dealing with Pulte Mortage was a PAINFUL experience... would NEVER go through that again. We are extremely disappointed with quality of finish work... drywall and paint work shows little focus to delivering a quality product. Looks very rushed.

Overall I’m pleased with the new home but certain things should have been done prior to closing. Certain paint did not match in some spots. Still waiting on the stainless steel refrigerator and it’s been almost 2 months.

The homes are built so fast that there is limited quality assurance: heat pump not wired correctly, sewer line blocked by construction debris, lawn sprinkler control faulty, paint and drywall residue on floor tile, seal around front door has a gap that sunshine can be seen through and the list goes on.

The home we moved into has a lot of issues that could be avoided with some extra care during construction of the home. We found several floor tiles cracked or chipped. We also found, after being in the house for a month, that good workmanship was lacking in many cases: painting spills and misses, door weathstripping ripped, cracked pavers with a lack of paver sand and lanaii that should have been cleaned. There was also a cracked window glass and a shingle has already blown off with only wind below 50 mph. What would happen in a hurricane is a question mark. We have contacted Pulte warranty ...

Throughout the purchase process, there were problems at every stage. Some highlights… *Sales* - did not review all the features available for structure (must select at contract) and we missed out on features we wanted and were told we could select at design. Also were sold features that were not possible with our HOA, resulting from incorrect marketing descriptions. Was fortunate to receive a credit for the inconvenience. Kitchen cabinets (dark blue) show lines and are not contructed properly. The contractor agreed to replace a door and to date (six weeks) this has not happened. A dent was noted on the microwave door and this was agreed to be replaced at time of closing and this has not been completed. Electrical outlets installed improperly and crocked and these have just been corrected after six weeks. Upgrades for appliances like washer and dryer, two drawer dishwasher and refrigerator were not offered. The joy of moving into our brand new "dream home" was short lived as we walked in to find pieces of insulation on the cooktop, dirty sinks and tub, dirty cabinets and windows. There was paint everywhere...on virtually every floor, outlet covers, towel bars, light sconces, etc. Caulking left a lot to be desired as well. Several doors rattle when closed and 1 door misses the strike plate entirely. Most recently your contractors were plugged into my electric to use it as they worked on the new build next to me. I discovered that in 7/5 when I was outside. We closed 2 months early on the house, which was a mess and the internet was not working and I still don’t have the pool heater working. We have had nothing but issues since the initial walk through of our home before the actual closing. We still ave items on our punch list still not completed after a month from the closing date. We have been very disappointed in the final workmanship in our home. We have November 1 scheduled for the fixes so we shall see. Additionally, we do not have the right appliances in dryer, refrigerator and others. Our order was cancelled when I called last week. Also I would have purchased more items if it had been clear they were structural but was told it was design meeting. So Pulte could have made even more money.

This is our second Pulte build the first one was great. The second one left us least impressed between water issues and drywall splitting and the lack of care when finishing the home. We spent a lot of money to have a beautiful home and as we walk through the home everyday it just feels like everything was rushed and issues were overlooked.

We love the design and structure of our house. Unfortunately, the finish quality leaves a lot to be desired. Pulte pushed us to close, but when we moved in the house was not complete, and there were many issues. We initially had a list of 20 items that had to be either completed or fixed. Stupid things that should have been caught, like the hole in the ceiling above the front door where a light should be, another huge opening in the garage ceiling because they did not give us an attic access cover, no power to the dishwasher, no water line to the fridge, a crooked window that won't open ...

I closed on my Edgewater property on May 9. I am still waiting for the painters to paint the concrete wall that patch a hole in the garge and a baseboard in the kitchen and a slider to keep the guest bedroom closet door in place. I waited from 1-4 last Friday and one person came out and glued the house back on my house for the second time. The grab bars I was promised were never installed in my shower either. Closed on my home in March. Multiple issues with workmanship and missing items. Everyone says they are going to rectify the problem, but all I get is multiple lies and put off. My advice is not to close on the home until everything is satisfactory. They say they will come back to fix the problem but never do.

Although PGP Title is separate from Pulte Homes, the experience with them started the home buying experience on a bad note. The individuals we dealt with were incredibly unprofessional and borderline rude. The folks we dealt with at Pulte Homes were nice for the most part but also unresponsive at times. The quality overall has been a bit of a disappointment. There were numerous things left undone at close that we are still trying to get taken care of through their warranty team. Be aware of options you pick. You have to pay extra for almost everything to get a decent home. The walk through was a joke. Also they do not hire skilled people (probably because of Covid) I have been here two months and still have issues, especially my daughters home next door. Floor plan is nice. I cannot write a great review when there was so many issues after moving in.

The process was good from the sales(Chip was great), design(Don't remember the lady's name but she was great), and build(Blake was good). Unfortunately due to us having COVID we were unable to do our walk-through so there are a few things not done. Made a list of repairs with Builders during walk through 2 months ago which they promised to fix but have only fixed one MINOR issue. There is very little communication. Once you close with Pulte, they forget all about you. The warranty department is no better. They set up appointments and when service arrives, the repair man doesnt repair the issue that the appointment was for.

It’sa good location and have nice floor plans/materials. When they were in a rush (all through 2021 and so far 2022) they made tons of obvious mistakes. It’s clear you’re not a priority. Make sure you get a comprehensive inspection, not just let them push you through a 10 minute “orientation”. My construction manager was abrasive and condescending, but I know that’s not true of all of them… (first one I had actually listened to us and treated us with respect). Hard to get responses from our construction manager as well as our customer service rep after we closed. Miscommunication caused us to not have the proper elevation package we asked for. Had major issues with our AC and dryer as well as minor issues with our dishwasher and street drainage system. Our sales rep Christine was great and very responsive, but getting help fixing these issues from the rest of the team was difficult, took a long time, and we only received responses and action by constantly following up and complaining.
