Pulte are using sub-skilled, illegal laborers that are supervised (infrequently). This lead to multiple issues during the house building stage. I was at the site daily addressing issues. I don’t have any equal sized window frames and this was apparent whilst measuring for window treatments. There have been multiple issues since move-in (the majority of which have been addressed under warranty) but the vast majority of issues are due to poor workmanship which begs the question as to what you are actually paying for?!? These are visible surface issues and I cringe at what is possibly at fault ...

Poor response after the sale

Be cautious about one sided contract. If you delay closing they charge $250 a day. If they delay closing they don’t pay you anything. Delivering a finished home before closing is never in their dictionary, to have buffer for inspection is not a possibility. Pending stuff we’re promised to be finished in a week time after closing, it is now one & half month and people are not even responding. Struggling to connect. Pulte inspection on making sure your specifications are taken care is zero. They give the drawings to sub contractors, if the do their job 100% you are lucky. If you find out ...

The most ridiculous builder ever.

We were told that we should pick Pulte Title to do the closing because being part of the parent company the things go much more smoothly. Lie. Total lie. Our final walkthrough was scheduled after the closing and the keys to the house were not given to us for two full days after the closing. And then when we needed repairs done, we simply did not get any response for weeks, and got service only after we escalated the matters to senior management.

During the final inspections of the house, be careful not to be touched by Isaac De Pulte in Tohoqua. He is an irresponsible person who promises to fix every detail in your house and does nothing. Be careful, Pulte. He should see these reviews and take action first. He is the customer.

Horrible buying experience in general. From the sales, mortgage, and the title company everyone was pretty bad and unprofessional. They will treat you very good and give you false promises just to sell the house to you. They will for sure disappear and ignore you multiple times after the house is sold. You have to make sure you’re free at all times for the mortgagee underwriting process because they will tell you last minute and if you don’t make it you won’t get your loan. We had a horrible experience after our home flooded because water bottle was left in plumbing. We had several other issues like bathroom glass missing, no water going to dishwasher. I wish I had something better to say, the mortgage experience was terrible, last minute they switched out our construction manager (he was pretty decent) to a new one that pretty much didn’t care. I still having issues with my grass and irrigation and zero answers… there’s plenty of little cosmetic issues inside the house that need to be addressed.

Please do not use pulte’s PGP for your closing. Get your own. Destiny is one of the most unprofessional people we have ever dealt with. Pulte tried to move our closing a week later because they did not submit the paperwork to the proper county. This company is very irresponsible, I handed over the house with a large water leak, in bathrooms and an invoice of more than USD859 for this problem, the garden grass was handed over dry in a terrible state. I paid for an electrical connection for an electric car and it was not there, the dishwasher did not work, many touch-ups due to failures in doors, walls, the roof was distorted outside the house, the interior doors are raised with a space of at least 2" left girls, poor quality cabinets, worst of all, is that the water is 30 centimeters deep. This is the worst business of my life. the house does not have any construction quality for the price. They only started to be upfront after surveys were given. We were told originally that our building would be completed in about 8-10 months. It took almost 2 years. The only updates we received were when we reached out. My parents bought a pulte home on 2006, man did this builder go down the tubes. From my "closing" to current day this house has been a nightmare. Construction manager ian has tried his best but his team has failed him every step. Bad woring , wrong doors in the house , stuck sliding doors, missing sheet rock, 4 nails in my cars tires because of no clean up, glass in my foot! Recently the walk in closet shelf collapsed and fell on my fiancée! The list still goes on! The quality of this house is a joke! The standards this company has is little to none!

Terrible craftsmanship, communications, zero honesty, responsiveness to issues was average or slightly above. People were pleasant to work with. The following transgressions have happened since moving into my home via the contractor next door: Pulte did nothing to stop theft of Water and Electricity. Came home to workers helping themselves to my water and power. This happened multiple days, had to call police to arrest behavior.
