The day I met the builder was when I felt like I really was purchasing a home. The finance team was wonderful as well. However I’m in my home now and it’s going on 60 days and I’m yet still waiting for things to be done in my home which communication has stopped on.

The home building experience was an awful process. We were watching the home be built and had to point out errors constantly to the construction team that they weren't catching. These errors included the door sizes, railing color, warped doors, bowed walls (many bowed walls) among other items. The house and lot were dirty and seemed to never be cleaned throughout the entire process until the absolute very end. Everything went well from dealing with out sales manager and later setting things up through our building manager. Everyone was super informative on what to expect throughout the process. However when it came to giving us detailed information on when our house would possibly close even after the windows came in we got very little information. We had to keep asking and it affected our living situation at the time. We almost got kicked out of our apartment with a newborn because of the lack of communication from the building manager. Below review is based on my personal experience and this does not mean that everyone will face same issues. I know the builder cannot keep everyone happy but at least they should be looking/addressing some genuine concerns. Pulte Homes is a very reputed brand and that's why I choose Pulte Homes to buy my first home. But I had very bad experience with Pulte Homes, which I had never expected. Working with the sales team was excellent, great communication and response time, and hence why I chose to build with Pulte. The build started great and promised excellent communication throughout the build. (Did not appreciate that they assumed/always sent a translator; I was born and raised in the US so unnecessary). I visited nearly every week and was able to have major issues addressed during the build (ie cailing tray not installed or wrong accent tile). Long delay in permitting, in part due to COVID but also due to wrong paperwork being filed. Closed on 12/30 and on 2/10 found out wrong paperwork was filed for recording, delaying homestead paperwork. When we closed, no welcome or congrats from sales rep. In general appeared Pulte staff have been too busy.

Terrible craftsmanship, communications, zero honesty, responsiveness to issues was average or slightly above. People were pleasant to work with. The value of the home and the price I paid seem to be in two different worlds. I’ve been in my home for 1.5 months now still with items I’m waiting to be finished and finding more and more every day. I would never buy with pulte ever again and am counting down the days until I can get out of this brand new house

Mass Production Contrustion at the expense of quality

The only reason I purchased from Pulte is because of the floor plans and location. Aside from that expect builder grade and sloppy craftsmanship in all internal finishes. I upgraded to the gourmet kitchen package and it's been a complete disappointment. I'd had to have pulte return to fix broken cabinets, leaking plumbing connections and holes in back of cabinets. I've bought preconstruction from other home builder in the past but never have experienced such poor level of craftsmanship. The day of closing, all cabinets were missing all door knobs!! Talk about lack of attention ...

The home buying/building process was easy. It does take a long time and expect delays. Make sure you note any issues with the home as early on as possible but don't expect it to be fixed quickly. I'm still waiting 7 weeks after move in for issues noted during construction.

This home delivery experience was not good. The project manager was in a rush to change his job and he did not care about the situation of the property at the time of closing. So, we need to deal with the warranty teams to fix what was not ready at time of closing.

On the plus side, see my comments above. On the negative side, some things that should have been included in the design of the house were ether overpriced options or unavailable. Specific examples include medicine cabinets and a place to sit in the Owners Bath (none were available at any price) and a stairway to attic in garage (only offered as a high priced option)
