Not a good value for money!

We went through the purchase process relatively fast. The builder anticipated the closing date although the home was not 100% ready for closure. Our home has quite a number of upgrades which were charged at premium cost. Overall, the quality of the house is unsatisfactory, both from design and construction perspective. For example, partition walls do not have any sound insulation, and you can literally hear conversation or the TV sound from the other room(s). The AHU (air handling unit) is located nearby the living room and its super noisy! The utility room has no insulation and sound ...

I have to say that my experience with Pulte overall was below average. My home was delayed and at the end of the process Pulte rushed to finish my home. The rush to finish resulted in poor craftsmanship and minor damage all throughout the home. We hope that at the conclusion of our first year that Pulte makes good on their promise of our “dream home” experience.

New home buyers should thoroughly inspect their new home before closing. Once you close, and there are issues with the home, you than have to rely on the pulte warranty department to get the needed repairs fix and it will be a process!!

Overall I give you a D. You just want to sell homes. The home we purchased had several issues. We had the hardest time getting these concerns addressed. Some of your employees just don’t bother answering their phone calls/texts or returning either. Your mortgage/title, and insurance company is a joke. The incompetence was staggering. Not sure why I bothered with this as corporate greed has taken over. Nothing will change.

Felt abandoned by construction mgr on closing day

Closing Day on a Friday is remote training day for construction Mgr. Felt abandoned on closing day. Construction Mgr met the day before and promised house would be cleaned and landscape would be finished. Next day after close I had to drive another 30 mins to a different community sales office to pickup keys. When I got to the new home the outside had not been touched, construction trash & no mulch. Inside was not cleaned as promised. Called construction mgr and he starting calling but it was too late.

Lack of professionalism

Awful customer service and bullying tactics to get to the closing table out of the blue which resulted in having to cancel a missionary trip at the last moment. The closing was then moved the day of the walk thru and cost me over 10k due to loss of trip. Not only apology was offered and in fact the bullying and threats up thru the inside legal council continued up until the evening before the eventual closing. The lack of leadership by anyone at Pulte is not only disappointing and the entire Pulte organization should be embarrassed how I was treated through this process.

I have had, among other issues, 5 issues with electrical wiring and switches. Some of these have tripped circuit breakers. I have zero confidence that the home is wired safely or correctly.

Sales agent says one thing to one person and something else to another. Working with the mortgage company was one of the worst experiences of our lives. Title and insurance companies were easy to deal with. Project managers must be over worked because nothing seems to get done in a timely manner- we moved in over a month ago and our door doesn’t lock- still waiting for someone to come and fix it- have to go back to our home in the north soon so will probably have to fix it ourselves. The bad experience started early. We bought in the very first month of releases, but when it came time to lock in the color of the home, our salesman told us our color choice was restricted because he allowed people who the month after us to pick first. Then they discarded all the rules on elevation and model locations, which means you have houses with the same elevation next to each other. The craftsmanship was shockingly poor, with numerous defects and shoddy workmanship evident throughout the construction process. Recent owner of a Pulte home in Southwest Florida. For all the advertising about excellent quality work and what not, they don’t even do a fraction of it. They have taken on way more than than they can handle and just are just cranking through houses to get better numbers while completely ignoring quality. I have built a house before and know what to expect with any new construction. It was evident that there has been no supervision or oversight of the work being done.
