When first looking at the home, I liked it. The salesperson was very helpful and answered all questions. The process of buying the home had some hiccups but were taken care of in a timely manner. However, one of the major factors that influenced my decision to purchase the townhome was that the HOA covered the structural insurance on the home (I needed insurance only on contents). Unfortunately, 3 weeks after closing I received a letter stating that the HOA would not be renewing the structural insurance and I would now have to cover that on my existing insurance (at a significant cost). Since the day of the house check list, where I detailed the defects in painting and finishing to the builder, many of the problems were not resolved until the day of closing and after closing they still did not resolve the problems. I had problems with irrigation that I had to resolve on my own. Many promises but nothing resolved. very disappointed with the company that built the house

Everything was great with the choosing of the lot and model. I wish buyers had more say in the choice in options for their home in terms of colors, blinds, and interior paint. I did not like the experiences with the external providers (blinds, security, etc.). I did not think it was a valuable offering. Everything else was great though.

water leaking was reported one month after closing

I had good communication with Pulte home sales person through the whole home purchase process with no issue. But Polk County representative reported water leaking on this property just one month after closing. our PM reached out to Pulte home immediately, and they fixed it on the same day of reporting. I appreciate Pulte home's quick response. But this is brand new house, it makes me wondering the quality of the builder for this house.

Information withheld prior to purchase. Some poor quality materials. Landscaping is horrible - trees are dead after only two-three months in the ground! Cheapest grass in Florida.

Apparently, there were issues not under the builder's control, such as damaged bathroom counters, that needed to be replaced (manufacturer's schedule), as well as several painting issues, shower finishes, etc. We are not complaining about the finishing, since the Project Manager would take care of those right away, but we feel Pulte should have pushed the closing to the right maybe a week or two, instead of closing on the original date, since it was clear the property was not ready for move in; and there were so many details pending on the property. Misinformation, Changing information, Company is a fill in the box type of mentality. As long as they get a paper to check the box all is good. They have no concern to the relevance. Each department asks for the same documents and there is not one point of contact so an array of people with differing requirements

Overall we are not happy with Pulte. They delayed the delivery of the property for 6 months, they changed the delivery date twice. They made us spend a lot of money waiting. We do not receive any incentive for delays and additional expenses. Low quality materials and finishes. I recommend Lennar without a doubt.

Delayed the construction in more than 7 months, and delayed closing over 20 days. Lots of unfinished details, broken doors, drawers. Clogged toillets and bathtube. Dirty pool, without the filter.

My husband and I purchased an investment property with Pulte Homes. The entire process was a great experience. The process was very informative. we were completely informed throughout the entire process. The entire process took about a year however, it was well worth it. The home is very spacious with lots of bedrooms and baths. Ryan communicated regularly and was.so patience with me. The home is beautiful, we are so happy we purchased with Pulte. satisfied customer!
