Great home, but still have a major open question.

I am happy with my purchase and am excited to raise my family here. I also really liked my project manager. I am still, however, unclear why the “all block” construction sales pitch ended up with Oakhurst model having 2 exterior walls made of wood. This has never been explained and frankly was not clearly disclosed during the sales process. I still want an explanation as I still feel misled here.

Several issues, wrong paint color,etc

There are several issues- ALL are written down in my notebook from meeting on 9/5/25. Paint color- All of the walls are white, the only white walls were all of the closets SW7005 The HOUSE walls were: City Loft SW 7631. KITCHEN- Under cabinet lightening, there are none, but supposed to be. Kitchen Counter top is Silestone which is so ugly and it costs more than Granite. Let me say was a heartbreaker for me.,although there are others. The quality of the kitchen faucet is a 0, looks and feels like plastic, cheap. The tile in Kitchen and Owner’s BR were supposed to be laid diagonally, ...

Short on options, would have preferred gas appliances

Options were limited, would have liked to have seen more and more consistency with options. Supplies changed quickly and created anxiety having to change from first visit with designer from the next. Pulte insurance options were a joke, poor customer service, inaccurate and poor to no follow up when exploring this option

We bought the home at Highpointe due to location and the attractive models we visited. We were pressed for time due to work relocation and time-limited rental, so we welcomed a speedy purchase, but perhaps we should have had a deep look into the actual quality of materials and tradesmen workmanship. It begins with having to have window frames corrected. There were various windows that we installed crookedly and had to be remedied, followed by toilet paper dispensers that were poorly mounted and could not be used, followed by a shower door that scraped the floor and had to be addressed by ...

the home buying experience and closing were rather smooth. The sales manager was rather helpful guiding us through the process of buying the house. Craftmanship was satisfactory except there have been some issues with some appliances (stove and dryer) and contacting HOA manager has been difficult.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but we were disappointed in the outcome. The driveway is so short our cars don’t even fit. Still construction mud caked on our back porch. INHO Pulte is producing homes too quickly and it’s a rushed job.

Overall ok with this workmanship of home, but kitchen cabinets are nothing but cheap cardboard and I upgraded to level 5. I’d had to see level 1.

We were asked to have an inspection and quality review with Pulte representatives before final closing. Upon “move in”, many of the issues of function and quality were not addressed. The ceiling fan in the lanai had no remote and didn’t function. This problem was never fixed. The burner heads on the stove were missing and, when replaced, one burner was not the proper size for the unit (this is a still un-corrected safety issue). The refrigerator was inoperative and replaced with a “scratch and dent” model of a different brand. It took three deliveries of the wrong units (and three weeks) to ...
