Great Workmanship, timely and trustworthy for the price paid.

Everything was done as promised

We are very happy with our new Clearview model in Starkey Ranch. We have noticed a few minor issues with workmanship, but they have been responsive to many issues. Since we’re in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic things are at a bit of standstill for warranty work, but I’m hopeful once things ramp back up they’ll get everything taken care of.

Great experience

I have noticed that adjoining bedrooms or bathroom need more sound deadening material between the drywall. Sounds are easily transmitted and heard without any buffer.

My experience was wonderful as a first time homebuyer. Tyler was excellent. Trenton was attentive. Great group.

Mike the site leader is extremely personable, knowledgeable and committed to do right by the customer. We found a number of issues during the final walkthru that were quickly addressed to our satisfaction. We just recently provided a list of items as part of the 30 day inspection and I am confident they will be as responsive on those as they were on the walkthru list. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Nothing is perfect. Yes, I had issues reported during walk through and after I moved to the new house. Everything is being take care by Pulte team and contractors. Joe my site manager seems to be more concern with issues than myself. His support has been amazing.

The Field manager we had was/is awesome. Field manager oversees construction from beginning to end. Inside the home every effort I feel was made to complete on time and with quality. There were things I thought could have been done better that I did not notice until after closing. Mainly outside. The landscaping was rushed and is done to a fair to good standard not to a high standard. Pulte builds good quality homes. I had to keep in mind there are luxury not custom homes.

Pulte homes has one of the best customer service. And it gives me peace of mind. Usually, after closing, you don’t hear from the builder anymore. But pulte homes have a 30 day window to check if there’s any other issues after closing.

Despite a few minor setback, our overall experience with Pulte from day one was a positive one. Our saleslady was very knowledgeable, personable, & replied to emails & phone calls in a very timely fashion. The design center experience was a fun one as well. Our project manager was very communicative with us in every step of the build process. He also answered questions & responded to concerns we raised in a very timely fashion. Securing our financing through Pulte Mortgage was not difficult, but our loan officer, though very friendly, could have been more helpful. We weren't provided with many different loan products or scenarios to fit out budget. We had to do our own research of available loan structures & bring them to her attention. Fortunately, Pulte offered the same products that others did, we just didn't know about them up front. The overall construction of our house met our expectations. It was completed faster than we thought, which raised some concerns that certain things may have been rushed or overlooked. One example was the interior paint job. Most rooms in the house either had a very thin layer of paint or a lot of drywall overspray in spots. We paid for upgraded paint inside the house, & we don't feel we got our money's worth. There were a few other disappointing things as well, but nothing that was a deal breaker. For example, midway through the build process, they decided to change the vanity in the master bathroom to one that had fewer drawers & less functionality. We were not really given a decent explanation for this, & my wife was very upset about it (still is). Another example was the way they went about installing tubes inside of the walls to hide cables for wall-mounted TV's. It was not done how we were lead to believe. It ended up being an incredible headache. Aside from a few other negligible things, we are very satisfied with our new home. Sales and Construction personnel were great. All very knowledgeable, attentive and responsive. The closing side fell short. Our senior agent felt put out at some very mundane requests. Overall we would consider a repeat buy with Pulte if we were ever again in the market.

Everything was good up until our walk through. Tyler our CM deceived us and withheld information on our AC unit. For the first month of owning our new home we were without AC (family of 6) for 2 weeks out of 4 weeks. Had 5 total technicians come and give different reasons for not working. The sod was dead and has yet to be replaced, we had no ethernet outlets that we paid for and are still dealing with that issue. No screens on any of the windows, and multiple electrical issues. Since the new Customer Care Manager came on board, he has been amazing in trying to fix the issues we have. Be cautious and ensure all work is complete to your standards. Before closing everyone was so eager to help in so many ways. After, it was rather difficult to get anyone to help until Dave came into the picture a month later. Things are starting to move now.

The home building process was a great experience. We are having more of an issue with communication with our warranty specialist. I know there are a lot of Pulte homes in the area and she is spread thin but when I ask a question or have a problem I shouldn’t have to keep following up to get an answer or resolution. The expectation is within 24 hours and that really hasn’t been happening.

The follow up from the customer care team post build needs work. Parts of the preclose inspection were rushed and not completed by Pulte. Still dealing with some impactful issues and contractors who randomly show up to fix things. The idea of an appt seams unknown to them, (Pulte) Give us a date and time. Then do you job. They have much to learn in that workflow

I have had multiple issues since moving in that should have been prevented. The internet company had to pull all new wire throughout the house because the cabling built into the house did not work. I’ve had an appliance guy come out became the dishwasher water supply was not working and once that worked the dishwasher did not drain. Most recently there is no cold water in the guest shower because the pipe is allegedly filled with glue and blocking the cold water supply. These issues require me to take additional time off of work and should have been tested and discovered at the time of install. Matt was an absolutely excellent and highly experienced during our home building experience. The building team (vendors and contractors) did an overall outstanding job in finishing the house in a timely manner. Jared and team did a great job with the appliance and warranty check ups and any additional follow ups. The sales team, Laura, was super informative and readily available for any concerns and questions. We did have some documentation issues with the mortgage team but overall we were able to close on time.

Nick, the site manager has been outstanding through out the entire process. As a first time home buyer, he made it look so easy with his quick respones and attention to details.

Mortgage experience could have been smoother

Overall, I love my home! The buying process was extremely positive and straightforward. The home was completed on time, however, on closing there were items that still needed to be addressed in the home, a post construction clean was not performed so there was dust everywhere, and there are several areas of sloppy rushed work that should have been addressed prior to closing.

Purchasing a house with Pulte was very pleasant. The staff was very kind and helpful with the entire process. All issues and or concerns were addressed appropriately in a timely manner.

Our new home is pleasant and as we expected in most features. The features that are especially helpful are the attention to soundproofing between houses, the amount of closets/storage space inside of the house, the size of the master bedroom and bath, and little extra features like the sliding patio door with screen that lets in lots of fresh air. Almost all of the people we dealt with throughout the process were knowledgeable, efficient, professional and responsive. Alfredo, Kit, Bobbi, Scott, and Brian stood out. Barbara with the title company stepped in after the previous representative was no longer available, and was very efficient, knowledgeable, and responded quickly to requests. The Pulte organization seems like a well-run organization. We do wish that the townhome community had sufficient street parking and large enough garages or driveways so that simple tasks like taking out the trash did not require the moving of cars or other items out of the garage. ...
