Thought Pulte was a better builder. My opinion…. Texture walls are terrible…. No linen closet in my model…..only the most expensive package comes with a cabinet over the refrigerator….,landscaping is atrocious.

It’sa good location and have nice floor plans/materials. When they were in a rush (all through 2021 and so far 2022) they made tons of obvious mistakes. It’s clear you’re not a priority. Make sure you get a comprehensive inspection, not just let them push you through a 10 minute “orientation”. My construction manager was abrasive and condescending, but I know that’s not true of all of them… (first one I had actually listened to us and treated us with respect). Unrelated to the builder, my closing was a mess - PGP Title *completely* inept - I think they were in over their heads with ...

Love our home, but the customer service was awful.

Hard to get responses from our construction manager as well as our customer service rep after we closed. Miscommunication caused us to not have the proper elevation package we asked for. Had major issues with our AC and dryer as well as minor issues with our dishwasher and street drainage system. Our sales rep Christine was great and very responsive, but getting help fixing these issues from the rest of the team was difficult, took a long time, and we only received responses and action by constantly following up and complaining.

Communication is poor. Construction Manager should be responsible for everything done "before" closed.

Experiences already sent into Pulte survey. No response from Pulte. The warranty manager is working on getting things done. We will see how this works. The house was not done "before" we moved in. It should not have closed. There were about 50 to 60 items either put in wrong, done, poorly or not done at all. Quality is not a word we would use for Pulte.

Over promised and underachieved

Quality Assurance after the build was non-existent, many of the problems caught by me should have been caught during the final QA such a gas leak discovered by the gas company after I moved in, front door improperly cut around door lock, garage door that would not close, no HVAC supply in one of the upstairs bedroom closets, paint, plaster and grease all over most of the window frames, paint all over interior door hardware and switch and outlet plates. I really have no confidence in any of the inspections performed by Pulte.

Pulte lacks sub oversight and quality of materials

We have had several issues immediately after buying, several cracked tiles noticed it appears Installed this way and tile chips, uneven floor with dips, cracked driveway pavers. Quality of kitchen cabinets is poor, had warranty work on cabinets and when they put the doors back they are now uneven, And draw keeps falling off track, Incorrect spacing of wires for tv wall hanging. Dripping gutter, house lacked final cleaning with dried grout or caulk on floor and very difficult to get off. Disappointing, Disgraceful and Upsetting

Initial delay in the lot being released resulted in a 100% increase in the price for that lot. Disclosures of requested information was incorrect; we purchased the home and lot “virtually” due to the pandemic. This service was offered to us however the Builder (or builder representative) was not prepared to handle that as inquiries that we made were incorrectly answered. We did not realize this until after the closing when the obtrusive noise from a “commercial chiller station” was evident (not only outside but INSIDE the home as well). We are so disappointed with our Pulte experience. We have had to submit multiple warranty work orders for items such as the guest bathroom exhaust fan vent was not connected to the outside of the attic; the closet doors were hung crooked; paint splatter spots on the tile floor, on countertops, and on the trim; chipped and lipped tiles, and missing grout - still not resolved; the island countertop has a scratch across the entire surface - still not resolved; the fiber optic cable for internet is not properly connected to the house - the cable currently runs across my lawn and my neighbor's ...

Between Tim, Andrew, Cindi, Kathy, Josh, Bryan - You all took away what was supposed to be an exiting chapter in my wife and my lives. We were not in a rush to close. The lack of quality and trustrothiness

We closed on our home 12/30/2021. There is a myriad of issues with our home. The warranty department is overloaded with other homeowners with issues. One of our neighbors has been dealing with the same issues for over a year. John, head of SWFL Pulte warranty, says they have 47 people working in warranty. I suggested that Pulte hire more construction managers and better contractors vs. trying to deal with quality issues after. Why? Because the warranty people doing the warranty work are also subpar. I can’t even begin to waist anymore energy on Pulte, worst experience ever. Don’t even consider using Pulte. I am so disappointed in everything especially looking back at all the red flags. I’m embarrassed.

The WORST builder and I've built and renovated with quite a few

We live in an area with many options for builders and we chose Pulte because of the salesman. He will ignore you after you close. He/ Pulte will push you to close before your house is complete, then persuade you that small issues can be fixed later under Warranty. Much of my street share the same complaint about this builder. They will send their mafioso warranty guy who will deny everything but the most obvious repairs needed. Even then, our "project manager" denied flooding around the house is a problem. Pulte build very poor qualities houses, cut conners in labors and materials, and very bad warrantee service

Pulte used cheap broken or bended wood (worse than the piece from trash can), and use bended metals all over the house (I have a lot of pictures), the distances between wood and metal frames are so far away, the house at most can last for only 10 years and the kitchen cabinets may fall off any day because there were very a few supporting wood and a few small nails put on. Beware of Pulte or any of their related co’s

Pulte DID NOT follow their own guiding principles: “Do the right thing”; “Compassion for the customer” or “Care about quality”. They bullied us into closing on a house that was Not “Complete, Clean or Move-In-Ready” They switch out appliances selected and paid for to lower level brand. A house that should look new looks like a 20 year old resale due to chipped floor tiles, chipped drywall corners, scratched doors, dented and gouged baseboard and trim, window, door, electrical and plumbing issues, too many more list.
