Overall a good (B) experience and friendly people. Disappointed in the workmanship though. Some of the things seem like they were done by an immature and not a professional. Pulte need to re-evaluate their contractors (HVAC, Electrical, Drywall and landscaping to be exact)

We love the house. Everything seems almost perfect. From location as school, shopping, restaurant to sercurity. 1 month from the day I move-in, there are some minor things happen like hot water, squeaking door, foggy window, air thermostate.

Love my house and although a good journey, there bumps, unsettling surprises, delays, headaches and things that could have gone and could have been done better.

The house was delayed for months. It took 1 year a two months to complete. It sat in framing with mechanicals in for 9 months. Pulte is simply a company relying on its founders good name and reputation. The regional construction executives have no idea that the day to day operations and execution is being completed by unskilled day laborers with one English speaking leader whose idea of excellence in construction is based on their home country’s standards which is mostly sub par. I will not build with Pulte again. The aggravation of waiting so long and finally having a product delivered that you can not sign off on for closing has spoiled the building experience for me. You'll love your new home built by Pulte, just be sure to keep the lines of communication open even if it becomes tiresome. Someone will eventually address your concerns only to make you feel they squeezed you into their very tight schedule. Personally, I trusted the individuals I dealt with during the process, but I was a customer, the feeling of being "we're with you" ran thin towards the finish line.

It was a first time home buying experience . Overall it was good experience for me but I did not get the home in time until last minute the work was pending .it was just a townhome but pulte did not plan well it took around 10 plus months to get a house which normally takes 4-5 months . Also the quality if the material is not up to the mark being a reputed builder .

Many times follow up of items leads to either request to wait till they find vendor or something they won’t know until you share pics. Commitment is commitment but what was told to me during sale was not that covered 100% also there was desperate rush to close house without listing what customer problem is

We are happy with the house. However, the closing was delayed, which impacted our moving schedule, due to items identified in the initial walkthrough not being addressed on time. Pulte wouldn’t agree to customize anything, even when we just asked to not install items. As an example, the bar soap in the shower is the cheapest one you could find (in a $390k house) and they wouldn’t agree to not put it up. The communication was a struggle at times between agent-realtor-builder. For example, our first walkthrough was delayed by 2 hours due to lack of communication between Pulte agent and realtor. Lastly, we ended up with a nice house and the builder did address all the pending items before closing. He has even come out to address a minor issue after closing. ... More

The house looks good and it is beautiful. I just wish they would take the time to finish things right. Some walls are smooth, others aren’t. Minor details are missing here and there and it takes a while for them to get fixed. Were it not for those things, it would be five stars all around. The employees must be overwhelmed. So, either Pulte should slow down and focus on quality, or higher more people.

Overall, I am happy with the quality of the house. However, the customer service of the builder is very very low. They will promise you the world to get you to buy the house and to have you to write a good review, but will drop contact and won't address anything they should have fixed once it is done.

It feels like the house was rushed to be built and the quality of the work is not on par with the price paid for the house

Amazing experience with everyone I interacted with, from the front office to project managers, loan officers, etc. However, at this price point, (over 600k), I had certain expectations for a home. Some of the standard/builder grade options were the same/less than my first new build (approximately 20 years ago). For example, I had a better shower/tub in my apartment than the stand tub/shower combo in my over half a million dollar home. In addition, some things just felt rushed. For example, there were a number of areas where paint hadn't been removed from the hard wood, paint dried but looked as though it was still dripping because of the way it dried...just small cosmetic things I didn't notice until after I moved in. ... I was surprised at the amount of obvious flaws and poor craftsmanship that we had to continuously point out for repair prior to closing. Bring a level and magnifying glass when doing routine walks or you’ll be stuck with shorty work.

It has definitely not been a stress free move process. A lot of rescheduling because of not receiving communication in time that walk-throughs cannot be met as things are not finished, or having to reschedule the closing multiple times. In the end we could not move the closing any further due to move out constraints, but the house was not fully ready yet 3 weeks after promised delivery when they were just one month out of closing. If they had focused on our house I'm sure they would have been able to, but it seems they were short staffed and had multiple closings around getting delayed, so sometimes nobody was working on it as it was just in the queue. A bit disappointed on the quality of the finishes in the house, we highlighted multiple times various areas to be addressed, but they never did. You get to the point that you give up asking and just see if you can do something yourself instead. Some examples are: paint on the hardwood floors, stain on the stairs are not done very well in certain spots or there are stain drips on hard wood. The whole house was dirty as well. It just doesn't show as a good quality finish. After moving in, I opened various tickets to address some immediate concerns. After not hearing for a while, a new warranty manager was appointed - Demetri. Demetri took immediate action and was great to work with. Based on his supervision my tickets got addressed with quick turnaround. In the end things look a bit better, but overall I would still not say it's high quality work that I would have expected based on the price I paid. The home buying experience was good. The design center experience was great. Once construction of the home started, communication was sketchy. We had four different project managers (PM) and I believe the communication between each PM during the transition from one to other was lacking. The quality of the workmanship could be better for the price of the home.

The builder was a good through the process (Lamar), but everyone else was highly untrustworthy

While the individuals (with a couple of notable exceptions) that we dealt with during the home build process were excellent, we experienced multiple delays in closing (four different close dates were scheduled). Even upon closing there were still several issues that needed to be taken care of and we still have a couple outstanding now. While overall the experience kind of what I expected, we were disappointed in the length of time taken to complete the home (over eight months) and the fact that when it closed there were still issues to iron out.

I must start off by staying my home had over a year worth of delays which significantly changed how much this home will cost me over the life of the loan due to interest rate changes during that time. The required deposit was $60k which made it very hard to back out of the deal. The contracted painters were the worst. My 7 and 10 year old nephews could have done a better job. The painters caused a lot of my repairs needed. I had the wrong colors on the walls, work was so sloppy it required 5 revisions of painting the main walls over. Black stain on my white oak hardwood which cause new floors to be ordered. I still have banisters that need black stain and poly. I have owned my house now a month. I still have paint spray over on my navy cabinets that are needing to be cleaned. I had cabinets replaced due to paint on them. Oh the worst is when the white brick on the front of my home had brown paint splashed on the front as if someone chucked brown paint out the top windows. Took 4 weeks after closing to get bricks replaced. Construction managers Van and later CJ are great communicators and tried their best to do the right thing and keep my meltdowns to a minimum. CJ went above and beyond trying to ensure Pulte reputation stayed in tact. I do not have fiber unground yet, no ability to get any internet so I cannot move in yet due to me working from home. So I am paying for a place I cannot live in yet. My 4floor AC stop working before closing and no one told me. Ben the Warrenty manager talked me off the ledge and really came to the rescue on that. I think a series of an awful lot of small issues that took weeks of followup, crying, meltdowns and time out of my life has me second guessing whatever I might find in the future. Both David’s were very helpful and rock stars. Rachel was not truthful and shared a lot of bad information making this process very difficult. The quality of the house if not worth the price. The yards could be more presentable at the time of sale. The floors are already squeaking and we have only been in the house a few months. There are a lot of craftsmanship items that Pulte still needs to fix.

Everything in this house was rushed and looks like a half done job. Super sloppy work. Even the most basic things were not up to par. At first I was happy but after settling in I’m finding so many things wrong. Very disappointing.

The quality of workmanship inside the home is extremely poor. The baseboards and door frames have dents and lines throughout. The paint is splattered and chunky throughout. However, the project manager and support team are great. They are quick to handle issues. We are currently prioritizing what we want to deal with in terms of resolving the cosmetic issues, and what we are willing to live with.

This is my 5th new property that I buy and the have really bad quality I didn’t like the quality of the townhome in general and they give me the townhome with a lot incomplete areas and poor warranty service

While our salesperson and field manager were very nice and pleasant to work with, we were very disappointed in the workmanship on our home. For the price we would have expected a much better job from the trades

This is not my first home buying experience. IN the past had new home buying exp with other Builders too. I will not say Pulte is bad or good. But only piece of advice is that defi. check out for Quality of workmanship , Value for price etc available during the process of home buying, Lookout for options.
