We are thankful that our sales consultant, Yvo, was so incredible. He was the best part of our home building experience - very professional, a great communicator, and did everything possible to make sure we were satisfied. 5 stars for Yvo. Unfortunately, our construction manager was the complete opposite. He was not only unprofessional, but went so far as to write up a nasty email towards us future homeowners in regards to concerns we had about the house. I will refrain from going into detail. Not only did the delays total four months to move in (7 month window to 11 months), but we’re still waiting on an oven, utility sink, cabinets, etc. Pulte clearly over building while rates are down and not concerned about you once you’ve paid your down payment.

Buying is Easy-Finished Product does not Meet Standard

We have purchased four tract homes in the past 25 years. This purchase and closing process went well but the finished product is not what we expected or were assured We were unable to have the house inspected by an independent inspector prior to closing for several reasons. In any event, our post-closing inspection revealed issues of sloppy quality control. We have an extensive punch list. We are disappointed and would not buy a Pulte home again (this is our second). We will not recommend Pulte to others.

DESIGN IN 3RD BATH IN BEDROOM ACROSS FROM LAUNDRY HAS A DOOR THAT OPENS INTO BATHROOM. SHOULD HAVE BEEN A POCKET DOOR. FLOOR TILES IN HOUSE ARE UNEVEN. PAVERS ON BACK OF HOUSE ARE BROKEN AND VERY UNEVEN . BIG GAP UNDER BACK DOOR.SUBMIITED REQUEST AND TOLD THEY WOULD GET BACK US IN 48 TO 72 HRS. NEVER HEARD BACK.

If all sales people at Pulte are anything like the one we had to deal with, we would have never signed the contract. Our sales person is only interested in getting that initial contract and then disappears blaming everyone else at Pulte for any delays/inconveniences that arise (even the ones he created).

Pulse mortgage does not communicate that well very hard to get a hold of someone to talk to rate them very low

Communication is key

We did not have a good experience. It is true that we live in a different world now, but communication goes a long way. While we had great communication with our Sales Rep Lisa, the breakdown from there made the building experience hostile and dissatisfying for what should have been a joyful experience. Stressful process

Pulte share all beautiful things when you make the purchase… but after you sign… begin all the lies about the problems in construction. Pulte don’t give real answer. All excuses. Bad workmanship and materials. We have open like 50 items to replace by warranty. Not small. We have like floor bathrooms, drywalls, paint. So stressful. Pulte it doens't care about all the issues in the community. We hace security problems because the gate is always for construction. And they don’t care.

Challenging, disappointing and frustrating aggravating.

Pulte touts their quality control, pride in the care of their new construction and communication. Quality control was missing and communication was one way - from Pulte to resident. The video describing a “celebration walk thru” is not what we experienced. Our celebration walk was nothing close to a celebration. Our home was not complete or clean. Broken window, missing items that should have been in the home, all finishes both inside and outside the home were sloppy and unprofessional. Communication was poor. What was supposed to be a dream come true. Has become a nightmare

The process to get things corrected after we closed has been a nightmare. It has been determined that the master bathroom shower and floor has to be demolished and redone, tile backsplash in our kitchen has to be ripped out and redone, had to repair a brand new dryer four times, crown molding poorly done in some areas and cabinets weren’t installed correctly and majority of the hardware for the cabinets weren’t installed properly and cabinets have to be replaced. Do not close until everything is done

Once you close on your home they do not respond to your issues as they should. I’ve been here for 2 months and still waiting on simple things that I pointed out thru the walk through of the home. I would not recommend buying a new home from Pulte, and if you do, DO NOT close until they have completed your checklist, after that you are no longer a priority. Not happy, house is pretty but workmanship is sloppy.

My home settled in December. It was repeatedly made clear, by Pulte, that the home must be completely paid for at least one day before settlement. I honored that requirement in good faith. There were many items that needed attention post settlement. None insurmountable. 4 months post settlement, they still have not completed all of the repairs.They don’t group any repairs together for the same day, consequently, not even by the same trade, so you need to be home many, many days to allow them to do just a few quick minor repairs. Multiple project managers, moving of my closing date 3-4 times, dead raccoon in my new build that took 1.5 months to resolve and the solution was my initial solution from the beginning. Many issues left open with home after closing. Unfortunately this is 180 degree different when I built with another company. This was post pandemic build boom and expected better finishing work. I just hope the warranty department reputation isn’t as bad as I have heard and the issues will get resolved timely.

Material used is low quality and workmanship is sub-standard. We have been in the home for 4 weeks and some of carpeting is already coming off at the seams. Some of the tiles on the floor are damaged, door knobs are loose and some doors do not shut properly. Kitchen drawers are not aligned properly. A large package (mattress) that was erroneously delivered prior to our closing date, was stolen by someone on site - which the crew could and should have left in the garage or inside the house. House and garage were not cleaned before we move-in date.

multiple unresolved issues

Multiple issues were identified prior to the closing and now 5 weeks after closing, 80% of them are still outstanding. Multiple emails and phone calls have been made attempting to resolve these matters. Poor craftsmanship across the board. Very disappointed and frustrated. I expected more from Pulte.

Substandard House for a hefty price tag

The house is built very substandard, from the materials chosen to the workmanship. The house is completely out of square, we have had multiple failures, The worst is the contractors poured thinset down the toilet blocking the pipes, (Still not fixed a month later), so that bathroom can not be used. I would NEVER purchase a home from Pulte again!

Do not close on the house if there are any issues because it is impossible to get them fixed. A lot of promises and no action. Poor quality of workmanship. Higher priced two tones finishes and painting very disappointing, runny water they call it. It looks like every part of the finishing process was rushed. Would not recommend. Too many small issues to list.

A list of repairs a mile long due to terrible workmanship. But why would they care they got their money. If you think you paid for non damaged doors , trim, windows, tile, you would wrong. They have ZERO intention of replacing anything damaged during the build. They will tell you , "we will patch it". Sorry I paid for new I WANT NEW. What started in May of 2022 as an exciting dream to come true, became a lingering nightmare in May of this year, the very same day of closing.
