The real estate agent along with the materials given to me summarizing approximate closing dates were deceptive and incorrect. Also, I had done my final inspection ahead of time and someone had come in and kicked a whole in the bathroom wall under sink.

The local construction managers were great to work with and did an amazing job helping us get into the house. Unfortunately, there are many issues with the house that they are unable to resolve due to the company policy. The gutters on the house are too small to handle the rain in Georgia and will need to be replaced at my cost. Lots of small issues that we are finding all over the interior and exterior of the home. Hello, I was one of the first people to close on a smart home at Pulte and Georgia Power’s Altus at the Quarter development. Unfortunately, the high hopes I had for my new home were dealt a severe blow due to my horrible experience with closing on my new home. Many issues with new home build, poor quality and workmanship

Roof was leaking, ever since the home was built and house had mold on the walls and under the floor right after closing. Was told by roofer that this was a common issue due to framing. Pulte is still building this elevation, so buyer beware. False promises and sweet talking before signing of contract. Lot premium is a rip off, and appraisal is only for the base price. Base price includes nothing of value. I would NOT recommend this builder, nor would I be buying a Pulte home again.

Sloppy workmanship

I was extremely disappointed in the quality of products used in my home, the sloppy workmanship within the house. ..unfinished walls, clumps of plaster where wall connects to door frame. Dust painted over on surfaces so not smooth. There was no priming of paint on walls, ceiling or wood trim. I can see the Sheetrock through the paint on the walls and ceiling, paint is peeling off the woodwork and can see bare wood. When pull painters tape off wall it takes the paint with it. Poor quality, finish and workmanship. Delayed and ineffective communication. Once they have your money they couldn't care less about the finished product they are selling. Same homes and floor plans adjacent to mine with same upgrades getting sold for much lesser than what I paid for. Quality of the construction work is very poor. The house was not built at the luxury home standards. There was mess up in flooring, they dig the concrete in kitchen which left a lot of dust on all appliances and backsplash in kitchen. Painting work is very bad. I don't recommend Pulte homes.

A Disappointing Experience

There were a lot of issues with the new townhouse that we recently purchased from Pulte. There is a lot of unfinished work. When we report an issue in the construction, there is no response. The painting on the wall and windows are shabby. A deadbolt lock is forgotten to be installed, and another one can't be used as the latch and the hole are not aligned. And many more. When we report the issues on the Pulte website, no response. We bought this townhouse for location. In the future, recommend staying away from Pulte.

Before closing, there was a laundry list of issues that were promised to be fixed after closing. Some were small, others pretty big. The more minor issues I fixed myself or the supervisor had resolved. Without being petty, I will say the overall workmanship was poor. The biggest issue I reported was visible seems on the ceiling. Terrible experience with Pulte. This is my fourth new build and I understand there will be problems with the home after it's finished. The workmanship is sloppy, lack of accountability is unacceptable, and communication should have been much better. My small home of less than 1,800 sq. ft. and priced over 500K, and it looks more like a $250K home. The builder is responsive. However, he does not follow through with his promises. We always had to remind him to take care of small issues. The craftmanship is very bad. It is a $550,000 home but feels like a $200K home. I would not recommend anyone to buy any home from Pulte. Huge regret.
