Had a great experience with purchasing my home

Disappointed in the attention to detail. Paint chips here and there. Nicks here and there. Flaws were not obvious but we are neat freaks and maybe expected everything to be perfect. Love the floor plan and the sunsets.

The house is great but there were a couple of minor repair items that I discovered after moving in. I followed the process and sent them off to the warranty mailbox twice but have never received a response. Other than the responsiveness the overall experience with the builder has been very good.

We were amazed how quickly and this house was built. Finished exactly in the time line given us the day we bought!

Sales and Super were great. Trades need some work but overall good build.

Make sure you look over your home for everything. We had issues that ended up being worse after the fixes or repairs were made from our final walk through. We have had to start repainting all our baseboards and door frames. There is silicone caulk everywhere, it was not cleaned up and was dripped on the LVP and tile floors. The garage floor had to be redone multiple times, and is turning yellow now instead of the gray color we chose. Not real happy with quality of workmanship by the sub contractors.

I already have seven calls into our warranty folks. Seven different issues- all needles had there been more quality workmanship and attention to detail. …super frustrating.

The date keep changing and no one was contacting me and letting know what was going on.. I had to call and get the information for myself and miss out on the funeral for my family member.

My Pulte home buying experience was good!

We are pleased with the quality of home and reasonable pricing.

The overall build of the house is great. Although there are a few things that need to be repaired but that was to be expected. The overall buying process was a bit tedious at times, to the point that we wanted to walk away. Now that we are in the house, getting issues resolved has been a bit of a task. I am overall pleased with the final product but the little things which could make this an excellent experience have not be dealt with very well.

I was pretty excited for this house, but as time past and I saw how it was being built, that feeling of 'this is a perfect home' faded. Don't get me wrong, the quality of the pieces of the home feel good (flooring is great, hardware is good when it's not painted over, and overall layout is perfect) but the workmanship involved in putting it all together seemed sub par and rushed. This is the second home over purchased and the cost this time was significantly more, so my expectations were equally as high. In terms of the structural quality, I have no doubts it's solid. In terms of the drywall and after work, I'm not as pleased. One of the major issues was the house was painted incorrectly and went unnoticed until I said something. This led to hardware outside the home being painted around which effects the finished look. On top of that, the weeks before closing had a hard freeze and nearly all the landscaping died. I made the report immediately as the house looked awful. It's been about a month and a half with no fix or follow up. For as much as we paid for this home, I felt the list of issues post closing is too lengthy. The rate at which the issues are currently being addressed is still to be determined. I'm sure everything will be fixed in the end, but knowing that I have to do the work to get everything fixed (report obvious issues and have to schedule getting them fixed around my schedule) because the workmanship was poor in the beginning is a bit disheartening. ... The experience as a whole seemed fine up until the end. My wife and I felt the closing process was rushed. There were many items that weren’t resolved at closing and the warranty department has not been very responsive. We were told over and over that we wouldn’t be forgotten about but that’s not the way things have played out. Our construction manager was great but unfortunately, he wasn’t the one performing the work on our home. The quality of the workmanship isn’t to the level that we expected it to be. It’s very clear the contractors did not pay close attention to the details. Lots of uneven walls and wavy corners. I was not happy with the fact that Pulte used drywall clips. We found several instances where things were covered up by the contractors. Examples: crack in window track which caused water damage to the drywall, broken kitchen cabinet installed underneath quartz countertop that can’t be replaced or repaired. Our original contract showed we would be in the house within 6 months and it was just about a year before we finally closed. As for workmanship, we feel there is a lot of improvement needed. Exterior concrete work is poorly done, we had issues with our cabinets, the wrong breaker was put in for our garbage disposal & wires were lose, we had issues getting our internet & cable done correctly, countertop had to be replaced due to staining on it, sheet rock was cut wrong on a corner yet it was left & painted over and grouting around bathtub not done correctly. I expected a bit more quality to begin with, there are chipped tiles (4) hard wired network don't work (2) and the failed to wire electricity to both, garage doors had issues -now fixed, garbage disposal trips breaker if used, door frames trim lacks quality in some areas, patio door would not slide properly-now fixed, Landscaping slapped together/rushed and no input from homeowner allowed on choices, interior lights (2) work sometimes, sometimes not, rushed to closing on the house was not necessary. Front door had gaps, homeowner corrected this, bugs for weeks were in the home due to not being sealed up properly for so long, many appliance books missing, closet shelving was missing and took two weeks to be added was no fun. In time, and with the work orders submitted these items should be resolved. A MAJOR issue is the soggy wet side on the left side when facing the house. In better than 30 days that we have been here it is too wet to even walk on. It has been reported, nothing done yet. Its more than 48 hours with no rain and still very wet. Pulte Lender stated we needed to get our application in to LOCK in the good rate . What they didn't tell us was that the rate we locked into was only good for 120 days , yes it took 10 months to build in conclusion our rate went up from 3.25% to 5.75% which our mortgage went up almost 400 dollars in the process. Also at this point what can you do . This type of business left a bad taste in my mouth about pulte lender.

As we have been in house for a few weeks now it does seem like the attention to detail is somewhat lacking! Crooked light plates, outlets that didn’t work, stovetop crooked, paint not cleaned up, caulking average You asked for review now you got one

I do love my new home! The design, features and options are exceptional! I believe there could be improvement in the final stages of completion before closing. The house had paint paint drips on the floor tile throughout the house, the washer was not fully installed causing a flood during the first load and the house was not properly cleaned prior to move in. A Pulte punch-out team would be ideal to to take care of these concerns prior to move in. The warranty manager has efficiently addressed most of the concerns identified after moving in.

People were very friendly but don't know who has to communicate was. I received the papers concerne the HOA about 3 weeks after having signed and paid my house. I was told the we will be informed about the activities that are organise it is now 3 months that I moved in the house and still haven heart anything,

Our home itself is a nice home and we got it for a great value. Everyone I have worked with at Pulte has been pleasant and usually helpful. There have been issues though: The sliding back door was stiff as can be upon move in, and we had to realign it ourselves. The door to the airlock/laundry room does not fully close unless you give it a good push into position. There's a gap in the grout of our shower. The doorbell rang a couple of times when we first moved in then stopped working completely within a week. Despite reporting it as an issue multiple times, no one has been by to fix it in the month and a half we've been here. Two outlets did not work upon moving in. These were thankfully fixed within the first couple weeks. Ants and other pests were rampant in the yard with plenty of them making their way into our garage. Within the first week I was bleach wiping the area right behind out kitchen trash can due to an incursion by hundreds of ants. It's clear pest control was not a priority in the 6mo or so that the house was sitting on the market. The underwriting team during closing was completely sequestered away from me, and I was left with another individual as my sort of middleman. She was absolutely great to work with as a person, however there was some sort of disconnect either in what the underwriting team was telling her, or what she was interpreting and telling me, that resulted in my closing being delayed by a week despite us starting them process a month prior to closing. The VA had approved my loan but there was a hangup in specific wording of specific documents from the Army and VA that I ended up getting fixed in a day once I fully understood the actual issue they had. This would have been resolved much more quickly if the underwriting team had told me directly exactly what problem they were having, rather than playing telephone or being vague and telling me to just call the VA and figure it out on my own. ... TO ELIMINATE SOME FRUSTRATIONS, WE WOULD HIRE A HOME INSPECTOR TO FIND/LOCAGE PROBLEM AREAS BEFORE CLOSING AND MOVING IN. THIS WOULD FIND SHORT COMINGS, TO INCLUDE ELECTRICAL, PAINT ISSUES, RUSTING STAINLESS STEEL REFRIGERATOR DOORS, WILD SPRAY DISCHARGE OF SOME SPRINKLER HEADS ON WINDOWS AND PORCH, FLOODING AREAS AROUND IRRIGATION VALVE BOX , AND SIDE WALK, VERY ANNOYING , CREAKING, LOUD GARAGE DOOR OPERATION, GUTTER DOWN SPOUTS NOT ALL THE WAY DIRECTED TO GRASS RESULTING IN WASH OUT CRATERS . SOME ISSUES HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED OKAY. WE JUST DID NOT NEED THE AGGRAVATION OF SUCH ISSUES. HOPEFULLY, ALL ISSUES WILL BE HANDLED ON THE ELEVEN MONTH CHECK SHEET. ... More
