It was a first time home buying experience . Overall it was good experience for me but I did not get the home in time until last minute the work was pending .it was just a townhome but pulte did not plan well it took around 10 plus months to get a house which normally takes 4-5 months . Also the quality if the material is not up to the mark being a reputed builder .

While our salesperson and field manager were very nice and pleasant to work with, we were very disappointed in the workmanship on our home. For the price we would have expected a much better job from the trades

This is not my first home buying experience. IN the past had new home buying exp with other Builders too. I will not say Pulte is bad or good. But only piece of advice is that defi. check out for Quality of workmanship , Value for price etc available during the process of home buying, Lookout for options.

Materials seem to be quality but finishing workmanship is not very good. Lots of issues with drywall, baseboards that need to be replaced, tub drains missing or not installed, chipped marble in the bathroom, window frames/screen frames bent, etc I have several warranty tickets outstanding and no drywall has been addressed. Also baseboard in the master bedroom was supposed to be replaced pre closing. As of today (nearly 8 weeks later) it still hasn't been replaced.

The builder was a good through the process (Lamar), but everyone else was highly untrustworthy

While the individuals (with a couple of notable exceptions) that we dealt with during the home build process were excellent, we experienced multiple delays in closing (four different close dates were scheduled). Even upon closing there were still several issues that needed to be taken care of and we still have a couple outstanding now. While overall the experience kind of what I expected, we were disappointed in the length of time taken to complete the home (over eight months) and the fact that when it closed there were still issues to iron out.

We recently built a house with Pulte. I cannot say we got the value we paid for our home. All of the trim work was in really rough shape. We had to hire an external painter to come in and fix a lot of the trim, mudding, and painting. It is still not fixed correctly, because it was just too much to get done and would have cost a fortune (since we did not want to have all of the trim ripped out and redone.) I feel like this is not something I should have had to pay for considering my house almost cost half of a million dollars. The whole building process was very rushed and you can see that in our home. We have spots where grout is missing in the bathrooms, we were not able to get the fixtures we wanted due to back order, some of the hardwood is not glued properly, banisters not sealed correctly, brick has not been pressure washed, sloppy brick laying outside, the sidewalks have gouges in them and look rushed. There were many options that we could have had with this home, but was not offered to us. Example-sprinkler system, unaware Kitchen Aid appliances also had a confection oven capability. The closing process took us over three hours since we were not allowed to leave until the money from our lender cleared with Pulte. I feel like it was that way due to us using an outside lender and not Pulte. Overall the house was built quickly and we are glad to have a home, but it does show it was rushed. Field managers tell you what you want to hear but do not follow through with service requests. Multiple items that should have been taken care of before closing were not and still are not 3 months later. COVID has caused some understandable delays but the company is not up front with communication and realistic time frames. Also no one is managing the many companies involved during the move in period and the homeowner is left to fend for themselves, to keep on top of contractors to complete a task.

I had few issues and builder is not getting fixed and I was following , they responded and but not provided any solutions, I just completed 2months in this new home.

The home itself has been decent, other than the exposed nail heads in my shingles and missing flashing. The lot is absolutely terrible. The lot floods with each rain and is a sponge for days afterwards. When landscaping we found sliding, nails, screws, and a huge amount of rocks under the sod. I expressed my lot concerns with Pulte multiple times and it was dismissed as a non issue. I will continue to collect documentation for future disputes under the “Right to Repair Act” if action isn’t taken from Pulte regarding the lot.

I purchased this home in good faith and that their would be a clear line of communication throughout the whole process when it came to any issues. At first things look promising and was assured if any issues occurred they would be resolved in a timely manner. The overall home is good, but the quality of the material used and workmanship lacks. Example if you spray the home walls or doors, but touch up common area spots with a brush or roller its noticeable. Another issue is touching up spots with multiple coats of paint leads to it just pealing off especially in areas where there is friction like doors and door frames. Quality of material like the trim lacks in common areas. Example using trim pieces with noticeable chips and dents and not fixing/filling in or using quality pieces makes common areas look bad. I closed on 09/23/24 and moved in 10/26/24. Giving the builder and their team time to address the issues. I have had floors, doors and trim fixed due to water leaking into the home, but the work has not been finished. Its been 2 weeks since and no communication/follow up has been received even after contacting the builder. I understand things will occur over time, but leaving unfinished work is not good business or practice especially when there was no follow up. It has been one week since moving in this home and I find more workmanship and materials issues than anything else. I appreciate Pulte providing this additional survey as previous surveys I completed were given better ratings, but as things progressed, I am glad I have the opportunity to provide additional feedback, ... I was expecting that Pulte would give us a good quality build but it’s not up to my expectations. There are so many imperfections we could notice once we moved in . After rain there are so many leaks in our house and backyard was not graded properly , highly disappointed with Pulte and its quality . Should have gone with some other builder .

Do not trust on them and get all issues fixed before closing.

Issue with landscaping, issue with the paint job, not properly inspected by the property construction manager. not even a month after closing so many issues. not sure how many issues are going to arise in the next year.

We had multiple issues with the final details of our home. The final paint was subpar, sloppy finishing with gaps on baseboards and stairs. We also had a roof leak in our bathroom the first week we moved in. With the price we paid, the finishing details should have been better. We delayed closing twice to have major issues addressed like bowing walls and mal-stained landings.

My name is Kushal. Response for issues is terrible. My cabinets are coming off by itself. Sent email and called them no response. Cabinets are not included in warranty. People who worked on my cabinets did a very bad job, there are lot off issues with my cabinets.

My home construction manager quit in the home stretch. The manager that picked up our home did a great job; however, things agreed to with previous manager that was IMPORTANT to us became null and void.

This was my second new build home. My first was with a different builder and the experience with my previous builder went so smoothly I regretfully assumed the process would be relatively good with any new build. I was wrong. I am so disappointed in my Pulte home. I feel like I was scammed into accepting poor craftsmanship. I bought this home less than two months ago and already want to put it back on the market to get rid of it. All they do is cut corners with their houses then promise an exhaustive warranty. I rather not deal with issues and cheap materials in the first place.

I love my house and it is a beautiful floor plan, but I have some issues with the workmanship and materials since the house is very expensive.

Love the home layout and design. Construction took forever while the builder was inconsistent and unresponsive at times. Even after moving in...he was given a list of issues needing resolve and he never followed through. The sales office was excellent. Quality of build and issues seen since moving in have been very disappointing.

One has to really plan well in buying home with Pulte. As soon as you make buying decision, they give no time in deciding about the upgrades. They dont have any 3d tools to show the upgrades. In one two hours everything needs to be decided with no chance to revisit the options. They are inflexible and their contract is one sided. For example as a buyer we cannot move the closing date but they can move the closing dates. Beware: they will try to close the house much before it is actually finished. Dont agree to it, it takes long time to get the pending issues complete. I have closed house six weeks back, the issues are still pending. The build quality is bad and hasty. Please have a home inspector to review everything. Specially watch for the paint and plumbing. Their internal inspection is not very good and everything is outsourced to the vendors. Please be very careful in choosing the lot. They may say your lot size is .5 acre but they may leave a lot of wooded area. You have to ask in how much area they will put the grass and what they will leave wooded. They will even leave the construction material in the woods, ask them to clean it. While I am happy the construction managers got me in my house prior to my rate lock expiration, extremely disappointed with the quality of work by the 3rd party vendors Pulte Construction uses. Given brand and price point of home, Pulte either needs to hire more construction workers under warranty the Pulte Construction brand (permanent employees) or leverage better contractors. Attention to detail was below my expectations. The only instance where I would recommend Pulte is if you are in the early stages of a up and coming area.

Overall a good experience with the actual building and the various Pulte staff including sales, construction manager (excellent!), and the designer. The building structure is solid; however, there were many cosmetic issues mainly due to the drywall and paint finish. Even after 3 reviews, it only marginally improved. Also, I've been waiting over a month on a couple smaller warranty issues.

Good Side - Dealing with the Production Manager was excellent. He was one of the best crew members I dealt with. He was very co-operative in every stage of the work. Bade Side - My 3 star rating is mainly due to to incomplete work that Pulte has done in my house. At closing the master bed shower glass was not installed and Pulte committed me with a date of 07/08. However further to that there is no follow-up being done nor any updates are shared with me. I had multiple calls with the Prod Manager but he does not seem to have any update from Atlanta Glass Door company. But at the same time I also see the glass door getting fitted in other houses which were closed along with me as well as few which are not yet closed or closed after mine. It is more than a month now after closing and my shower glass door is not yet installed. I had few complaints and issues for certain things not working properly in the house for which I had to reach out the service warranty department. I raised service requests with them for couple of issue but had no luck to get the problem fixed. It is been more that 2 weeks, I haven't got any update on that. ... More
