Good quality, I recommend it.

The issues I’ve had with the plumbing has existed since I closed on the home 23 September 2020 and it’s 15 December 2020 and the plumbing is still backing up. My bathroom and shower are inoperable.

Overall experience was good, cosmetic problem was founded in the house.

Where do I begin? Pulte and specifically, its staff is stretched thin on local construction coordinators/managers. That, along with just very little oversight caused lack of quality control during our build process. I was basically their QC person each time I visited my home during the construction process. The homes in this neighborhood range from $600K+, but the quality of workmanship and materials is that of a house less than half that price. Pulte communicates one message prior to closing, but once you've closed, they don't communicate the same way. Furthermore, their Warranty folks appear to be inundated so its rare to get a response or any action on any items you've submitted. All in all, a below average experience for the price paid. This sentiment is shared by multiple people who live in the neighborhood. Pulte builds fairly decent homes for the price. I would recommend this builder if you are looking for a home that’s doesn’t give you wasted space in there models. Our home was in the mid to upper $300s but with almost every possible to make it look nice. At the end of the day I did not experience anything over the top when compared to other builders and we build 4 homes thus far.

The team was great.

Builder should hire subcontractors that will put more attention to details and final completion before handing over the property.

The quality of the work was great. Very responsive and no major issues with the construction. From day 1 to closing date everything was great.

Everyone is fantastic and the house was built to the highest quality. We were informed about every step of the process. Great communication!

The process of building the house was somehow smooth. Some of the materials used were not best quality (ie. wood for wall studs, gypsum boards). Even the carpenter confirmed this. The field managers relies on the contractors for supervision. The construction is in autopilot, little supervision from field managers. If you see issues during inspection make sure they are taken care before closing. After closing you have to request warranty service which will cause lots of headaches. I had window frame redone twice due to bad construction. Wall redone because of bumps on it. Door replaced because they tried to fix a broken door. The door replaced was not installed correctly. Another person came to hammer the frame trying to fix it. Another person came a different day to finish it by covering nails and apply caulking, another day the painter came to touch up. All of this because they didn’t level the door when first installed. A total nightmare. They installed a sliding door in a shower which I pay $1,800 as an upgrade that you can’t use because the toilet blocks your way out of the shower. And you can’t get out from the entrance door because there is no handle. Pulte says is the right door and refuses to change it. Even one manager came to the house and was unable to get out of the shower and still refused to change it “because is on the plan”. Ordered as an upgrade, safety bars for the showers. They installed the wrong ones, is over 2 months and still waiting for the right ones. They tried to make you feel that you are wrong and accept their mediocre explanations and wrong products. Very pleased with our new Town Home at Longleaf and overall experience. The mtg. team did a great job of communicating and making it a pleasant process. Our home is well constructed and the finishes are great. Kris has been great in helping get us oriented. He's very responsive and always helpful.

Exceptional service from every employee from the sales office in Orlando to the processors in Colorado. Everyone I spoke to always had an answer and helped me out with understanding the entire process of buying my home. The Pulte team definitely exceeded my expectations!

Make sure the mortgage lender, field manager and closing agent are in communication. Ours was a case of poor communication. Spend hours during walk through to make sure the faucets and electrical components work; check proper installation of sliding doors; run sprinklers, check sewage pipes are intact otherwise sewage will flow out on the lawn. Check if tiles especially the backsplashes are properly laid out. Ours was sticking out from the wall and could not be fixed other than breaking the wall. Double check closing documents especially if you paid some items ahead of closing because it gets included again in the closing cost. Don’t wait until you move into the house and find a lot of things not done right. Allow days to get things fixed before signing closing documents otherwise you’ll be unhappy when you find out a lot of things have not been done properly and you have to keep requesting for work orders. Garage floor and sliding doors and windows should be clean when you move in; check closely for glass scratches; check pavers for dry wall stains and cracks. Pulte needs to evaluate workmanship of their contractors as well as the quality of materials they use which are of cheap quality. When you move into a new house, it should be new and of good quality. We moved into the new house and instead of being excited we found ourselves so stressed out getting things fixed. From our perspective, Pulte failed its quality control responsibility. ... More
