Regrettably, I must express my disappointment with my recent home purchase from Pulte Group. My experience has been frustrating and distressing due to multiple unfulfilled promises, and a lack of support from their customer care team. Upon buying my home, I was assured that any issues within the first year would be swiftly addressed. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. For anyone considering purchasing a home from Pulte Group, I urge you to reflect on my experiences. While purchasing a new home should be an exciting chapter, this ongoing dispute over the warranty has transformed it into a burden. We had many issues throughout our process. We signed our contract prior to the rapid increase in interest rates. We enjoyed the customization options provided and going to the design center. However as we approached closing our appraisal came in well below the contracted price (over $100k). This had “never happened before” and they would work to make it right. Claims of multiple appraisals never came to fruition, lack of proper communication to us as well as internally were very surprising and disappointing. We obviously went with Pulte as the lender as that is how they bait and hook you into getting extra incentives. So the fact their lending team, sales team, and closing team seemed to have no way to communicate was shocking. They failed to rectify issues and almost led us to walk away from the deal. Our construction manager was top class and very attentive and quick to help and communicate their piece of the process so we were thankful for them. But the sales team, lending side, and closing side was a mess. We have built other homes before and never struggled like this, leading to the title of the review, “Surprisingly Disappointed.” ... - Built by cheap materials - Home design options were very cheap even after paying for the upgrades. It was better to receive the home with default design and install later. Particularly, I don't recommend buying appliances with Pulte. One can buy it from Home Depot for almost a half price. Pulte charged high prices, and the appliances installed with cracks/scratches and missing parts like missing glass shelf in fridge. - Almost all doors have issues (cracks, missing screws, loose hinges, locks). Pulte employed very bad quality constructors. - Issues raised from Day 1 of moving in. Garage door glitches, septic tank warning light is on and off, etc. I could not find anything has been installed properly; floors are uneven particularly on kitchen island where you feel the most; upgraded carpet and padding are so thin so you can feel nails easily and padding are so bad you can feel there are nails or some construction materials underneath of carpet. Almost every room flooring has issue. - Paid for the isolated study rooms. It was a total waste of money and you are not sure even they installed any sound proofing. - I thought I was unlucky. But neighbors have the same experience; so we are on the same boat :) ... More

Great experience dealing with Pulte. Everyone involved was very friendly and knowledgeable. The home we purchased was a great value compared to other builders in the area.

The process with mortgage broker was difficult for me, but I understood why took so long to be approved. Everybody worked with a higher standard of attendance and care with me.

Sales agent and construction manager addressed all are concerns quickly and to our satisfaction.

It is astonishing that after paying over $1,000,000.00 for a home, the amount of issues present at closing and their refusal to fix those issues presents itself. They consistently try to NOT FIX anything or give excuses as to the existence of those problems. They spend more time trying to explain away problems that are fairly easy to fix.

Rushed to do walk through as the cleaners scurry out of front door. Expected to do a thorough walk through by myself, not advised to bring others to help. Many missed issues and then no further clean up after painters and others had to come in to fix the things seen on first walk through. Very sloppy, many paint spots all over carpet and tile. All tile grout filled with sand and dirt requiring many hours of me cleaning. Fuse for fridge went out within a week of moving in. A Shower drain not draining and they can't come out to fix for 2 weeks then they schedule it wrong and can't come for another 2 weeks. Plus many tiles with chips and cracks. The amount paid for the house is compatible with the quality of the materials, location and community. We are satisfied with the house and support of team at Pulte Homes, despite the delay in solving some problems we had when we moved to the new house. Evan is very helpful.

Poor workmanship due to rushing experienced leak in master bedroom on my very first day of moving in. Cable wiring incorrectly done and electrical wiring as well. Lots of issues still going on and have been waiting for resolution almost 2 months now.

They did a very good job in explaining and making sure that I will have a smooth process since I am a first home buyer. From my sales representative, my Contractor, my Loan Processor (Pulte Mortgage), and Insurance Representative (Pulte Insurance), they are all amazing...

I would find out what size your property would be it depends on the level your house is in my wash room I ordered the sink mine is a slop sink I have 95000 in upgrades did not expect that fancy moen faucet in a slop sink

Very bad finishing work, very irresponsible customer service managers when it comes to getting issues fixed, you call them, they give you the run around, and never get back to you. They make appointment with contractors to get issues fixed, you sit at home waiting and 95% of the time, contractors don’t show up. They managed to turn our dream house into a nightmare with they lack of respect and responsiveness to the house issues, you pretty much have to chase them, and almost beg to fix issues at the house that you paid a lot of money for, like they doing you a favor. I’ve been waiting two months to use a summer kitchen that I paid $18.000,00 for, and still can’t because, the work on it is not complete, not counting the many others finishing issues and I’ve been begging them to have the contractor come and finish, and nothing! I am pretty much giving up on them , and I’m going to have to use legal means to force them to honor the house warranty. I had issues with pulte from day one , beginning with the sales manager, that after the sale was secured, never answered or returned my phone calls and text messages. This was a sign , that I was about to get frustrated throughout the whole buying process, and so I was and still am .The only one that tried to help me in whatever he could, was the foreman named Dominic Romano, other then him, everybody else just give you the run around, and believe me, make you mad. Very bad house buying experience I’ve been having with pulte, not happy at all and I’ll never do business with them again in the future. All the process was easy

The house is good with high quality.very quick and satisfying service of warranty department and good HOA staff.

This is the worst business of my life. the house does not have any construction quality for the price. Poorly painted, caulking missing on all walls, exposed drywall, hunched walls, none with 90 degrees, all doors scratched and poorly painted as well as door frames. The air conditioning has been damaged 5 times, the last time I was without air conditioning for more than 24 hours and they still haven't given a solution. Driveway flooring sagging, cabinets damaged, backsplash poorly done, you would never recommend anyone buy a home from Pulte. The warranty department takes time to respond and solve the problems ... We had a great experience with our Sales person Maria. She was very responsive to all our questions. Pulte can improve on their workmanship by making sure everything was completed prior to closing. We had a lot of items on the walk through that were never completed and still waiting to be completed a month after the closing. Also clean up of sidewalks should have been done as stains from constructions are very noticeable and ruins the curb appeal of the house and the neighborhood. We had a technician come to our house and he noticed the stains on the sidewalks in front of our house right away. I'm not sure if the HOA will do something about this or we have to hire someone to pressure wash it. ... More

From the moment I saw the community I fell in love. But it’s the builder Daniel and my sales woman Adrienne that made the experience amazing. This is my second home from Pulte and it won’t be my last.

The sales process was fantastic however the workmanship needs improvement as for the price it seems to have rushed work and the quality of trades are not to the standard I would expect for the price of home.

Poor quality Very Bad experience with Pulte Home, if you decide to buy the house with Pulte Homes make sure before you close the house everything looks good and function properly and once you close the house no one cares, we are still waiting for the repairs over 2 months since we close the house. Poor Quality There is a lot of glue everywhere, wood part covered with the paint to cover the chips and chunks of concrete in the garage, bad finishings thru out the house, Pulte house also design houses so poorly, Windows are facing straight into to Neighbours house no privacy, We still can't reach out anyone no matter how many times we call or text, they take their sweet time to fix. I even hired cleaning company and paid them $300 to clean glue and some part of bathroom area they couldn't. Pulte builders are rushing to build houses.
