My construction manager in particular made this experience a breeze so far. Our inspector said he’s never seen such a well built new build. Not all have the same experience in this neighborhood but Zach really stepped it up. He’s been extremely responsive and a “yes” man!

Overall the experience was as pleasant as building a house and moving can be.

Key to our satisfaction can be attributed to the current Construction Supervisor Jerry Little. With 25 years of home building experience and special relationships with his subcontractors Jerry delivered a home with above average build quality and two months ahead of promised delivery date. His follow-up and communication were awesome.

It took us a while to select a perfect lot for our new home. We didn’t want a large yard but a small yard with a larger home which we pick the Continental model. We selected many upgrades to make this our perfect home. The quality of the home is extremely beautiful with minor flaws we address to Pulte Homes. Overall, we are happy with our home purchase and I would recommend Pulte Homes to new buyers.

Steven Wood was a Great construction manager from start to finish! He was in constant communication and quickly addressed any issues. We built the home remotely from Michigan but we’re confident in Steve’s oversight of our home build.

Pulte Homes employees were fantastic through our building process and continue to be responsive with the minor issues we’ve had after moving in. No house is perfect but we are very pleased with our Pulte home!

John S and Konrad B are great Superintendents! The garage is too small - needs to be wider and deeper. Pulte also dropped the ball big time - major mistake by building and selling a "Smart Home" wired with Cat 6 cable with no internet in the neighborhood, Still waiting on Comcast to come today (8-7-19) and we moved in 6-28-19.

It was a pleasure working with the Pulte team on the construction of my house. Steve was a fantastic Project Manager - knowledgeable, passionate, available and communicative. Pulte has a first-rate, standardized approach that yields a quality product that was delivered on budget and 30 days ahead of schedule. I would recommend Pulte to both family and friends.

From the very beginning of the process, and still ongoing 2 months after closing, the Pulte team has been only a phone call away. The team has offered and provided support at every turn. Even prior to closing I was receiving updates, checklists and contact rosters for any contingency. When I have had to reach out for answers or problem solving I have received a response within hours or just a few days. The Pulte team has gone way over expectations in providing me with the channels and contacts to solve any issue. Construction manager consistently kept us in touch during the building process. Provided pictures which were helpful being out of state. Any touch ups after we closed were addressed in reasonable time.

Pulte has a very good process, and is responsive to issues. They do exclusively use contractors for the various steps of the construction process. That can be both good and bad. I don't know if they keep a very high retainage in order to remedy issues and assure quality control.

I was visiting the sales office for a long scheduled appointment. My presence was totally expected at that time. Pulte Management decided that this would also be a good time to terminate the sales rep I was working with. This individual was understandably very upset and told me that my complaints about his performance caused him to lose his job. Whether that was true or not, it wasn't, he should not have been terminated at a sales office with customers present. I still have PTSD about it, seriously. He has a wife and small child to support.

From initial design & build thru completion/move-in was great… Issue resolution with “post-move in items” not so good…most work orders 2-4wks old and counting

Overall, it was a good experience

During this time of shortages of material and labor Pulte was able to get our home built- just later than expected. We had 4 projected closing dates. It seemed that the focus was on getting the building done more than on the home buyers at some points. When we closed there were some issues and the important one was addressed but some of the other items are still waiting attention. We do like the design and basic quality of our house and would buy from Pulte in the future

The process was smooth up until after sale. A few issues with quality appeared in the 30 days after move in that did not present during the final walkthrough (all relatively minor) but the builder was extremely unresponsive about them.

We absolutely love our new home and living in Waterways, but as we actually live in the house, we are definitely noticing a lack of quality management in the build process. From walls not being painted very well, to cracks in moldings and trim work not being cleaned up properly and repainted. After one month, we have has three cabinets replaced and part of our island repainted. All of these issues are minor, but the construction manager acts like we are being picky when we highlight some of the things that he should have caught prior to closing. I do feel that for the price that you pay for these houses, the attention to detail and pride of construction should match what is being sold to you. Unfortunately, every time we have asked for something to be fixed, we are treated like we are being a nuisance, rather than a concerned customer. If we were not trying to get moved in when we did, I would have preferred to push back the closing date to ensure things were done properly, before moving in. ... More

The Pulte home buying experience started out to be very positive. Unfortunately, the craftsmanship and attention to detail was mediocre at best. We felt the builder was more interested in closing several home before the end of the year than actually doing quality work. After moving in and speaking with other residents in the Norwood Chase neighborhood, we see that most of the 33 homes are experiencing similar concerns. Our construction manager was amazing and working like crazy to meet the demands. It’s impossible. I hope Pulte gives new buyers better attention at their new subdivisions in Richmond Hill, Georgia. This was my first experience with Pulte. The overall build of the house is exceptional.

So I would like to give my opinion on the whole pulte process, initially given a day in October to close, they wanted it done by September so I agreed and went ahead with it, Steve did a good job finishing things up and house looked good at closure, a couple of issues existed which he was prompt with, even though he got sick he still responded, I do appreciate that, still one more issue we are waiting on but I am not sure if its due to health issues so I of course will be patient, now the mortgage side was not very well done, I think they wanted to close so they could quickly turn around and sell the mortgage off, which they did in 11 days, before the first payment was done, I was told by pulte mortgage that they gave the new loan holder my current mailing address which never happened, never got a letter stating the change in loan holder, after multiple calls to pulte, the letter was resent, also was told they had a breach with their system, which explains why I could never get set up in it, finally after getting multiple tries I was able to get a real person who did not have our current mailing address , why I should have to spend hours doing this is ridiculous, anyway, thats my story, thanks ...
