We purchased a new Pulte home at Epperson Ranch just over a month ago. It was a quick move-in home so we didn't have any input into the finishings or design. Nevertheless, we liked what we saw so we went ahead to purchase it. Although it was a brand new home, we decided to pay the extra $$ to get a new home inspection done, and we were very glad we did! Although the home itself was structurally sound, he found many areas that needed to be addressed. These included nails protruding on the roof, unfinished painting on the outside and inside, missing/malfunctioning door stoppers, incomplete ...

The Build quality is good but the overall responsiveness to the issues is poor. Many issues that were highlighted during the pre closing and build stage were fnot foxed and the frequent cleaning of the hoise was not done.There is a lot to improve on communication from sales, build teams.

By the time you see your house finished, you are amazed as it’s a dream coming true. By the time you settle in and start living inside it, you start noticing several aspects about the material and workmanship that could have been done better, such as stains all over the walls and flooring, hand marks from the workers that do not go away, poor quality painting that gets off easily and is sticky, small holes left unattended and so on. It’s a bummer to notice those items only after living on it, which starts to be a life of fixing minor issues.

There are few issues like Since we chose platinum package we have chosen vinyl but there is a gap between vinyl floor and the door frame. Drive way bricks not properly arranged. Also the closet racks all rusted the day we move in. Still following up for the replacement. Someone came to touch up that's what we need. Garage was not placed properly I see the bolt placed on one side unsupported and door hanged somewhere. Guest restroom water clogged within a week. Title floor filings coming out now itself.

At my closing I pointed out something that needed to be so done my field manager said he would take care of he promised. He just wanted me to sign off... there are stain drippings on my stair case. There are granite on my floors and paint in my floors throughout my home, there is a deep scratch on my cabinets in my bathroom that I noticed as i was leaving out the bathroom as there was a piece of blue tape there but not addressed. The experience didn’t feel personal. For the amount we are paying for the house I expected better communication and follow up from Pulte’s end. I also expected better results from the vendors you used. It felt as if they didn’t care and our home wasn’t really a priority for them with how careless they were with some of their work. Pulte could do a better job with following up on your vendors worksmanship.

We are happy with the quick response for any issues. Since Putle is the one of the popular builder, we had great expectations regarding the quality and finishing by the time we close the house. However, we were very disappointed with the poor finishing. We see a lot of paint patch works across the home, doors paint wearing off in two weeks, they fixed it but same repeated. Unclean finish of grouting in the bathroom tiles. Doors misalignments and so on. Carpet issues like, it came off in a week not happy.

Ongoing issues still unresolved after closing some time ago. Pressed to sign the house was 100% at closing even though it was not and wanted to be nice because I do like the guys who built the house. Agreed to fill out their survey with all favorable remarks as I know there are bonuses tied to it, even though the work was not 100% done, I still did it. I am not confident that the issues will ever be taken care of.

We had a nice experience through the purchase program. Sales man was amazing and very helpful through the whole process. Construction wasn't what we were expecting. A lot of paint stains all over the house. Lots of dents and scratches on doors and trims. Issues with the pave that hasn't been resolved yet. It's been almost two months since we got into the house and most of the issues we pointed on the closing have not been solved.

They were in such a rush to complete the interior of the home that quite a few mistakes were made such as uneven floors, uncorked windows and scantily painted window panels, cuffed and splitting door frames, doorknob placed backwards and mal-adjusted kitchen cabinet doors. The list goes on. They tend schedule final walk through 2 days before closing and many issues go unresolved thereafter.

The sales staff was great the rest of the process was awful I wish there was a do over financing process because I hate what I settled for to get the job done and underwriting were terrible. For starters, when doing the 2-hour walk-through, instead of getting some explanations all we got were excuses. My project manager did a great job communicating with me during the build process. However a week before closing we were assure things would be fixed by closing and they were not. Then we were assured they would take care of it while we were in the house. When we followed up we were told we had to put in warranty tickets. Now we've been in the home two months, our doors are not aligned, tile is crooked and chipped, and my floors are not level.
