You can tell they just wanted to close out this phase and neighborhood and were "just getting it done". Work requests have been sitting for over 2 weeks with no response or follow up.

We had a horrible experience with Pulte. They tried to make us close when the house was nowhere near being complete. Their quality of workmanship is horrible and subpar. We’ve had so many issues in the house. We honestly would probably never build with Pulte again and this is $1 million house. I can imagine what they do for less expensive homes.

Poor communication regarding resolution of issues

Buyer beware prior to close. Workmanship is cheap and they say they will fix it before close and they don’t. They say submit work request and nobody responds back. I was give Michael Suich number and you can’t leave a voicemail and he doesn’t return emails. Not satisfied at all. Buy anywhere else but a pulte home. I never had issues when I bought my house with Mattamy.

I know the builder cannot keep everyone happy but at least they should be looking/addressing some genuine concerns. I have had major issues such as , the main drain water line broken in two places, second floor hallway sinking in, burnt out light fixtures, nails sticking through the carpet . Sadly enough I’m stuck here. Kitchen cabinets are of poor quality, although they look nice.

Delay in construction

Project planning was not good Roofing trusses sat in sand and soil for 4 months before pouring the foundation of home. Construction crew still installed them and had to remove them. Construction crew ordered doors with no roof on the home, clean up crew did not remove paint and texture overspray from wall switches.......... call me for more details.

I bought a new home thinking about wont have troubles with maintanace, but I was wong. I already haved problems wit air conditioning, paint of the pool floor is running down to the pool, broken wall toilet paper holder, a crumpled on the wall of the restroom in the pool area, crack in the wall of the master room and I need the a few of the same ink tou painted my front ddor to fix the difference between the locks that I changed.

My wife and I have purchased 10 new homes during our marriage, (military and then post military job moves), and while Pulte was one of our favorites (Centex was the other favorite) this experience was a complete nightmare. The subs building the project were horrible, incompetent, would fix one thing and make 3 more errors, it was almost like they were both unsupervised but also incapable of the level of work required to deliver a standard track home. First of all I had lots of issues with Pulte Mortgage . It was so much back and forth , no accurate calculations too the last moment of closing . They almost refused to close my house with 3.5 % down 3 days before closing !! Insane ! Then wanted $759 more the day of closing at the Title office . Pure emotional roller coaster . My wife was a nervous wreck having to deal with 3 different people from Pulte mortgage . We finally closed after the third delay which costed me way too much . Time out of work and moving arrangements etc . The house overall is good , just not a whole lot of detail ...

Clearly Pulte have poor communication within their organisation, which in my case of purchasing two properties, resulted in threats from Pulte about a potential closing delay due to issues created by Pulte and COVID-19. No respect for time zones, no customer focus, no apology from Pulte corporate. Overall a very stressful and dissatisfying process from when business sealed through to closing.

When I signed my contract, I was given a closing date of 7 months from then. I wound up closing 1 year later. This caused my monthly mortgage payment to increase by $500 per month due to the rising interest rates. During that time, there was no communication. The house would sit for weeks at a time with nothing happening. There was also high turnover in the construction department. Duringthe 1 year, we had 4 different contruction managers. Our sales agent and her boss both left. I don’tvthink I would have built with Pilte had I known this is how the experience would be.

Too much delays in every step in the process, and bad response

I bought home with Pulte. During construction process, every step in the construction process is delayed with many issues. Construction team is poorly responsive on the issues. They postponed the closing date 3times, and delivered the home in 1 year. Only good thing is Sales team and Warranty is is good and very responsive to issues

They do not comply with the established times, they finished the house after 7 months after the established date and the finishes were very bad. We were very disappointed.

House quality and workmanship is excellent but several major unresolved issues at closing that were not addressed at all and instead passed around to the warranty department. Warranty department is overwhelmed with the volume of issues and goes completely unresponsive for weeks at a time. Having to requesting repairs and follow up countless times is incredibly frustrating, especially when you should never had to deal with in first place. Besides, dealing with multiple repair personnel showing up at random times makes things worse. Cannot believe I spent over half a million dollars for this ...

Lack of communication by builder of progress from contract signing to close. Builder was unresponsive to issues pointed out by homeowner during review processes. At the time of final walkthru, the home was not move-in ready and there were many issues identified by homeowner and recognized by builder. Quality of workmanship is very poor, sloppy, and missing many items from the contract/plans by builder and contractors hired by builder. Only a few of the items missing were due to supply chain issues and were explained by builder to homeowner.

New condo, and after two weeks of closing, major leak in the house required the builder to open up sheet rock and fix the HVAC leak. Mold has started to grow and we could not use the house for 2 weeks. No courtesy or compensation for the trouble caused. Horrible.

We had a terrible experience in buying our first (and certainly last) home with Pulte. We sought a home in a tucked away and quiet area, which is what we were sold and paid a lot premium for. Shortly after closing to then find out that our "quiet location" was the future Osceola parkway extension only a few houses down and in direct view of our kitchen and living room. Not only is this unbelievably deceitful sales, but on top of this our whole house had a plumbing backup upon moving in. Issues are responded to in a timely manner. Remain ongoing and in my opinion it’s the poor quality of sub contractors that created the issues in the first place and have extremely poor response times. We are disappointed with the quality of some of the work done on our home. One thing was said before we closed, but when we had issues to address with the quality of work, we were told that’s not covered under your warranty. I would think Pulte wouldn’t want to continue hiring contractors that didn’t do their best work or at least Pulte would correct the problem. I was told I could hire someone to fix it. I made a large investment and expected better work and customer service from a builder. In addition, Pulte Mortgage was a complete nightmare for our buying experience. Poor communication ...
