The home is great and so far, so good. During construction, any issues that we noticed were handled and my home was delivered as expected. Working with the ancillary companies - mortgage/insurance, was excellent and made the build up to closing stress free. HOWEVER, having moved to Florida from New Jersey, the estimated closing date information, was abysmal, as the builder would NOT share their estimated completion date with me, their customer. This is our 2nd Pulte home. We love this one even more than 1st. The communication and updates throughout the process are 2nd to none. From sales to construction manager to customer care folks. These folks care about you and their job.

A list of repairs a mile long due to terrible workmanship. But why would they care they got their money. If you think you paid for non damaged doors , trim, windows, tile, you would wrong. They have ZERO intention of replacing anything damaged during the build. They will tell you , "we will patch it". Sorry I paid for new I WANT NEW. Raised the POA even though No clubhouse, gate left open most of the day and constant construction spreading dust , dirt, and mud all over . You really need to slow down the building process and look more to the details more accurately. There are a lot of loose ends and repairs on going for this home. The warranty department process is not very efficient. The warranty issues are taking way too long to get resolved. The repair guys are a joke!

Pulte Homes was great from initial purchase to closing. Kept us informed every step of the building process. I could reach out to the construction manager or my sales person for information. Pulte provided prompt responses to my questions and inquiries. The mortgage team was great finding the best mortgage that we could qualify without any issues. Overall excellent Pulte experience.

From sales to closing it was a very good experience. Communication system works well as does direct personal weekly check ins with Team Pulte at Highpointe. Daniela and Ryan did a superb job.

Pulte is a quality builder but he’s only as good as the Sub Contractors he hires. Workmanship could have been better but overall I’m satisfied with my purchase.

Pulte touts their quality control, pride in the care of their new construction and communication. Quality control was missing and communication was one way - from Pulte to resident. The video describing a “celebration walk thru” is not what we experienced. Our celebration walk was nothing close to a celebration. Our home was not complete or clean. Broken window, missing items that should have been in the home, all finishes both inside and outside the home were sloppy and unprofessional. Communication was poor. multiple unresolved issues

Multiple issues were identified prior to the closing and now 5 weeks after closing, 80% of them are still outstanding. Multiple emails and phone calls have been made attempting to resolve these matters. Poor craftsmanship across the board. Very disappointed and frustrated. I expected more from Pulte.

Substandard House for a hefty price tag

The house is built very substandard, from the materials chosen to the workmanship. The house is completely out of square, we have had multiple failures, The worst is the contractors poured thinset down the toilet blocking the pipes, (Still not fixed a month later), so that bathroom can not be used. I would NEVER purchase a home from Pulte again!

Buying is Easy-Finished Product does not Meet Standard

We have purchased four tract homes in the past 25 years. This purchase and closing process went well but the finished product is not what we expected or were assured We were unable to have the house inspected by an independent inspector prior to closing for several reasons. In any event, our post-closing inspection revealed issues of sloppy quality control. We have an extensive punch list. We are disappointed and would not buy a Pulte home again (this is our second). We will not recommend Pulte to others.

Overall the buying experience with Paul was very smooth. He was very responsive to questions and feedback during the sales process. When things transitioned over to construction, our CM Rob was also very helpful and flexible given we were living out of state. After moving in Rob made sure everything was as we designed it and any issues were remedied. CS Rob had been also very responsive to new issues we have found after living here for a little over a month and ensured that they are getting addressed.

This is our 2nd new construction build with Pulte and they delivered us an incredible home that we couldn’t be happier with. The experience was smooth, they constantly kept us updated on the progress and every Pulte employee we worked with was fantastic. They have also been very responsive about getting any issues addressed in a timely manner.

Overall, this was a good experience. This is our 2nd time building, but first time in Florida. Our project manager, Austin, was great. He was always responsive when we brought a concern to his attention. He consistently kept us in the loop as to what was taking place and the next steps. The process did take a bit longer than expected due to delays, but the house turned out great with all that we asked for. Side note: Ask for shutters in the backyard, they do not come with the home.

What was supposed to be a dream come true. Has become a nightmare

The process to get things corrected after we closed has been a nightmare. It has been determined that the master bathroom shower and floor has to be demolished and redone, tile backsplash in our kitchen has to be ripped out and redone, had to repair a brand new dryer four times, crown molding poorly done in some areas and cabinets weren’t installed correctly and majority of the hardware for the cabinets weren’t installed properly and cabinets have to be replaced. I have purchased two houses with Pulte and they both faced the same issues: Project Managers are changed in the middle of the project. This creates a disconnect between builder and customer. There are issues that had to do with the qualify of the work that should have been in the first place: Walls not straight, corners with bumps, door frames not matching the height; this is like construction 101. I like to think that Pulte is like a Tesla: I like to have one but the quality department needs to improve.
