We relocated from Wisconsin; thrilled to move into a brand new home. However, we were hit with a sobering reality that a new home doesn’t mean that the builder put any care into the home. We moved into a home with broken cabinets, literal holes in the flooring, pealing paint, pools of water in the lanai, electrical sockets not properly installed, improperly installed doorbell, mismatched windows, parade of ants, cheap appliances, and a sheer lack of care for the build of this home! We are left heartbroken for selling out beautiful home in Wisconsin for THIS! Would not recommend Pulte!

After reading some bad online reviews for Pulte, we were very happy with the whole process and would highly recommend them. We were out of towners while our home was being built. Andrea, our sales consultant, at the community was quick to answer any questions we had. Zac who handled our loan was quick and effficient. Ryan our construction manager was quick to give us updates on our home and resolved any items that we noticed that needed to be corrected. Eleanor at the title company was awesome to work with as well. Everything was very smooth. We did not use their home owners insurance as I found better and less expensive coverage elsewhere, but they were quick to offer a quote at least. ... More

I had a great experience with my construction manager assigned for the build of my home. Andre was great to work with during the entire process of the build of my new home.

I am writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with Pulte Homes. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Here are the main issues I have encountered: 1. **Lack of Customer Service:** From the beginning, the customer service has been abysmal. The CM and management I dealt with were rude and insensitive to my concerns. They displayed a complete lack of empathy and professionalism, making the process even more stressful. 2. **Need for ongoing services Shortly after moving in, we discovered an infestation of pests. We have had the AC and electric out 3 times and are still getting it serviced. It’s unacceptable to move into a new home and have to deal with such problems. 3. **Missed Upgrades in Plans:** The upgrades that were promised in the initial plans were not delivered. This was a significant factor in choosing Pulte Homes, and the failure to provide these upgrades feels like a breach of trust. If we didn’t catch the mistakes, Pulte would have gotten away with it and took the money. 4. **Lack of Response from Management:** Perhaps the most infuriating part has been the complete lack of response from management. Multiple attempts to reach out and resolve these issues have been ignored. It's clear that once they have your money, they no longer care about customer satisfaction. Our experience with buying from Pulte has been terrible. Construction manager Colton reassured us that the problems we had prior to closing would’ve been fixed afterwards when in fact, they did not. No communication from him apart from when we needed a new sliding door but instead left a white patch on my wall without paining over due to an error on the constructions team behalf. Our sales representative Monira hardly ever reached out to answer our questions, unless she needed something from me and my husband. You would think we would be treated better and the build quality of a half a million dollar home would be an impeccable experience but it’s not instead I’m sending in pictures to warranty for things to be fixed in my home four MONTHS after closing! ... We have purchased several homes with Pulte and it has always been a great experience, but working with our supers at the Tohoqua community has been Amazing! Shane and Jordan have been on top of things every step of the way and have been great with communicating timelines and processes.

I bought a new brand new house for $800K and in less than 2 weeks of receiving and haven't even moved there and I found a significant water leak in one of the bathroom, haven't the entire wall to be damaged and full of mold, cousin me a big disruption on my plans to move in.

Pros: Construction Manager was excellent; resolved issues in a timely manner. In general, the home was well-built, Cabinets & flooring were well done. Cons: The sod was poorly installed - very uneven, virtually no top soil. Some of the finishing work was shoddy, e.g., caulking, painting were disappointing. Toilet quality poor. Master bath mirror has scratches.

I am an experienced and retired executive with lot f background in real estate. Pulte needs to shape up in its corporate behavior. Currently it stinks. You have collected initial contribution of $2500 for amenities and collecting monthly HoA. what for". You did not have even nerve to inform us the timeline for amenities. You are interested only to make money but not fulfill your promises. It is better for your senior executives to come and meet with us before gets chastised by a judge and make refunds to community. Unfortunately, the process was marred by numerous issues that have left me extremely dissatisfied. Below is a detailed account of the problems I encountered and the lack of adequate response. 1. Quality of Materials and Craftsmanship: Throughout the construction, I had to frequently report problems related to the quality of materials and the craftsmanship involved. Here are specific examples: Wood with Fungus: Structural elements of the house were constructed using wood that had visible fungus, posing a significant risk to the integrity and safety of the structure. Sub-Fascia and Trusses: These components were not adequately secured to each other, raising serious concerns about the structural stability of the roof. Missing/Cracked Mortar: There were numerous instances of mortar missing or being cracked, which compromises the strength and durability of the masonry. Structural Elements: Issues with critical structural components such as gusset plates, “H” clips, and anchor bolt nuts were prevalent and not adequately addressed. Loose Roof-to-Wall Connections: The connections between the roof and walls were found to be loose, which is a major safety concern. Insulation Problems: Wet, broken, and dirty insulation was used, which is unacceptable for ensuring proper thermal efficiency and indoor air quality. Damaged Tiles: Many tiles were broken, detracting from the overall aesthetic and functional quality of the home. 2. The person even commented that Pulte was a large production builder and not a customized builder. However, their lack of action further exemplified the company's disregard for customer concerns. They fell short of ensuring the traders took responsibility for the poor quality work and suppliers material quality Overall Experience: It is evident that Pulte is not a customer-oriented company. The primary focus seems to be on constructing expensive houses with poor-quality materials and subpar craftsmanship, expecting clients to accept the shortcomings without recourse. Given this experience, I urge your company to take the following actions: Conduct a thorough review of the materials and craftsmanship used in their homes. Was quick and easy to close on my home

Building and moving can be overwhelming and stressful. Pulte made over experience happen efffortlessly. They were there to answer any questions or concerns. They accomodated our desires in building of home the best they were able. I highly recommend Pulte Homes.

While the house is nice, the lack of the multiple construction groups do now watch what they are doing. Ensure you have set up an inspection of the home. We did and received 80 pages of discrepancies that need to be fixed or repair. While I can understand the missed paint area, I can not fathom why the team would install roof trusses that are split or have broken connectors, why they install the drawers in the shelving backwards so they could not slide out, stone that is obviously cracked or split in pieces and tile that is not properly installed that will crack when pressure is put on it. . Our construction manger has been responsive to fix these issues but a month into it we are still waiting on some key things to get fixed. If you are able to supervise the build yourself it may make your final purchase a better exeprience. ... More

The quality of the house is what you expected for your price.

Wonderful well built home. Pulte handled all issues quickly and efficiently. We love it. From sales to securing the mortgage, the staff all went the extra mile.

Very poor service! Even before I moved in i was sent a water bill for over $600. I should not be responsible for something I have not used. Pulte management was not willing to help. The patio door is of low quality. Tiles are laid unprofessionally. Even the smoke detectors are not in working order. I will not recommend Pulte homes to anyone. My brother was planning to purchase from Pulte, but he changed his mind after my experience.

Overall craftsmanship of the home was poor. Can tell everything is mass produced and rushed. Minimal attention to detail. Had to do multiple warranty visits which was a slow process with slow response times, had to escalate everything. Pricing for some of the upgrades were out of control. WIsh we had some different upgrade options and ability to change some things, like kitchen pantry and closet shelfing. The process of actually buying the home, closing, and sales team were great!
