the house or the layout. They lied multiple times about things being installed and never got installed. They blamed most of the problems on the trade companies used but the blame is on pulte for hiring such lousy companies. The claim center is extremely hard to get ahold of someone to fix the issues after the fact and when they do they send people in to bandaid the problems. The overall build of the house is great. Although there are a few things that need to be repaired but that was to be expected. The overall buying process was a bit tedious at times, to the point that we wanted to walk away. Now that we are in the house, getting issues resolved has been a bit of a task. I am overall pleased with the final product but the little things which could make this an excellent experience have not be dealt with very well.

Please with most of the workmanship. When we had minor issues within our first month, response was swift. We are very please with our new Pulte home.

Jennifer and Gigi were awesome and made this relocation process so easy. We love our new home and couldn’t be happier!

We have had a wonderful experience with Pulte builders. We had a punch list of a few incidental repairs, no big deal, and they have responded quickly and efficiently with every issue that we have had. The home is built with extreme care and quality of workmanship. I am very proud of my new home!

Jen has not responded to my email, texts, nor calls. I’m still waiting on my refund for hotel and truck expenses. I was not able to move in my house on the closing day.

Consistent delays and poor communication up front. Once our Project Manager was fired, things turned around, but the damage has already been done.

I would recommend pulte to any family member or friend.

The buying process was smooth with no issues. Construction management was awful when it came to the framing of the home; forcing a change in construction site management. However, once the those problems were corrected the final product is beautiful.

My husband and I bought our first home about a month ago with Pulte. We ended up buying a spec home that was ready for move-in within a month. Gigi our construction manager was amazing and worked diligently to complete all items on our list from our personal walk through and our private inspection list prior to closing. Overall we were very happy with the process of buying a Pulte home for our first home.

Nice experience. No issues

I was pretty excited for this house, but as time past and I saw how it was being built, that feeling of 'this is a perfect home' faded. Don't get me wrong, the quality of the pieces of the home feel good (flooring is great, hardware is good when it's not painted over, and overall layout is perfect) but the workmanship involved in putting it all together seemed sub par and rushed. This is the second home over purchased and the cost this time was significantly more, so my expectations were equally as high. In terms of the structural quality, I have no doubts it's solid. In terms of the drywall and after work, I'm not as pleased. One of the major issues was the house was painted incorrectly and went unnoticed until I said something. This led to hardware outside the home being painted around which effects the finished look. On top of that, the weeks before closing had a hard freeze and nearly all the landscaping died. I made the report immediately as the house looked awful. It's been about a month and a half with no fix or follow up. For as much as we paid for this home, I felt the list of issues post closing is too lengthy. The rate at which the issues are currently being addressed is still to be determined. I'm sure everything will be fixed in the end, but knowing that I have to do the work to get everything fixed (report obvious issues and have to schedule getting them fixed around my schedule) because the workmanship was poor in the beginning is a bit disheartening. ... By far one of the worst experiences of home building we've ever dealt with. We've been in our home for just shy of 8 weeks & we currently have 40 work order tickets submitted for issues in our home. The quality is beyond poor !! And next week, movers are coming to remove everything from our 2nd floor due to subfloor issues which we report MONTHS before closing. The experience has sucked every ounce of joy from us. We will never recommend Pulte. We just want all of our issues resolved so we can live in a home we are paying a fortune for. And some form of compensation since we are missing work for repairs and essentially cannot even use our 2nd floor of our home as it is intended. The exterior of our home is awful - splintered woods, sharp unseamed metal edges, damaged wood, etc. The list goes on. We were patient with the home build (we were told we'd close in July/August & didn't until December). We requested quality from the man in charge of our home & what we got couldn't be further from that. While the person in charge of warranty has been helpful, they too expressed our home shouldn't have went to close with the amount of issues we are experiencing. The man in charge of building this home should be ashamed of himself for the home he left us. He promised to fix things even after close & they weren't done. After 8 weeks, we are still left with cabinets damaged throughout, no scribe/trim in several places of our home, a patio covered in rust spots, doors with damage, etc. The list continues. We are sad that our new home is filled with stress of issues rather than joy and happiness. It is not okay, at all !! Someone needs to be held accountable for the extremely poor quality of our home. We used Pulte for our first home build and it was a great experience which is why we chose Pulte again. And to be honest, I wish we wouldn't have. We purchased our home very close to the peak of the market during major labor shortages and supply chain issues. So there were many unforeseen delays. Despite that, I still have a very positive experience with our Pulte home purchase. Our Construction Manager Zach kept us updated every week, and did everything he could to get us into our home as soon as possible. And where I was very impressed is his post sale support. It’s easy to miss little things during your walk through, and the home does settle causing things to shift. But Zach has been amazing with helping us resolve issues as they popped up. He has absolutely been the biggest contributor to our positive experience with Pulte. ... More

When you get a contract on a house and the builder says oh we will have it done in 6 months, don't believe them. We walked in our interest rate with the understanding the house would be good and 6 months, 6 months came and went and a house wasn't built and the contract on the house expired. Then we were told by faulty if we wanted the house we would have to do a new contract at an even higher interest rate. This higher interest rate is going to cost us over $100,000 over our 30-year mortgage, because Pulte was unable to get the house built in time. They have offered us incentives, such as taking $10,000 off the closing costs, they had a Lanai built on the back of the house at no cost and they gave us a lot of platitudes but it still doesn't equal the $100,000 that we're going to lose over the life of the loan. Within a month of closing they had sold the loan to another company. Additionally when we went to closing there was still a lot of things that had not been fixed, our project manager gave us a paper saying Pulte owes us repairs, we're still waiting for those repairs 2 months later. I would like to say that our situation is unique, however I have talked to a lot of my neighbors and it seems it is not a unique situation and that it has happened to most of my neighbors. having a home build is a very stressful situation and to not know when it's going to be ready is even more stressful we had to pay out a lot of money because our profile belongings were in storage. Our house was supposed to be done in 6 months it was 13 months before we went to closing. Talking with my neighbors saying thing for them. When you do your walkthrough unless you're a home builder or you would have done this before you don't know what you're looking for, now I find lots of little problems and we have a home warranty that is good for one year so we will see how many more things we're going to have to be calling our warranty specialist on, currently we're about 14 things that have had to be repaired or are still waiting to be repaired. I wish I could say that this was only a problem that Pulte has but in talking to people in our community that has three different builders, everyone seems to be having the same problem.
