Pulte had an easy process for picking out our options and guided us through everything. After we moved in there were a few items needing attention that we pointed out. Pulte warranty was all over it! very happy with our sales team and the our builder!

The individuals responsible for ensuring that our transition was a smooth one did a truly excellent job.

I have had major issues such as , the main drain water line broken in two places, second floor hallway sinking in, burnt out light fixtures, nails sticking through the carpet . Sadly enough I’m stuck here. Kitchen cabinets are of poor quality, although they look nice.

I had to switch lots because the front elevation of my original home was drastically changed and would no longer allow access for my physically handicapped family members. There was no communication from Pulte about the change, I discovered it during my initial walk through, after construction had begun. The new lot was a compromise on my part, as it did not have the same benefits as the original, but I decided to go with it. Switching lots slightly delayed my closing date, but I was mostly able to transfer everything over from the original contract. Upon closing, the tiles in my bathrooms had to be ripped out and replaced because they were wrong and I spent the first few days in my new home allowing access to tilers. I have a laundry list of items that will need to be addressed through the warranty. Everything from crummy paint jobs to crooked installations. While many things do look nice, there are also a great many details that look like they were lazily slapped together. One reason I chose my new lot was because it had no rear neighbors. I was told the area behind the home would remain green and lush with trees and grass. Less than one month after closing, my HOA fees went up $30/month because they “forgot” to add insurance to the monthly assessments. Less than 2 months after I moved in, the green area, newly planted trees, and quiet bike path behind my home were ripped out to make way for a parking lot. The beautiful, natural view I was promised would never change is now a dirt pile awaiting ugly asphalt and concrete, to be filled with strangers’ cars, not 10 feet away from my driveway. There has been no communication from Pulte about the change, I have been trying to get information from them on how/why this decision was made, and how/why Pulte feels they can change an agreement after they’ve taken our money. Not to mention they’ve been working on this parking lot for almost two weeks, and the heavy equipment being used has been shaking and rattling my home to the point that pictures have fallen off the walls and items are being shaken off of shelves. I am angry and frustrated with Pulte for one instance after another of pulling the rug out from under their customers. The ladies who work in the sales office have been as kind and helpful as possible, but they can only do so much. Pulte needs to step up and treat their customers with integrity and honesty, and keep their word instead of changing the terms after a contract is signed. ... More

This is my first home in the US, and I am buying another one with the same Builder. Very good quality and trustworthy

Excellent and reliable construction company that delivered the house on time and according to the agreed specifications. The team that have supported us after receiving the house was excellent and always available to solve the normal minor issues to be adjusted.

Built long distance. Pulte crew kept us informed, any questions were promptly answered and any issues resolved quickly. Final walk through our expectations were surpassed. Closing went smooth. You pay a little more for Pulte, but definitely worth it!

Pulte provided us with a new home with exceptional workmanship and quality. Throughout the construction process they kept us informed, regularly. When a concern came to their attention it was addressed and resolved to both our satisfaction. We highly recommend the Pulte Group.

Our initial build was not what you would expect from a new home of this caliber. However, Pulte so far has stood behind making it right and getting the home where it should have been at closing. This is completely due to Kristi from the Pulte Warranty department and in no now way reflects the oversight of the initial build process. There are still 3 more vendors coming to do work with the worst one being Synergy - which in a month and 10 days after close has still not completed the work we paid for when we bought the home. Also, the tile floor is on round 3 of being fixed and is still WIP. At the end of the day, we are confident we will be where things should have been with this house. This purchase has been a very disappointing experience. I owned Pulte before and that's why I had some comfort purchasing another Pulte home. However, that won't happen again. My very first impression was when I walked into my master bathroom on my first day as an owner...there was urine on my toilet seat. Unbelievable. Additionally, I have come to find that the quality of worksmanship is just not up to measure commensurate with the price paid. These homes are thrown up just as quickly as possible and the substandard workmanship shows. I have contacted both the site manager and the warranty manager with a myriad of issues and not one has been addressed to this day (two months after move-in). Better builders for the price! ... More

Quality of workmanship is mediocre. I had a contractor come to repaint the walls to my colors. At that time they found that some of the walls were not straight and had a slight bow in them. There were some other issues that were pulled out by independent survey team that found various other issues as well, most of these were addressed by the Pulte team and fixed very quickly.

Overall Pulte is a quality builder when the project is not rushed. We had a great construction manager who made sure that our home was built with excellence

Pulte was there walking me thru the process of buying and truly made it stress free.

I love our home. But I would have preferred better finishing. Many areas are not smooth as should be.

They charged me more, delivering a different finish than the one I requested. We had choosen U2 model, but they sold (and charged us) another model. We spent about US$7,000 more. I asked for money back, but had no answer till now.

Me and my fiancé had a very difficult time with our mortgage consultant and I highly recommended that you check in regularly because communication was not good at all in my experience. The house is great although we’ve had a hard time getting people to fix little things that’s in the warranty

The staff in sales office were amazing. They were so supportive. Chris was awesome keeping me updated and walking me through things! Great experience

I bought a new home thinking about wont have troubles with maintanace, but I was wong. I already haved problems wit air conditioning, paint of the pool floor is running down to the pool, broken wall toilet paper holder, a crumpled on the wall of the restroom in the pool area, crack in the wall of the master room and I need the a few of the same ink tou painted my front ddor to fix the difference between the locks that I changed.

Pulte are using sub-skilled, illegal laborers that are supervised (infrequently). This lead to multiple issues during the house building stage. I was at the site daily addressing issues. I don’t have any equal sized window frames and this was apparent whilst measuring for window treatments. There have been multiple issues since move-in (the majority of which have been addressed under warranty) but the vast majority of issues are due to poor workmanship which begs the question as to what you are actually paying for?!? These are visible surface issues and I cringe at what is possibly at fault structurally or behind the walls with the same shoddy workmanship. This company lures clients with an exceptionally built model home but does not build your home with the same consistency. ... More

A very smooth and easy home buying experience.

My wife and I have purchased 10 new homes during our marriage, (military and then post military job moves), and while Pulte was one of our favorites (Centex was the other favorite) this experience was a complete nightmare. The subs building the project were horrible, incompetent, would fix one thing and make 3 more errors, it was almost like they were both unsupervised but also incapable of the level of work required to deliver a standard track home. I saw them leave huge amounts of trash (lunch bags, old coke bottles, constructure trash, in the center island and then put the marble island top on without removing it. The quality of the wall orange peel was awful, the appliances were dented or bent, our fridge had a deep scratch in the front, our iron railings were installed by someone who had never done them before and they installed them wrong and argued they had no standard for how to install them, the stairs creak like this is a 100 year old home, and much more. Each time we identified a list of things to fix, they would fix and then make many more errors, e.g., we'd ask them to repaint the window sills and then they would leave a circle of paint on the floor. The delivery manager worked hard to fix many things but maybe the subs were simply so horrible, and Pulte wouldn't fine or fire the subs and the delivery manager was simply managing far too many homes to be on top of everything, but the experience was so bad, we decided to sell the home the day after we moved in. I have pictures of all the homes in the neighborhood with ridiculous errors while being built. Huge amounts of trash in the front, or inside the home while building, silly ways of nailing wood together, terrible finish quality (it was like a bunch of junior high kids building a house for the first time). We even saw them (I have pictures) dump the prebuilt rafters for a home into a pile in the front yard like a pile of pick-up-sticks and then use a fork lift with chains to pull one out of the pile at a time and put them on the roof. Each was bending in strange ways such that they probably damaged the integrity of the prebuilt rafters. I also have pics of multiple houses where they had water leaks (before closing) and so they had to cut holes into the ceiling to repair and then pull up the carpeting to let it and the floor boards dry out. Who wants a house that has been flooded?? Pulte management needs to take a serious look at what happened in this neighborhood and how prevalent it is across the country. I would like to know that Pulte senior leadership knows about this and is responding. ... More
