Too much delays in every step in the process, and bad response

I bought home with Pulte. During construction process, every step in the construction process is delayed with many issues. Construction team is poorly responsive on the issues. They postponed the closing date 3times, and delivered the home in 1 year. Only good thing is Sales team and Warranty is is good and very responsive to issues

14 months to close, and still not everything is done

We contracted in April 2021, and while there were some supply delays, the lack of communication and timing by the construction team caused us to wait 14 months to close. They were still working in the house the day of closing and had to be let in throughout the next two weeks to finish items. It has been 5 weeks from closing and we are still waiting for some work to be completed. The sales team is great but the workmanship and all around delays are horrible.

Most unfortunate experience, closing with the Pulte owned title company a fiasco, did not honor agreements offered in writing at time of contract signing, Non existence post closing assistance just keys delivery, no warranty deed provided until realtor insisted. failing to provided a forced title insurance purchase despise offering optional payment at a cash transaction, after 33 days of closing I have yet to receive policy certificate, house not ready, expect completion current week .

Great location of home and community. However after closing very tough to get issues taken care of. Over a month after closing waiting for kitchen crown molding. The tiles in the home have different grout colors, uneven tiles, and grout size variations from 1/4 to 1/2 inch which make it look terrible. Sales team was amazing and the construction manager keeps information flowing. However incomplete homes that require much work are being closed on. After closing they were putting bathroom mirrors up!

House was 6 month behind schedule. Day of closing did not past inspection and waited for another week. Its been a month after closing and we are still dealing with some issues like tree fell, wrong sink and many others.

We were super excited to build with Pulte but it turned out to be a nightmare for the simple fact that our house was rushed .......due to what our head guy said. He stated that he wanted more time but Pulte wanted him to get our house off their so called "books". we have every thing from unfinished walls to damaged doors to damaged countertops to damaged tile to missing hardware on the cabinets to all of our black hardware being painted white...it just hasn't been a fun experience at all. The outside of the house has yet to be even fully painted. our amazing warranty specialist is working on ...

We did a walkthrough of the house even though it was not complete. The house was far from complete; we came up with 4 pages of items to be fixed. Not minor issues but major ones. We flew from NJ to FL to be disappointed with the house. Construction manager kept giving excuses as to why it was not complete.

We were one of the first people to pre order a house on May 2021. Interest rates were at the lowest and they promised us it would be done December 2021 - Feb 2022. We initially looked for a new home due to the interest rates were still low. I was never informed throughout the process that delays were happening, I would ask a month before initial date of closing, on how the house was doing and was then informed it would be delayed. Feb became April and was promised to close. We had locked in a rate, then was told a few weeks before promised date that home was delayed til June. I had to ask ...

Rob is been the Best Construction Manager someone could ever had, throughout the whole building process and even after I moved into my new house, he has been very attentive and helpful. I also appreciate Ashley who even though was not my sales representative she has been all the time on top of every detail. I cannot forget to mention Moises my Loan Officer who was always clear and friendly within the whole time of my processing purchase. As a Realtor I truly recommend Pulte Homes!

Issues are responded to in a timely manner. Remain ongoing and in my opinion it’s the poor quality of sub contractors that created the issues in the first place and have extremely poor response times. Understanding the issues with supply chain and labor force, this has still be a horrible experience.
