I bought a quick move in home that was already half way completed when I got it. It took two months for the builder to complete the home and during that process I did not receive much updates on the progress. The day of closing they were still trying to rush finishing the home and installing things like windows or doors. I identified several issues in quality and poor workmanship in the the finishers, paint, materials. This my third new home. I was told this is a great builder with quality homes. DON’T YOU BELIEVE THEM. I tried to get my $15,000 dollars back and move on, but no, they told me even though we said we will have your house ready but did not, we normally don’t do this but pick another house. Out of all the homes I have bought from different builders, this one gets a ZERO. The sales person, sucks, the builder, the worst and the house , equally bad. They distract you from the big issues before closing. Then once you close everything has to go through warranty. Don’t close without a professional at your side

Terrible experience with Pulte. This is my fourth new build and I understand there will be problems with the home after it's finished. The workmanship is sloppy, lack of accountability is unacceptable, and communication should have been much better. My small home of less than 1,800 sq. ft. and priced over 500K, and it looks more like a $250K home. Closets and pantry wire shelves are narrow, they could have installed the much deeper size or wood shelves. Many issues with new home build, poor quality and workmanship

Roof was leaking, ever since the home was built and house had mold on the walls and under the floor right after closing. Was told by roofer that this was a common issue due to framing. Pulte is still building this elevation, so buyer beware. False promises and sweet talking before signing of contract. Lot premium is a rip off, and appraisal is only for the base price. Base price includes nothing of value. I would NOT recommend this builder, nor would I be buying a Pulte home again.

Builder was great. The problem is with the warranty claims after the closing. It is taking forever to get a response and have the issues fixed.

We had a water leak in the office room downstairs. We put in a warranty claim. The initial response was very fast which we appreciated it. The leak was fixed and stopped quickly. However, we’ve been waiting for more than a month for the drywall and the carpet that were damaged to be fixed. This should not take this long. My wife works from home and uses this office for work. We are having a very bad experience with the warranty issues to be completed in a timely manner. It is very disappointing.

Sales pitch was excellent but after that all that we saw was 1. Poor quality of workmanship 2. Don't care attitude from construction teams and sales team 3. Quality of the construction work is very poor. The house was not built at the luxury home standards. There was mess up in flooring, they dig the concrete in kitchen which left a lot of dust on all appliances and backsplash in kitchen. Painting work is very bad. I don't recommend Pulte homes.

Let me start by saying on Pulte Group’s Built to Honor website they brag about how much they take care of veterans and yet I have 30 years of honorable service. My Sales Agent never explained the contract. Never told me once the frame is on the house I get no options. The builder is responsive. However, he does not follow through with his promises. We always had to remind him to take care of small issues. The craftmanship is very bad. It is a $550,000 home but feels like a $200K home. I would not recommend anyone to buy any home from Pulte. Huge regret.

A Disappointing Experience

There were a lot of issues with the new townhouse that we recently purchased from Pulte. There is a lot of unfinished work. When we report an issue in the construction, there is no response. The painting on the wall and windows are shabby. A deadbolt lock is forgotten to be installed, and another one can't be used as the latch and the hole are not aligned. And many more. When we report the issues on the Pulte website, no response. We bought this townhouse for location. In the future, recommend staying away from Pulte.

After closing Pulte has become the next best thing to a ghost

Following closing Pulte does not respond to calls and emails for problems found in the home within 2 months post move in…basement water damage, buckling vinyl plank flooring, external GFCI not working preventing proper use of irrigation system controls, automatic garage door stopped working, backordered thermostats. These are just a few of the items.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this builder. Our experience was not only horrible, we are regretful. William, the property agent, was great at his job and pleasant but outside of him the experience was egregious. Jim in sales was just cruel. After we purchased the home Amanda became our POC and the support is inconsistent. Our plumbing backed up the 2nd day in the home so I was in sewer water in the shower, the sod was not put down correctly, the interior paint job was amateurish, part of the front of the house had to be repainted and all of this (and more) took 7 weeks to complete. I have sent numerous emails including photos displaying the poor workmanship, quality of materials and responsiveness to resolve issues that were identified during several walkthroughs and should been completed prior to closing, One may ask, "Why did you close?" Pulte strong arms buyers into closing after receiving the right to occupancy. Beware of the monetary penalty if you fail to close on their preset date in the contract.
