Overall very happy with our new home. Felt like a few things were not like the model and surprised. The “smart” features are not coordinated and barely enhance the home. Some do not work properly and ownership of the problem was dumped on the installing contractor who has been very poor on getting things right. Very long wait for hot water at all points. But again, the build process and quality has been excellent overall. Shane was very upfront and responsive, and Max too but he came near the end.

I would highly recommend Pulte Builders in the Brandon, FL area, but I would strongly caution against using Pulte Mortgage or other entities within Pulte Group.

Very good home buying experience.

The process can require some personal time, but it is well worth it.

The only suggestion that I have is that you go through the entire process of initial consultation, the smart home consultation and the design team consultation and then allow the buyer a week to finalize their decisions. This allows the buyer time to review in case they want to make final adjustments on the final product price.

I like the home but having been in the trades I am not thrilled with some of the workmanship. For the cost of the home I expected more.

Pulte home builders are the best but Pulte mortgage is a joke

Pulte builds a quality home we just have some minor issues but there warranty team is taking care of everything else smoothly.

Overall very happy however have had some issues with things falling apart which have been fixed but it has been sort of a hassle. Overall, very pleased so far.

My home is very nice and seems to be well constructed. I did not go with Pulte mortgage or homeowners insurance; therefore, that was slow process.

Love the home but been having a lot of issues and I only been here two months so Im not as happy as I was when i was purchasing. Please take your time when purchasing a new home it can be your worst nightmare if you dont do your homework.

As a first time homebuyer I was nervous about the process, although it was stressful, I don't think I'd rather go through the experience with home buying with any other company but Pulte.

Home buying experience is good but Service response for issues is not as it supposed to be. Since we moved in none of the pending issues are resolved even after 2 months of closing. Didn’t feel like it’s not the correct value for our money. Construction quality can be better as well.

It is important to us to note that our Construction Manager was very attentive throughout this process and corrected a lot of things along the way for us. The problem lies in the workmanship of the contractors brought out to actually build the home. So many things missed or poorly put together that led to numerous revisits and revisions. Important to hire an inspector to ensure that every detail of the home that may not be obvious to the homeowner is looked over and corrected. It's disappointing that it requires so much effort to ask over and over again for things to get corrected, but if this is a home you plan to live in for a long time, you want to do everything you can to ensure it is correct. ... We moved in over two months ago and are still waiting on things to be fixed that were on the celebration walkthrough list. We have to continue to follow up

Bying a home with Pulte is fine however avoid using Pulte mortgage at all costs! Dealing with them is an absolute nightmare!

Well designed homes, poor quality control on workmanship. Way too much pressure put on construction managers to deliver an impossible schedule

Overall Good Experience So Far!

What bothers me is all the grass they put in are loaded with frogs; however 2 times they got into my new home under the couch. They come out at night so you can't even sit outside cause they run in. It is a problem, otherwise everything was OK.

Initial sales experience and design studio interactions were great. Good value for price paid. Interaction with Superintendent could have been better - weekly updates were generally regularly given, but not always. Closing was delayed due to availability of materials. This is more due to the industry at the time and not the builder’s fault. At closing some issues were identified that have yet to be resolved. Warranty requests can take some time to be responded to/repaired. Overall a good experience and would definitely build with Pulte again.
