Having a house built was easy. All the people involved made it a nice experience. I have been in the home for almost 2 months and I'm amazed at the quality of the work. This has been the best decision I have made and I'm 97 years old. I'm very happy with my decision to build a home with Pulte Homes.

Linda, John, Mark were great in addressing any questions and concerns from sale and construction. Richard Ireland is on top of any guarantee issues that may arise. Pulte Homes are Leaders in building excellent communities!

I would highly recommend Pulte Homes. We were not living in Florida when the home was being built, when we arrived the home was in great condition. This is our 3rd home we built, and by far the best.

We are extremely happy with our new purchase of our house in the Retreat at Lake Brantley. The home itself is extremely well built and very energy efficient. The fit and finish is also extremely good and any issues that have come up have been quickly addressed by Pulte through Jason, he is really on top of things. We have lived in our new home for almost two months and now feel like it is our home. The private lake access is icing on the cake and we enjoy paddle boarding and taking the jet ski out.

Very well designed and functional. The only thing is that the workmanship is very poorly done, not professional workers. The paint inside is horrible, spot missing on wall, paint on the rugs, doors are so rough you can’t wash them. The grass was put on top of the sprinklers we had to dig them out. We spoke with neighbors in the community and they told us they had similar problems. For the price of these home I expected more quality work done.

Pulte was great to work with, we love our new home!

Clearly Pulte have poor communication within their organisation, which in my case of purchasing two properties, resulted in threats from Pulte about a potential closing delay due to issues created by Pulte and COVID-19. No respect for time zones, no customer focus, no apology from Pulte corporate. Overall a very stressful and dissatisfying process from when business sealed through to closing.

The sales manager/assistant and the Pulte's home inspector were great in everything.

During construction I used to receive constant reports, I received important and clear information. Team was available and with prompt and clear answers to my questions. Warranty team is also very attentive.

Good team work

We lived in St. Pete and could only visit to look and purchase twice. Then one in early construction. We were given feedback often and when we arrived to move house was nearly perfect. We appreciate your warantee team as they have done great work.

The house is nice. It was built as advertised and it has the quality proposed for this type of home. In some areas it even is better then expected. All granite counter-tops have a thickness greater than what we usually see out there. This is only one example. The "BUT" on the title refers to the common area. The Swimming Pool is WAAAY different than what was advertised. I understand that it might change a little bit but dramatically reduce the size is not a small change. This is the type of change that was planned and definitely discussed and for some rea$on they decided to save money on that area leaving to the home owners something different than what they promissed. ... Received a brand new home that doesn't look new at all. A lot of details missing, on top of a terrible paint job on both the inside and outside of the house. Entrance to the house was never pressure washed by the time we close on the property and lets not even talk about the terrible cleaning job both inside and outside the house. Truly disappointed, and already to late!

Everything seems great until about the last 1-2 weeks prior to you closing on your new home. During that time is when the inside of the house actually starts to come together. At that point you will meet with a Project Manager that will walk you around the house to mark any areas that you deem to be flawed. The majority of this is related to drywall, paint, etc. At that point they will add tape to the affected areas. Here is where the issue lies. After you spend literally 2 hours marking the whole place up, they trust and turn over the work to subcontractors that have no skin in the game. For example, if a certain area needed to have the drywall fixed (i.e. sanded) it will require 2 coats of paint. They will just add one coat, remove the tape and call it a day. If you are not good about going back a day or two after and can remember ALL the MANY areas you marked up, you will find yourself having to do it all over again. Now you will find yourself days away from closing which this is where the issue of their process gets worse. Before closing you will tell the PM all of the things that still remain (including things that a home inspector will find but will most likely do the inspection days before the close) and you will be assured that they will be fixed and that you have a warranty. As soon as you close, you will be turned over to another person, Warranty Specialist who was not privy to all previous discussions, issues, etc. and will become extremely frustrated having to be redundant going through all of this again. And now, best part, every issue you have YOU will now have to access Pulte's "maintenance portal" and document these issues (i.e. creating a ticket) to get this work done. Also, the warranty specialist will ask more questions and possibly provide some push back on things that were agreed to and pointed out previously. ... More

Excellent field manager: his communication, honesty, hard work. Poor communication between different sales agents at Lemon Lake Office. Careful about changing structural options. Big penalty if you change your mind about ceiling height. Be very careful about incentives: Obsolete, non-energy efficient washer/dryer installed. Yet, refrigerator/freezer are fine. Poor follow-through after move-in. HOA Representative not available on closing date ( a Thursday). Finally available on the following Monday. Problems with gate entry closed at 6 PM. Awful experience with landscaping company: sprinklers on at 1 AM, spraying patio doors and furniture for 15 minutes on consecutive nights. House we moved in to needed a lot of work. It was very dirty and we felt it was of poor workmanship. Even the materials used in our house are flimsy.

I have heard horror stories about friends and families building houses and when they may have an issue, the builder will not fix, or if they do they never get it right. Pulte has been great, they build a beautiful home and they were very prompt in addressing any concerns that we had!

The home floor plan was perfect, and the attention to details and workmanship have exceeded our expectations. We are very happy with our home purchase with Pulte homes @ Phillips Grove.

Stay on top of the building process.

Pulte sales team, from the moment we walked in, understood my families need for a house that was our home. They helped us pick out the right lot, design the perfect home and prepare us for the design lounge and the building process. I highly recommend Pulte, we are so happy with our home and are excited for all the memories we will make in it.
