I’ve purchased 5 new homes. Pulte has been the worst in initial quality.

I have had nothing but issues since the day I moved into this house. For the amount of money I paid, I should not be experiencing so many electrical issues. Not impressed at all.

It's not like the model

We have somewhere around 100 footprints on our driveway from workers with concrete on their boots! We have dead plants because they were installed and not watered until after 3 weeks! We have tile in the shower that looks like a first grader installed it !The pocket door to that bath is 1 inch wider at the bottom of the frame than the top of the frame! There is a column it the hallway that is at least 1 inch out of square! That is what we paid too much for in this home! Our closing date was rushed according to our construction manager he had requested the date be moved out two weeks but Pulte asked him to keep it as is (in fairness we were moving from out of state so both sides had a need to close quickly). With the date being rushed we knew there would be some punch list items that they would need to come back and take care of. They asked us to give them 2-3 weeks to make it right. Numerous Quality Issues

Our home had many delays which I understand is out of the builder’s control to a certain extent. But the quality of the build is sub par - there were many issues we found at our closing walk-through that took months to be addressed. Also, some of the materials, such as the paint, are very low quality. Our appliances have dents in them and most of the sod laid in the yard was dead when they laid it. Communication from the builder is not at an acceptable level. I will never build a Pulte house again and would not recommend anyone else.

Pulte did not meet our expectations with respect to the quality of workmanship of the house. There were so many drywall issues before closing which Pulte didn't bother fixing and asked us to close the home first and rest will be taken care right after closing. It's been 6 weeks since we moved in and our drywalls were not fixed as promised. They kept postponing dates and only performed temporary fixes and not resolving the issue as a whole. Due to this we are unable to settle down in the house as quickly as we could. If I could build a home all over again, I would go with a different builder.

horrible finishes and quality

the build quality is horrible and the home was not even cleaned properly before i was given the keys on the day of closing. the build quality is such that , i keep finding some or the other stuff wearing off every single day. the construction manager doesnt even respond after closing. the island was never painted properly. just another sloppy substandard housing community which cramp into each other.

We are not happy with the delays and lack of commitment to make this process a smooth transition. We have been in this house almost two months and we are still waiting on things to be fixed. The response time is slow and we are constantly being told we are waiting for a response from the vendor. We believe that a builder should have several vendors so that when one is slacking the the other can pick up the slack. The customer should be in this bind. I would not recommend Pulte to a friend or family member!!!!

I did not expect this, last new home bought was in 2017. Then and now the differences, the sales office is rude, the first question is what is ur budget? Do u have an appointment (no hi no hello, no greeting). The dry wall contractor and framing contractor and the landscaping sub contractors have done a very poor job and have taken the joy out of new house. Our experience with the sales office and design center was very good. However, from the moment the building process began we discovered somethings were not the same as discussed in the sales office. We were not advised that outdoor kitchen pre-wire was an option, even though we requested it. The buying experience was alright, we were disappointed in our inability to select options in our home that were pre selected by the builder. This required us to pay extra for features we would not have chosen and to forgo completion of additional features we would have included. Salesperson was great and construction manager was trying to do everything he could, but corporate was rushing closings. We were promised that everything on our walk threw list would be completed or scheduled within 3 weeks.....Didn't happen! 2 months in and still waiting. House was really dirty inside and grouting looked like a 3 year old did it. House is almost 2300 Sq ft and they put a 2.5 ton AC that runs constantly. Bad jobs, less but very expensive upgrade options

Pulte hires bad contractors who do bad jobs. They don't follow Field Manager's instructions. Field Managers are overloaded and they don't have enough bandwidth to monitor quality of work. Pulte's internal quality team does pathetic job and that's why they certify home with so many issues which homeowner need to point out. Before closing I had marked several items but those were not fixed so I accepted several flaws as it is, just to ensure no further delays in moving-in.

Sale process was quick, but too many issues with quality

While the buying experience was quick, and was given update on progress regularly, the quality of the house was poor, and it is taking forever to get the issues fixed. There were around 20 issues from which include some safety concerns. I am still frustrated following up on half of the pending issues 1.5 months into occupancy. My suggestion to buyers, don't close until all the issues are fixed.
