Sales rep and construction managers were great with communication. Finance in CO not so much (multiple handoffs, missed call, unanswered questions but no show stoppers). After closing customer care could be more responsive and and verify unconfirmed appointments. Overall very happy with process and product.

Overall experience up through closing was fairly positive. For a production type home ,Pulte does a good job. But every new home always comes with some after-construction issues. While Pulte goes out of their way to promise that these mostly minor issues will be promptly dealt with, in reality their response to rectify these issues has been less than promised. It seems that once closing is completed they just dont care as much. It's been more than 2 months since we closed and we're still waiting to hear from them on when these issues will be resolved. My Pulte home experience after one and a half month of ownership

We struggled with turning on some essential utilities such as Internet, Gas, problem with dish washer. We still have major issues with sprinkler system leaks that wasted thousand of gallons of water, a front window does not shut, no hot water to our laundry machine. It is difficult to contact Pulte home warranty team. However, the house itself is pretty solid against IAn storm, just 2 of our roof ridges were blown and a few minor items outside the house.

All in all the experience was good. This is a second, eventual retirement snowbird home. The communication was ok but I did not push. Closed in June and will not return to the home until this winter. Can’t speak on workmanship because we have yet to spend a day there. Construction managers were very knowledgeable, sales rep was great

Overall we’re happy with our home. The process ended up taking 4 months longer than they told us it would when we signed the contract but it was during the Covid supply chain period so I’m guessing most of it was out of their control. They were good about providing updates along the way and being responsive. When it came time to close, as with most new builds I think, there were quite a few things that weren’t up to par. Overall nice constructions although a little shoddy on some things (crown molding, paint, pavers, etc.) also, some of materials used are of the lowest quality (switches, outlet plugs, bath fixtures). Warranty department is also slow to respond and requires multiple phone calls/ emails to get a response (if they respond at all).

Design studio experience was very stressful. Two things. One. some options that were available were not discussed. Second, it would have been a much better experience with the design center to have at least 24 hrs. to change some decisions. or add some options.

The builder, his construction manager and his warranty team were very responsive to any issues that arose during the building of our house. Unfortunately, we had some subcontractors whose work was well below average, specifically the painter and whomever installed the duct work. The painter left many drips imbedded in our grout and the baseboards are a mess. Three ducts in our house contained styrofoam that prevented the fans from working properly. 30 days after closing and our kitchen cabinets still need trim work that should of been installed at closing. Over all a poor experience. It started with the sales consultant who is less than forthcoming in regards to the contract we got to point where we were going over everything and she said I’ll just email the rest. It’s a standard contract included in the contract without any discussion appliances and window coverings what we should’ve done, sat there until it was done, and everything was clear. We purchased a spec home so we will Half to upgrade appliances as we go, they were the low end KitchenAid. The final closing could’ve been a lot more organized as far as utility hook ups ,trash containers delivered ,code for the gate. All this took time, and I feel it should have taken place at the time of closing and receiving your keys. During the building process, communication was inconsistent with our project manager. We would have to bring up items several times before they were corrected, and some were not corrected. The last week of building was chaos and items were still being completed the day of closing. I know it is difficult to find quality sub-contractors and that is the biggest complaint. Zane made the whole experience a great one so did the title company. He was always responsive to texts and willing to help. However, I was delivered a house with some issues, which I believe is unacceptable. When I reached out to Pulte, they had people over within 2 weeks to take care of the issues.

I love the home, but the purchase and move-in was torture. Many things were a problem. It's been a month and most are fixed but some are still pending. Even so, I hear that other builders are worse. So, in comparison they might still be one of the top builders.

The process of purchasing a Pulte home was fairly easy. The process outlined in the Pulte videos was not followed at all. The walk final through went great, but the amount of re-work required is unacceptable. Pulte needs to do it right the first time.

I was expecting more in the finished product with Pulte. Maybe it is related to the subcontractors in our community, maybe the process. We still have unfinished punch out work that is yet to be completed after 90 days post closing. Moreover, I have 2 cabbage/Sabal palm trees that have died and was told that Pulte does not warranty landscape trees/scrubs nor does the company that installed them. The trees should have lasted more than 90 days. Very disappointed in their answer to a defective tree.
