Disappointed Build Quality

Sales team, design team and lending team were good. No real issues there. Quality of product is a different story. From quality of materials to work ethic of sub contractors, we had issues from the moment framing started. So many issues with walls not being squared that it’s become laughable at this point. Our original construction manager was disengaged and made constant excuses. Luckily we walked the the house weekly and took pictures so we stayed on top of him non stop but still had issues getting issues addressed. He was replaced with another manager and I will say he has been amazing. ...

Construction Manager Cold Care Less

Ryan our construction manager made such a stink when we asked him to come back and look at the poor craftsmanship. When we moved in there were big items he did not address. We couldn’t move in properly because so many things needed to be fixed or touched up. He shook our hands and promised it would be done before move in day. Nope. And he’s blown us off when meeting the launders at the house- they ripped paint off the side of the walls, used our water to wash out their paint buckets leaving paint all over our lawn. Communication is not very good at all

Materials are not quality boards are warped outside and inside. Walls are not square as we are now doing work inside the home where it shows. As for warranty work I havent seen it yet with at least 3 emails

Every bit of the process was like pulling teeth and getting any information on the process was abysmal. Lack of materials aside, getting any updates on what was happening, when things got done, or any sense of urgency was unbecoming of a company so reputable. It was evident that the build manager was so inundated with extra work and handcuffed by his superiors that he was unable to do his job properly. We were out of state buyers. Our closing date was not flexible. Our house was rushed to finish and the shotty work relected that. I do hope the warranty rectifies the many issues but in my opinion somethings just can't be fixed or in Pulte language caulked!

Poor workmanship, no accountability to get problems solved, no communication on status and updates. Series of issues identified in the house prior to closing and not resolved after nearly 45 days after closing.

Stay away from Pulte!

Our brand new Pulte home is one of the most cheaply built, poorly constructed homes I have ever owned. I would NEVER buy a Pulte home again. Cookie-cutter, unimaginative design, poor use of space. Home Depot light fixtures, hardware, cabinetry, carpeting and flooring. Paint is so thin I can see drywall underneath it. Numerous unfinished rough-cut wood that was simply painted over. This home is easily $250K over-priced. Horrible!

Total lack of consideration for the home owner dragging out multiple repairs and no one cares…knowing what I know now I would have went a different route. I tried to get out of this before the lot was cleared but I was assured everything would workout perfect lol far cry from perfect or acceptable. Only thing WW has going on is the environment of the area outside of that forget it. I’m sorry exhausted from waiting inspecting and nothing happening and if they come to repair one thing they damage another it’s very sad. Pushed us to close with many things within the house still needing to be fixed. Major problem with master bathroom and won’t even be able to enjoy the shower for a month after closing. Unacceptable!

From the beginning to the end Pulte did not deliver as promise. The mortgage company pulled out last minute and didn’t understand what I explained would be needed up front, additional monies were charged and not refunded, items I didn’t want were charged and performance on final product poor. After closing a power line was cut by builder and property was rushed to close but unliveable with no power for two weeks while I was of course paying to own it and rushed to close then the builder cut the line.

You would expect a bit better from Pulte. Pulte has fallen short in most areas. House not worth what we paid. Still have issues with house. Quality is not there. Floors coming up. Paint coming off walls. Trim falling off. Moved in April 2022! Don't buy at Norwood Chase!

Bad workmanship, not trustworthy

More than 7 weeks after closing: - the tile incorrectly installed has not been completely repaired - there is no enclosure for the owner's shower, so it can't be used - the owner's bathroom toilet has been removed and sits in the shower - the material that should have been ordered in November hasn't been, so we're still waiting for it - the bad stain job on the stairs and handrails has been poorly redone and is turning yellow - many other issues communicated in October and November to the field manager remain unaddressed Pulte has not been trustworthy at all. Buyer BEWARE! My advice is DO NOT purchase a home built by Pulte. We recently did and regret our choice. Qualified carpenters do not do the construction on interior or exterior. Our home should be totally redone. Interior trim not sanded prior to paint, particle board used as trim rather than wood. Exterior siding applied over damaged frame, attic trusses not installed properly, just for starters
